Shopping experience was not great. There was not enough personnel so employees just handed you the item you were interested and did not provide any info-no price, no details, no model info. They try to sell me a display item claiming that it was the last one which was a lie. Purchased a black purse and I'm not too pleased with quality of purse it looks like my moms cheap purse. So my mom bought a gift for my wife. The shoes ended up being a size large. No big deal just exchange them, but the shoes were final sale. We went to the outlets to see if Prada could do anything about the situation. At first Krystal tried to help us and explained the policy of the store. I asked to speak with a manager. A little time later Kim approached me. She was the store manager. I explained to her the situation and said that if there was anything she could do it would make a person very happy and that the shoes would do their job by being worn and shown off versus going into a closet and never seeing the light of day? She understood the logic behind what i was saying and agreed to exchange the same shoes in a smaller size. Both Kim and Krystal went above and beyond what I was expecting. This store has both Prada and Mui Mui. I went on October 30th and a sweet gentleman (didn't get his name, DARN! Was Caucasian with light brown hair and tall) helped me pick out a perfect pair of Mui Mui flats. Not sure if they work off commission here, but he wasn't pushy at all and gave his honest opinions on the shoes- good OR bad. I definitely will be back to this location. Staff was friendly.. it even got a little busy and the sales associates were customer servicing in a timely manner. read more

I was informed that it is illegal and they are merely trying to escape the merchant fees that the store has to pay every time a card is slid! And legally, they cannot decline an individual if a customer wants to slide their card a million times!!! I was appalled. We're talking about prada here. They have the gall to be worried about a measly fee when I'm trying to buy a $1200 purse?! Needless, to say I went back to buy my purse and surprise surprise... it went through despite them telling me that they can only slide a card once! I lied and told them it was a different card at first, and informed them that they had slid the same card from the previous transaction and it went through. I felt like being a b*tch and shoving it in their face. Lastly, I was not informed that I could not step outside to make a phone call when they put my item on "hold." Because when I went back to pay for it they had given MY purse to another guest who happened to be paying the same time I was. I had a heated argument with the cashiers... and they admitted they were at wrong. That was the least they could do. The merchandise is great but the attitude you get from some of the staff unnecessary. As you walk in the greater looks down at you as though you don't belong. I'm sorry to be a real, but let me remind you that I'm shopping at Prada which is making your minimum wage salary. Greeters should be more welcoming to guests. You might have good experience if you are not going to interact with them after you pay for it. The attitude you get from some of the staff is really bad. If you need to discuss an item you've just bought minutes ago you may have a very different experience. Strongly advise to keep your wallet closed until you are 100% sure you are ok to throwaway the money you are going to pay for the item. Otherwise, you are very likely looking for headache. Please also remember your credit card company may be your last line of defense, call them up to ask them handle any bite and switch situation. The customer service is poor when it comes to return or exchange (especially if you only see any defect after you bought the item. My wife bought a Prada brand wallet and was told the wallet is not refundable after we paid for the wallet (because there is a defect inside the wallet, which we didn't see before buying). Even my wife decided to return right away (because there is no same style ones to exchange), the sales associate refuse for a refund and said return it's for store credit only. We finally find some other replacement to use up the store credit, but we will not jump on any item quickly at this store anymore. read more

I just bought some very expensive shoes and they have turned out to be a nightmare in that they are very painful to wear. I have only used them indoors and tried to take them back, but they have said that once you step outside of the store they will not allow a refund. What!? My wife purchased a Prada purse for around $1000 at the Prada Outlet Store in Cabazon. The color of the leather started fading and she contacted Prada USA, which asked for a proof of purchase to take action. However, this outlet store's staff refused to provide my wife with this proof and did not know the warranty regulations of Prada. Moreover, the staff could not provide a proof that the purse they sold to my wife is an original Prada and she would have to go to a Retail Store not an outlet to receive this proof.The staff seemed very unprofessional and unfriendly after purchasing an item. So, today was the first time I had visited the Prada outlet. And it just might be my last. The selection of handbags (which is what my heart lusted for today) was mediocre. They had a few leather ones, but most were that ugly nylon. My thought is if I'm gonna drop a couple of hundred on nylon, I might as well drop $150 on a Tokidoki bag that I'll use 'til it cries "Have mercy!" than $400+ on a nylon bag that has "Prada" on it. There are tons of shoes and other things, from what I could see. Like I said, I just wanted to look at purses, and there wasn't much to look at! Thumbs down! Im not to sure why there are any negative reviews about this place. Walking in I was greeted by a sweet lady behind the register. The store was very clean and plenty of merchandise so that i could find what i was looking for. Several people offered assistance as i shopped. One gentlemen was more than helpful and did not make me feel pressured tp buy which i think is important. Anyways I have a brand new bag that im very happy with and will be returning in the future! Honestly, unless you look rich or if you're a rich Chinese/Middle Eastern tourist, the staff wouldn't even ask if you need assistance. However, I keep on coming back because I usually get lucky finding great shoes at dramatically reduced prices. The clothing collection is pretty sad as they are all clothes from 2 seasons ago. Some clothes are also made specifically for the outlet as they have these tacky Prada logos that looks like they were made in a sweatshop. As a side tip, probably 70% of the clothes and shoes are made in China/Vietnam/Turkey, but I don't really care because they are the exact same quality as the other "Made in Italy" Prada pieces that I own. read more

