I bought a dog from this establishment last February. The owner gave us papers which were fake and told us it would be a Teddy Bear Pomeranian. These people are lairs and no one should go here. I spent $3500 for what I was told was a small teddy bear pom just like the previous one we had. What we got was a throwback Pomeranian. He was a beautiful dog but not what we thought we purchased. The dog was too big for our home. We had to re home the dog, he is doing great. Nevertheless, the owner of this place is a liar and does not care about anything except taking people money. We have since bought another Pomeranian from and up front and honest breeder. DO NOT PATORNIZE Oh My Dog. THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!! Dropped my dog off for grooming at 3:40pm, at 3:57p, they called me to tell me they noticed his eye is red and if he's allergic to anything, i told them no. I came back to pick him up at 5:37p and his eye is extremely red, as if he was poked in the eye. It wasn't until I came home and examined his eye when I noticed he has a cut under his eye and I see that his cornea is peeled back. I called an urgent care to see if I should bring him in immediately, the vet agreed and said I should schedule an appointment with an ophthalmologist to look at his eye and that there is absolutely damage and may have to have the eye removed, I've been crying non stop, my dog has never had any issues with eyes prior to this grooming visit, I called and the store is closed, I can't even leave a voicemail! They did not take any accountability when I went to pick my dog up, they said they had no idea what was wrong with him!! Clearly something happened in there that no one mentioned to me. read more

Horrible. I left my dog there to shower one day at 9 am. Fast foward to around 2 pm i go there because they are talking so long and they say that there was an emergency with a dog. at 4 pm i pick my dog up and he's fine. About 2 weeks after we notice a scar on his face with a scab. His doctor said it was a burn scar that is usually caused when god get grommed. The worker was very rude to my mother and getting extremely flustered due to my dogs accident. I walked in and he suddlently " settled down" but my mother later told me how he was raising his tone! THE OLDER GUY HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is a pet groomer place after all and dogs have accidents. After that , a frequent complaint I have and concern is how long my dog is in the groomers. I love this place! I came here over a year ago after a friend recommended them. I have been so happy with their services. They have a great shop that sells clothing and all things dogs. We come here for the grooming. The amount of work they put into it is very assuring. They really love and take care of the dogs. My dogs are always happy when I pick them up. I can honestly say I trust my dog being here. With that said, my pup is absolutely terrible lol, he's a spoiled little doggo and he doesn't listen at all or sit still. I know I know, completely my fault. The fact that they can really trim all around and get in his ears without ever having cut him is spectacular. I've been taking my little Jack here for 3 years now and I've never had a problem. He always comes back with a little tie too! Recently, I found a flea on him and of course I freaked out and did everything I could to get rid of it so after a few Dawn baths I thought it was a good idea to get him a nice short haircut too. They did a great job, recommended me their flea bath too and they called and said they didn't find anything on him. They were really caring. As far as people saying they don't take bigger/pit mixes and everything, the salon is very small. It's definitely geared toward smaller dogs. They sell clothing too, which is adorable by the way. I got him a hoodie two years ago and he still has it. So I don't think they discriminate against breeds I just think they have a main focus on smaller dogs. Definitely recommend them! read more

