So I called her back to ask what the return policy is and if I can return them at any Guess since we live over 1 1/2 hrs away. She told me it can be returned within 30 days, but only at Guess outlet locations. Understood, but not convenient since again, I don't have locations near me. So I went to the cashier to purchase double of a few items with the intent to return whichever didn't fit. I asked if she could verify any locations near me that would accept the return. I also asked her why their fitting rooms were closed to which she said "because they're too busy." This is when I couldn't hold me frustration anymore. I've worked in retail for years, I get what busy is and I'm always empathetic to those in retail for this reason. But, this is causing them to lose sales! (This happened to me prior, but that was several months ago and they said it was for covid reasons then). When your manager is running his/her sales reports, makes sure he/she is aware that your fitting rooms are closed due to the inconvenience of "working too hard" on the days that bring in the most revenue. I even offered to put my own items away! I ended up not purchasing anything due to the frustration and inconvenience. If it's SO busy, then just open 1-3 rooms at a time. Limit the amount of items someone can take in. Easy solutions that won't affect revenue!
