    I am extremely disappointed with Joline Pet Spa & Boutique and feel compelled to share my terrible…read moreexperience. I took my dog, Blu, here for grooming on 12/13. Later that night, I noticed he was squinting his left eye and barely opening it. I waited two days, hoping it would improve, but it didn't. When I called to express my concern, the lady at the front desk showed little to no empathy. All she said was that it wasn't their fault and that I should take him to the vet. She also mentioned I could come in to view pictures and videos. Hoping Blu would improve, I ordered an antibiotic cream and waited. A week later, when his condition didn't get better and he was clearly in pain, I called back to express my worry and frustration. This time, the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and dismissive. She repeated, "It wasn't us, there's nothing I can do to help you. Take him to the vet or come in to see the videos." I decided to visit in person. Upon arrival, I wasn't greeted. The front desk lady just walked to the back to get the manager. When the manager came out, she pulled out her iPhone, showed me a photo of Blu, and said, "When he left here, both eyes were open, so it wasn't us." I explained again that Blu wasn't like this before his grooming. I asked to see the video, and she said it was an hour long and asked if I had time to sit there and watch it. I asked her to send it to me instead, and she refused, citing that other dogs were visible in the video. The lack of accountability was astounding. I asked her, "If I get into a car accident and my back starts hurting the next day, does that mean the accident didn't cause it because the pain wasn't immediate?" She brushed off my concerns, saying she's been doing this for 15 years and that if they had caused the issue, it would've been immediate. After 4 years of bringing Blu here, I felt like just another customer. No empathy, no accountability, no effort to make the situation right. I told her I wasn't asking for money--just some compassion during a difficult situation. Instead, I was met with defensiveness and dismissiveness. I finally took Blu to the vet, and the doctor said his eye issue likely happened during grooming--possibly from shampoo getting into his eye, unsanitized scissors, or rough handling during trimming. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They're only interested in collecting your money and returning your dog after a haircut. If you care about your pet's safety and well-being, take them elsewhere. If anyone has questions about my experience, feel free to reach out.
