I bought a wallet, 2 scarves, and a shirt. The next day I tried on the scarves and they were too short. I went to return the 2 scarves 3 days later and the sales girl told me she can only give me store credit. They could have told me this when I purchased the items. After arguing with her about their stupid policy for 15 minutes. I gave up and took my store credit. Sadly, I will never buy anything from them again. read more

I walked into the store yesterday (May 25, 2013) not knowing that it opened merely a week ago. I did know in the back of my mind that the designer wing of the Valley Fair mall is relatively new. I had an eye on a specific design of men's leather wallet that I saw at the San Francisco boutique but since that store is undergoing renovations, charges $.10 for a shopping bag, and charges higher sales tax, I try to avoid it at as much as I can. The store was somewhat quiet for a Saturday afternoon during Memorial Day weekend. All the better for me. I walked through the two rooms from the mall entrance to the back where the men's selection is located. The wallets and other leather goods were kind of neatly displayed in the glass cases. Taylor was the one who helped me and was really easy to work with. He's knowledgeable about the products and is very approachable/not intimidating. I was probably his smoothest transaction yesterday since I was in and out of the store with a spanking new wallet in less than 30 minutes. He was kind enough to grab me a glass of orange Pellegrino, which I gulped down quickly while he prepared the purchase. The only human error I noticed was that the authenticity card was marked 3-25-13 probably because he mixed up May with March. This Prada is much nicer in terms of staff although it doesn't have the nice carpet floors of San Francisco. read more

Hands down the best Prada boutique I have been to. Unlike the San Francisco location, the staff here is eager and excited to help. I came in and was helped by the fabulous Miguel. He was very patient with me and gave me a wonderful experience. After an hour and some champagne I decided on the perfect new bag and wallet. Very poor customer service I purchase shoes in Prada store, they put in the box the wrong shoes and now they will not refund me and give me only a store credit unheard of. It was almost impossible to reach a supervisor or manager to explain my issues and it also took them a while to call me back and of course they also ignoring my request and agree only to a store credit. This Prada store has one of the friendliest staffs. I had Susanne Bello help me when I came to shop. I was looking for a good work shoe as shoes are Prada's specialty. Susanne was extremely helpful and even helped me pick out a few of the latest Prada shirt, ties, and suits. I did not know Prada suits could look so good. When you come to the store, ask for Susanne, and she will take good care of you. Just beware of Prada's return policy as only store credit will be issued for refunds. So make sure you only buy things you want and need so that you can minimize the exchange and returns later. Happy shopping during holidays! read more

I've walked in here a few times to check out the various styles and colors of handbags and every single time, a different staff helped me, but they were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, they don't make the color in the size/style that I want so I'll have to keep hunting for a new handbag, but I'm hoping they'll surprise me with a call soon. read more

I have been to many high end boutiques and sometimes the service is wonderful in them and sometimes, not so much. Prada in Valley Fair, San Jose is amongst the wonderful. Everyone in the store was kind and attentive. They treat you like family there and it's a joy to visit. I have purchased a few things there recently and I have been extremely happy with the customer service and the items. Miguel, in particular, is wonderful. Long over due review. I purchased an Argilla colored Saffiano Lux from Prada while in Paris. I gave the bag a good eagle eye look over and had the Paris team pack it nicely for my carry on travels. Once I got home and went to use it, I noticed some scuffs and a stretched seam. Nothing huge but, dayum, I just bought it. I took it to Prada Valley Faire and Jeremie told me they didn't have it in the store but he would order it and call me. He did just that. A week later, he promptly exchanged my bag for a brand new one, no questions asked (not that he needed to, the bag was pristine other than the noted defects). All in all, a very pleasant and efficient experience. Love that even though purchased out of country, Prada and Jeremie stood behind their product. This is the way all luxury stores should operate. read more

This Prada store is the cream of the crop when it comes to customer service. The first time I stopped by was in June 2013. I was looking for a wallet and was met with great assistance from Sultana. Sultana is a very friendly and knowledgable sales associate. She truly wants what is best for you and does not hesitate to point you to a different brand if she believes they do it better. With that being said, I went back a year later in June 2014 to look for a messenger bag and Sultana remembered me instantly. I browsed around and she showed me a few options and I told her I would think about it. She gave me her personal number so I could text her things that I see online and she would check their in store stock for me. My most recent purchase from this store was a pair of Chelsea boots that I had saw online so I decided to go into the store to try them on. To my dismay, they didn't have it but Sultana gave me a few other pairs of shoes that would fit about the same. She said she found the boots in stock in NY and would have them ship it order so I could try on the exact pair before purchasing. Two weeks went by and I received a call from Sultana with some good and bad news. Bad news was that NY never shipped the shoes but the good news was because it was on final sale for 50% off. The only risk I had was that because it was a final sale, I had to commit to buying before they would be able to ship. I decided to put my faith in Sultana's expertise and her suggestion on what size I should get. I received the shoe a week later and they fit perfectly! I'm so glad I decided to trust Sultana. If you are looking to treat yourself or someone else to something special, this is the place to go! You won't regret it. read more