Worst. Service. Ever. Seriously. We waited 45 minutes for a pair of slides. The workers are lazy and deluded and honestly racist as they helped every one out aside from Asians. The staff are even rude to their own Asian employees, treating them like dogs and not letting them handle new customers, instead, forcing them to help their own existing customers. This is California, shame on your discrimination. Yes, I'm looking at you shoe guy and shoe lady. (You both desperately need a shower, btw, is there no hygiene etiquette?) Also, old cashier lady with the infinite wrinkles and disappearing hairline, don't get mad just because we asked if the shoes were new. You were very rude and I don't recommend anyone coming here to purchase the merchandise as they try and pass off a "new pair of shoes" for the floor samples. So stop lying to your customers, you know, the reason why you guys have a job in the first place. I was in the Prada store on Saturday in Cabazon CA and spent over $800 in purchases. an associate accidentally, place an extra shoes in my bag and I left the store. I continued to shop for a few more hours in other stores until around lunch time. In walking to have lunch, the same associate approached me and suggested that there was a extra shoe in one of my bags that was placed on accident. before I could even check my bags the associate began to pull my bags away from me. I told her what she is doing is inappropriate and she continued to drag the bag that was tied to my arm. I began to explain that I was a minority, a Engineer and that's when the lady walked back to her store. I then went into the store and requested an apology. The manager on staff apologized and suggested that they would make amends. I requested that the associate apologize then, and they told me she had left for lunch. I then received a call from the manager, apologizing.. I told them I want the associate to apologize.. and a gift for the terrible experience I had (this was me trying to be nice). The associate then called an apologized, and the Director of the store (called from New York area code) called and offered me a 30% discount on my next purchase. Now, I hold a masters degree in MIS from the university of Arizona and work for a 18 billion dollar corporation. The level of insult that I have experienced from Prada is unlike anything I have experienced before. I know for a fact that the actions were motivated by me being a young Black American.. I feel strongly that if I was a older white male this would not have happened to begin with, and the corrective actions would have been different. I was assaulted by this associate, and I am contemplating legal actions. LET ME BE CLEAR.. Prada need to have someone contact me as soon as possible or my next step is contact an attorney for damages. read more

When we were in the store, one of the tassles from one of the shoes was bent up I believe to detract from the other pair misisng the A. I came here over the holiday weekend on a mid-afternoon day and the store was in complete chaos. Bags, shoes, accessories thrown around everywhere and there were a million people shopping, browsing and waiting in line. I must say that the selection of items are not bad, for an outlet- and compared to some of the other designers neighbors. The prices are still expensive, and the merchandise is outdated, at least 2+ seasons old. Let's just say if you are looking for a specific killer black handbag, you probably won't find it here. I did see a lot of the nylon bags, purple, yellow, green leather bags that people don't normally splurge retail on. They had a good selection of pumps, but it was still expensive $395 was the most inexpensive I saw. I can find better deals at Off Saks, Bluefly or the Rack on a blue moon. Miu miu selection was a little sad, just nylon totes and two pairs of pumps that were still overpriced. Prada apparel looked beautiful, but I didn't focus too much on that section. I found a cute wallet that I liked, but the line was sooo long and I just couldn't take it anymore in there. read more

Found exactly what I was looking for! I saw the prade motorcycle helmet keychain online for nearly $150, I was trying to flare up my keys with something stylish. Found it there for $46, yeah I know it's a little expensive for a measely keychain, but I'm into that kind of stuff and I can afford it. Anyway, I chose to buy an an item and went to the counter to pay, and the blonde sales woman with the eastern european accent picked up a pencil and wrote something on the price tag. She rang it up with tax and I paid. After I left the store I said "the tax rate in the desert must be really high." I checked my receipt and the price tag and saw that she penciled in the number 8 over the number 3 very heavily and I was charged $50 extra. I just want to warn everyone that I bought a hand bag here and was very disappointed. The hand bag I bought from this outlet was made in china. Beware of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Prada has outsource some of its product to china now. For a prestige brand having a stigma of being made in china just makes my bag less valuable in my opinion. Horrible experience' seem's like store management (Kim) and later later known to me as the Department manager (Jamie) both are a joke, not only did they not allow me to exchange my handbag but lied about my handbag being made in Italy. The bag was made in Romania' along with my cheap shirt made in China. People take your money somewhere else obviously all the Products sold here are made specifically for an outlet store.