I dropped off my 2 year old French Bull Dog on may 13th at Oh My Dog for a regular grooming I was told to come get him 2 hrs later. When picking him he was brought out almost passing out. Heavily wheezing and with a purple tongue. I'm aware French Bull Dogs have trouble breathing because of their air ways but he wasn't given water and the shop it's self wasn't ventilated and with no AC. I asked if he was given water and they said yes but immediately gave me a used bowl with water. Since then my dog has contracted Kennel Cough and is still recovering 2 weeks later. I have been looking for a groomer for my dog since I moved from Colorado. I decided to give all my dog a try and they were so easy to set up an appointment and the location was close to where I live. The owner was super friendly was able to ask me questions and walk me through whatever all of her needed and I told him to do everything that needs to be done ha ha. I am really picky about the way my dog gets his haircut and they did an absolutely amazing job. His hair is fluffy and smells like heaven, his teeth are nice and pearly white, and they did a great job cutting around his eyes which is the most important thing to me. I went in today just to meet the owner & show her my puppy, right away she was able to groom him THE SAME DAY. I was beyond thankful for her to groom him the same especially with all the madness of COVID & me being in healthcare almost having very limit time to run errands. The whole experience was quick and smooth. Pookie, (my dog) was extremely happy afterwards & looked brand new. This time around, they hurt my dog. I took him to get his haircut and they called me back within an hour. They barely cut his hair and they gave him back to me with a red eye. Either they poked his eye or they got shampoo in it, it isn't okay. This place needs better customer service and it needs to be more careful. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I usually bring my girl to this groomer. There was one time I brought her to a different groomer and they ruined the hair on her ears (they were like Brillo pads), and knotted her body hair. When I brought her back to Oh My Dog, I was afraid they would have to shave all of the hair off her ears and body. Thankfully they were able to save her ears--they are soooo soft now. They did have to shave more than I wanted off her body, but they kept as much as they could. What I really appreciated was that they called me to let me know before they did anything I hadn't originally asked for. She smells soooooo good and is so soft. I just don't know where to start. First off, making the appointment was easy peasy. They had availability right away. I took them on a Saturday and As soon as I walked in the place was beautiful as they also sell doggie apparel and accessories. Marcos the guy at the front desk was pleasant, accommodating and Very personable and right away I knew my girls would be safe. He was informative and took his time to explain things to me. I took pictures of some of the cuts on their IG page that I wanted for my girls. When I left my girls were at ease and didn't seems scared at all. Guess they felt the same positive energy in the shop as I did. Marcos called me 30 minutes before the girls were done for me to come and pick them up. I was very surprised because it only about two hours for the two of them to Get groomed which was very surprising. But when I got there my dogs literally looked like show dogs. Marcos wife Ingrid outdid herself! My girls came out way better than the picture I showed them. They were absolutely beautiful and happy and smelled so good and felt so soft. Check out was fast and easy. I didn't know they didn't take cash on Saturdays but Marcos accommodated me and let me use a credit card. This place is the best. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else. We have finally found a grooming home not far from home, AFFORDABLE and one that doesn't take hours for the magic to happen. Similar to a previous comment/customer, I was denied service. I walked in for a nail trim on a Saturday and I was greeted by the owner, who said "no nail trims on weekends." This is despite being told on a previous occasion by him that for nail trims you don't need appointments. Most notably, however, him and his assistant were both sitting down doing absolutely nothing when I walked in...these are the same two people that do the nail trims! At any rate, will I go back? Took my long coat chihuahua for the first time here last week and I was very satisfied. They gave him the CUTEST trim and he smelled fantastic. It's been 6 days later and he still smells great! I took a star off because I felt like they could have cleaned his right ear and his teeth a little better but next time I will just mention this when I drop it off and I'm sure they will be accommodating. Their prices are GREAT compared to other groomers in the area. I only paid $45 for a wash, cut, nail trim, teeth cleaning and ear cleaning. My dog, Lucky, seemed perfectly fine when I picked him up. I've been taking our dogs here for close to a year but will not be going back. Recently took our french bulldog and shihztu to be groomed/bathed - when I picked them both up they were both soaking wet on their bellies - our frenchie was put in the cage with our shihztu and was so overheated he was drooling massive amounts and panting uncontrollably. He drooled so much from being hot in the cage both of my dogs under bellies were covered in it. Upon getting him home he was clearly disoriented and burning up - struggling to breath and even stand up -- these dogs can die as any dog can from heat exhaustion - the staff did nothing to make him more comfortable/give water etc. It took him almost two hours to recover to the point he could breath normally and he was completely wiped out the rest of the day. read more

I brought both my Bichon and Australian Shepherd in for a grooming because it was right by my house. My Bichon was full of knots everywhere and was shaven to get rid of them all and my other dog was full of dead hair.