After doing a lot of research online to decide on a handbag, I went into the store to see it in person. Honestly I was a little hesitant about dealing with rude salespeople but Tina was just awesome! She showed me a few purses in the line I was considering and helped me select the appropriate color. She put it on hold while I mulled things over and I was back the next day. I'm a fool for Prada. I've saved and saved for my grad gift and so glad I ended up getting a Prada at VF store. The store is very chic and spacious. It oozes sophistication and the bags are nicely displayed. Aside from all that-my SA Miguel is 100% sparka-delightful. I have to give him his props. He has a great eye for style, a witty conversationalist and I felt he gave me his undivided attention. There were a few other customers walking about and he could have easily said "i'll be right back" b/c I was taking my sweet time at making my decision. I even grabbed lunch and and prayed before making my decision. My first new Prada purchase is a gorgey "pop statement piece". I was interesting polling the 4 SA's for their opinion on which bag to choose. I knew where I was headed and Miguel had a big impact on that. Get this.. Just a few days ago Miguel called to ask how I'm enjoying my bag. I will be back again after I make more money! read more

Even though I came a few days later to exchange the color of the wallet, the rep was very helpful. Definitely did not feel the intimidation at all. My husband wanted to buy me a Chanel bag for my birthday. After being completely ignored at two different Chanel counters, we were over it. I had seen a specific Prada bag on another store site, and LOVED it, but it was too small. On a whim, I checked the Prada site and was thrilled to find that they make it in a larger size. I called this store, and spoke to Dylan. He could NOT have been nicer. He checked stock on the bag and a few other versions of it. I was so excited to go in and check them out. We were greeted and acknowledged by everyone as soon as we walked in. Semi helped us, and brought out the bags I was interested in. She was SO fun to work with. It wasn't just shopping, it was an experience. We had a great, relaxed and fun time shopping. I walked out with a bag i LOVE and is a total show stopper. don't shop here! I am usually a very understanding person. I went to this store on my birthday because I had my heart set on buying a crossbody and wallet or some sort of small leather good with the adorable elephant print on it. I went in there and was helped shortly after my arrival. a gentleman helped me order the crossbody I had desired however, he said that anything with an elephant was sold out. Wanting some sort of leather good to go into my crossbody I had just ordered, I settled for a small wallet. I went online the very that evening and see that items with the elephant pattern are actually available online. I had done an online order and then looked for my receipt to take back the wallet, unused and purchased two days ago. The receipt was wrapped in this tiny piece of paper that had the policy in a blur pasted on it. It says that items unused and in the original packaging could only be brought back for store credit or exchange. Me, like other customers that have also written reviews, were not told this! I contacted them and explained my situation and they said that they will have a manager call me back, but that the policy says that there are absolutely no returns. The manager calls me back and says that she will not take it back and that I signed a piece of paper stating that I know the return policy. The sales associate just said where I needed to sign. Naturally I sign because I was using a credit card which I would need to sign for. I was nit alone when I was shopping here and everyone I was with was sitting at the counter with me while paying and also, never remember anything about them telling me the sale is non-refundable. The manager who I spoke to had told me that she would transfer the item I wanted into the store to do an exchange for what I had already had but THAT I NEEDED TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICES TO RETURN THE ITEM I BOUGHT FROM ONLINE! So I could return things from online, but not in the store. this is the same company so why is the policy different!? She then proceeded to tell me that she and her sales associates don't check online everyday to see what they have restocked. Now that is just a lazy sales associate then. I am sure that the sales associate was just dying for a sale to get his commission. I would really love to return everything that i purchased from this store because I am so horrified by the poor customer service( if you could even call it that) I have received. THIS PEOPLE AT STORE ARE JUST HUNGRY FOR COMISSION AND DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HAVING REPEAT CUSTOMERS! read more

I am not a Prada gal though I have their cutesy envelope lady wallet and perfume. But I love their men's products. Very nice quality, indeed! I visited their store to get some gifts and was assisted by an Asian gal, Celine, and a slim, Caucasian man. Though the male associate is more polished, I found him slightly off putting at the end of my transaction. Nevertheless, I got what I wanted and pretty happy with my purchases! Oh, just wanted to say something nice about Celine: very friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful, making my shopping experience pleasant!! The staff is helpful but I was disappointed to see that many of the shoes are made in Vietnam. For the price that Prada costs I would expect them to be made in Italy. The store overall looks pretty nice and I think the location is good too. read more

There's a section in Valley Fair with all the snooty designer brands : Louis Vuitton, Mui Mui, Burberry, Prada. Louis Vuitton was always an intimidating place because most of the sales staff either ignore you or glare at your upon entering. Being asian, juicy couture doesn't seem to help anyone unless you're white. I will say Burberry has good, attentive service where the staff addresses everyone. But Prada tops the best Luxury store experience. I entered the store with my usual lazy day attire--shorts and top. And even I was surprised I was greeted. My sales associate was Allie, there were two other male associates who were also very accommodating and helpful without being pushy, condescending, or impatient. Even the security guard was helpful. To top it off, they served us drinks! (How freaking thoughtful.) Even though the store was nearly closing, they assured us to still take our time whether we purchase anything or not! What an awesome team to add to Valley Fair. Finally a High End Luxury store without the stick-up-their-ass service. read more
