Horrible customer service! No try on rooms? So I go in this place to look for some pants, When I find three different styles that might fit me, I'm looking for the fitting rooms, I am informed by a person on the floor, then by a manager that they are not allowing people to go into trying rooms because there are too many boxes in the hallways. When I asked the young man that acted as a manager as to how am I supposed to buy pants, he said you should know what you want. I informed him that I lost some weight currently and do not know, he says you should try the elbow method. Then I ask them if there is a return period, because I'm willing to buy all of them and try them on at home, the only thing they will do is exchange or give you store credit, no refunds. BOSS RULES!!! For guys who have an athletic build (chest/shoulders +42 in.& waist -33 in.) Hugo Boss's business suits are the quintessential fit, which is why many professional athletes wear this brand. One of the sucky parts about working as a Consultant is that you have to often times do the "business clothes" thing. Truth be told, I'm happier in my favorite Oakley board-shorts without a shirt. When trying to score signings and deals though, if you dress like a schmuck, you're pretty much treated like one. One should also stick with the brands/designers that fit one's body type the best. For me, it's Hugo all the way for biz clothes. When I first moved to SoCal, I was doing the 2+ hour drive from La Costa to the HB store at the Beverly Center. Then the Guardian Angels of saving money informed me that there was a Hugo Boss outlet store in Palm Springs, only about 1 hour away. This store is HUGE and stocks most of Boss's labels: Black, Selection, Orange, Green, and Hugo. When they have a sale the prices are AMAZING!!! You can score two suits and much more for the price you would pay for one suit at Nordys. The only downside to this place is that it's about 95% men's stuff, even though HB makes a women's line. Oh well, there's Prada, Ferragamo, YSL, Dior, D&G, Tod's, etc within steps of the HB Outlet for the female shoppers in your group! read more

Yelp Challenge 2016: 05/365 Hugo Boss is one of my favorite clothing lines. It's not the cheapest, not the most pricey, and just perfect. The suits are amazing! They fit real nice, very comfortable, thin weaving so in the summer it isn't over-bearing, and with heavy overcoat that was purchased for $250ish (vs. $499+), it will compliment all suits during the winter except the Zegna wool one. Boss' clothing isn't ultra slim, tight fit like Boss' contemporaries. I prefer loose fit.. The service was decent at the time of my visit. It was a madhouse so I am sure the service is much better. Although... Some of the suits are cheaper at the Rack or Neeman Marcus! And I wish Boss suits were sold separately. read more

I agree that this outlet has terrific sales on men's clothing. I found some really nice polos and dress shirts for good prices for my bf. For women's clothing, eh...not much and not my style. The people who work here need some cheering up! I needed help with determining the price for something (because there was no tag), and the girl sorting through the dress shirts directed me to the registers, where there were freaking long lines. If you're sorting through the section of clothes where I'm looking at, you should know what kind of products you're selling and how much they are. I wasn't about to wait in that long line just to ask how much the shirt was. The lady at the fitting rooms was the only one helpful enough to point out where the sales were, but at the same time really preoccupied with folding a pile of dress shirts. At the check out line, when I did ask for the price, the lady sounded so bored, like she had a long day and wanted to get out of there. read more

Excellent savings to be had at the store. It's extremely impressive to see multilingual sales staff as well. I think the only downfall to the store is the size and service. It's quite small, so it is a bit crammed. Service wise, there are quite a few reps, but they just seem to be lacking, perhaps because they're just busy folding stuff from the high traffic. Needless to say, I shop at HB a lot, and this is probably the worst service i've experienced at a store, but it's still much better than other places. So in the end, it's worth a visit due to the discounts, but it's a bit of a rummage with less of a service experience. read more

This time we were helped by a slender Filipina-looking woman whom I believe is "Shawn". She was helpful in locating items in the back for trousers and shirts my wife picked out for me. Don't let the first review fool you, this store doesn't sell suit separates. While you may find 42/33 combos you will never find 46R 34W (my measurements). I came here with false hopes after reading Richard T.'s review way back in 2010, but I didn't do my due diligence. I didn't scrutinize his review thoroughly. He didn't mention anything about suit separates and that's definitely not his fault. But if you have a slightly larger athletic build, don't expect to find a suit to fit your needs here. On the positive side, they sell items from nearly all of their lines; you won't find the Selection line here. That line is reserved for the high end stores located in high end promenades. I stopped being a fan of Boss not too long ago. And here's why: Hugo Boss was a member of the Nazi party. The Boss family were fervent Hitler supporters. Holy moly! So many selections of classic Hugo Boss polos to choose from. Got a really nice, in season, polo and a pair of sneakers as a gift for my husband from here and he loved both! The polo was 40% off original price and the sneakers were 20% off an already marked down price. What a steal! My girl Maritza hooked it up with her suggestions and beautiful packaging, perfect and ready to gift. Overall I give this 4 stars, just because of the prices. Out the door the cost of a Hugo Boss suit for me was $485, ya that is kinda pricey for a suit but this is a hot, name brand, sharp looking suit. If your athletic, Hugo Boss is your store. For a friends wedding, sure you can get a cheaper suit elsewhere, but for a job interview you want to look detailed and sharp so you definitely want a high quality suit. A decent suit at 3-Day suit brokers would be $250-350, so really it is not that much more for a super-high quality suit. Also Men's Warehouse is too expensive and pricey- they claim they are cheap but really aren't. Lets be honest, if you went to the Beverly Center in BH it would cost $800-1000 for the same suit. I like this store the staff knew their stuff; I kinda got the feeling some staff knew the industry, trends and were extremely knowledgeable and some were simply way too new and "green". A suit is a once every two year investment for most folks, lets make sure to hire staff that really knows suit and can help customers. Its not a cheap investment. read more

The best way to find a classic basic Hugo Boss "Boss Black" suit for a 40% off list price would be at this outlet. I came in looking for a solid black color but the Manager offered me to go with a charcoal instead being the 'current' color. He added that all of Boss catalogs now feature charcoal instead of the black color. Didnt care about that but i havent got a grey suit so i went for charcoal. I also opted for a US cut instead of the fitted European cut for more comfort. Not to mention to allow a bit of 'expansion' in the future. $457 incl tax can't be beat by any Hugo Boss retailer in the LA area. This is for their customer service. I was in the store for more than 30mins. I was looking for sizes and the nearby SAs, who were only 2ft away from me, simply ignored me and continued to chat among themselves. They didn't want to help me because they thought I was a tourist from China and speaks no English. How did I know? An American gentleman walked in and one of the SAs immediately walked up to him and greeted him. Oh and uh they do have a Chinese SA who works there. The other SAs just stood around and watched him making all the sales. They weren't very nice to the Chinese SA (jealousy maybe?). Anyway, this place is a disappointment. read more
