Dropped my dog off for grooming at 3:40pm, at 3:57p, they called me to tell me they noticed his eye is red and if he's allergic to anything, i told them no. I came back to pick him up at 5:37p and his eye is extremely red, as if he was poked in the eye. It wasn't until I came home and examined his eye when I noticed he has a cut under his eye and I see that his cornea is peeled back. I called an urgent care to see if I should bring him in immediately, the vet agreed and said I should schedule an appointment with an ophthalmologist to look at his eye and that there is absolutely damage and may have to have the eye removed, I've been crying non stop, my dog has never had any issues with eyes prior to this grooming visit, I called and the store is closed, I can't even leave a voicemail! They did not take any accountability when I went to pick my dog up, they said they had no idea what was wrong with him!! Clearly something happened in there that no one mentioned to me.
I can honestly say I trust my dog being here. With that said, my pup is absolutely terrible lol, he's a spoiled little doggo and he doesn't listen at all or sit still. I know I know, completely my fault. The fact that they can really trim all around and get in his ears without ever having cut him is spectacular. I've been taking my little Jack here for 3 years now and I've never had a problem. He always comes back with a little tie too! Recently, I found a flea on him and of course I freaked out and did everything I could to get rid of it so after a few Dawn baths I thought it was a good idea to get him a nice short haircut too. They did a great job, recommended me their flea bath too and they called and said they didn't find anything on him. They were really caring. As far as people saying they don't take bigger/pit mixes and everything, the salon is very small. It's definitely geared toward smaller dogs. They sell clothing too, which is adorable by the way. I got him a hoodie two years ago and he still has it. So I don't think they discriminate against breeds I just think they have a main focus on smaller dogs. Definitely recommend them!
I have been looking for a groomer for my dog since I moved from Colorado. I decided to give all my dog a try and they were so easy to set up an appointment and the location was close to where I live. The owner was super friendly was able to ask me questions and walk me through whatever all of her needed and I told him to do everything that needs to be done ha ha. I am really picky about the way my dog gets his haircut and they did an absolutely amazing job. His hair is fluffy and smells like heaven, his teeth are nice and pearly white, and they did a great job cutting around his eyes which is the most important thing to me. If you're looking for a location to get your dog groomed and be able to support local businesses this is definitely where to go. See pictures below for cuteness overload
Great, fast, and good price! I tried them on Saturday...I was able to get an appointment kinda last minute or the week of which I was grateful for. Very nice staff, clean and lovely shop! They confirmed what type of style and hair cut I wanted him to have. They paid attention to detail! Appointment was on time and my dog was not stuck there waiting all day Like at other groomers. My dog was cute, smelled wonderful, and was happy when I came back not scared and traumatized looking...I will be back for sure!
After many, many years of going to Petsmart, I was recommended by one of their own employees to try this location. LET ME SAY, BEST DECISION EVER. I went in today just to meet the owner & show her my puppy, right away she was able to groom him THE SAME DAY. I was beyond thankful for her to groom him the same especially with all the madness of COVID & me being in healthcare almost having very limit time to run errands. The whole experience was quick and smooth. Pookie, (my dog) was extremely happy afterwards & looked brand new. She fixed my quarantine hairball and turn him back to my little hyper ball of cuteness with a bandana too . So grateful & definitely will recommend to my fellow dog parents to take a visit. Did I mention he smell delicious too ?!? Best grooming experience, and will be bringing him back.
Terrible experience: Unfriendly service, TERRIBLE JOB, Rough handling of the pet, and to top it all Very Pricey. I honestly don't understand how this place has such good ratings. I mean, I can't emphasize enough how terrible the whole experience was. It's nothing personal. I don't know these people. It was my first time here. As a matter of fact, I didn't say anything while I was there, but after I left, I felt like it is only right to let others know the truth about what to expect from this place. I have a 9 year old small dog. So I've had 9 years of experience getting him groomed and I have to say, this is one of the worst Grooming jobs I've ever seen... besides all the other things I already mentioned that were wrong with this place. So Obviously, I will never bring my dog back and I honestly strongly suggest no one else does.
I've been taking my dog to get his haircut here for a couple of months. They are usually very cold and rude but whatever. The first time, they cut my dogs hair nicely. The second time, average. This time around, they hurt my dog. I took him to get his haircut and they called me back within an hour. They barely cut his hair and they gave him back to me with a red eye. Either they poked his eye or they got shampoo in it, it isn't okay. This place needs better customer service and it needs to be more careful. I wouldn't recommend this place.
I usually bring my girl to this groomer. There was one time I brought her to a different groomer and they ruined the hair on her ears (they were like Brillo pads), and knotted her body hair. When I brought her back to Oh My Dog, I was afraid they would have to shave all of the hair off her ears and body. Thankfully they were able to save her ears--they are soooo soft now. They did have to shave more than I wanted off her body, but they kept as much as they could. What I really appreciated was that they called me to let me know before they did anything I hadn't originally asked for. She smells soooooo good and is so soft. And they always put the cutest bows in her hair! Would definitely recommend!
Very cute place inside with lots of dog clothes. Very reasonable prices. They did a good job on my Yorkie. I'd go again. I must say that they put a barrette/ bow in her hair, and my pup usually takes her bow out by the end of the day of her appt but Here, she's had her bow in now for over a week, so they do a good Job of putting the bow on securely.
I just don't know where to start. First off, making the appointment was easy peasy. They had availability right away. I took them on a Saturday and As soon as I walked in the place was beautiful as they also sell doggie apparel and accessories. Marcos the guy at the front desk was pleasant, accommodating and Very personable and right away I knew my girls would be safe. He was informative and took his time to explain things to me. I took pictures of some of the cuts on their IG page that I wanted for my girls. When I left my girls were at ease and didn't seems scared at all. Guess they felt the same positive energy in the shop as I did. Marcos called me 30 minutes before the girls were done for me to come and pick them up. I was very surprised because it only about two hours for the two of them to Get groomed which was very surprising. But when I got there my dogs literally looked like show dogs. Marcos wife Ingrid outdid herself! My girls came out way better than the picture I showed them. They were absolutely beautiful and happy and smelled so good and felt so soft. Check out was fast and easy. I didn't know they didn't take cash on Saturdays but Marcos accommodated me and let me use a credit card. This place is the best. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else. We have finally found a grooming home not far from home, AFFORDABLE and one that doesn't take hours for the magic to happen. Thank you so much Ingrid and Marcos. We will see you all again on 6-8 weeks. Your work and customer service is epic.
Today was our third visit at Oh My Dog & we were greeted by Marcos. I was very impressed when he called my dog by his name, it caught me off guard, and made me feel even more comfortable with leaving my Pinto with them. The people here absolutely love their four legged friends. We briefly brainstormed a few grooming styles, he's knowledgeable & help guide you towards the goal of what would look best for your canines breed. It is by far the most contemporary and cleanist dog groomer I know, I travel 50 minutes round trip just for Oh My Dog. I recommend this place for your pooch!

First These people refuse to take responsibility and then after that the owner personally goes and hits me up and tells me he gonna be taking care of the medical bill and give me a free year of service as long as I delete all the reviews It's been a month since then and now the owner is ignoring my phone calls. Do not leave your dog with these people they do not take accountability for the actions of ther workers. At the same time they do not keep there word all the proof is in the pictures . Do yourself the favor and stay away. read more

Referred here by family member. Appointment was for 9am they took my dog at 9 am. They worked on her and made her look beautiful. The snow and wetness did a job on her this winter lol. Would recommend this place to anyone. The staff was super friendly and the clerk that took her in explained everything in detail as to what they were going to do. See ya in 6 weeks. read more

I'm going to start off by saying that I am completely content with my dogs haircut. Not being from Jersey and finally finding a credible groomer is so satisfying, especially if you're a avid supporter of dogs. I have a Scottish Terrier. I have STRUGGLED IMMENSELY with finding a groomer that can actually cut according to the breed standard. I told Marcos what I wanted and he relayed the information to his wife. I am beyond without words. I hope everyone gives them a chance. They're truly amazing. I found my pups forever groomer, at least while I'm still here. Thank you for everything! read more

This place is rediculous ! DONT GO HERE! They cuz my dog so bad he has an infection now! I dropped off my two babies and when I called for the price the guy said 45 each I get there then he Saids oh it's 50 eAch because we used a flea shampoo . First off it's not flea season and my dogs are home dogs I never take my dogs outside I live in a high rise condo w a balcony no need to take my dogs out . So I argued w him about it and he still insisted I pay the 100$ I come home and my poor baby is hurt he's cut and I feel it its swollen! Never again this guy is a jerk and so RUDE! read more

Took my long coat chihuahua for the first time here last week and I was very satisfied. They gave him the CUTEST trim and he smelled fantastic. It's been 6 days later and he still smells great! I took a star off because I felt like they could have cleaned his right ear and his teeth a little better but next time I will just mention this when I drop it off and I'm sure they will be accommodating. Their prices are GREAT compared to other groomers in the area. I only paid $45 for a wash, cut, nail trim, teeth cleaning and ear cleaning. My dog, Lucky, seemed perfectly fine when I picked him up. No signs of behavioral changes. I checked his body and I saw no nicks or cuts. I will definitely take my puppy back here, very happy with their service and pricing. read more
