PPS was assigned by home owner insurance to address a leaking pipe under a bathroom cabinet sink. Plumber arrived and inspected leak through the existing access/opening in wall. However indicated I/homeowner need to remove the entire cabinet and countertop to provide access for PPS the repair the leaking pipe and cabinet/countertop removal was not part of their service. PPS Plumber called for another PPS plumber to join him. Second plumber provided rerouting or repiping option and cost only and not a localized repair. PPS submitted ONLY rerouting and repiping option in their report to the home warranty company and not the option to locally repair the leaking pipe. FYI, rerouting or repiping is not covered by home owners insurance. I asked Home warranty company to contact PPS to verify/confirm the locally repairing option, yet PPS refused to acknowledge what they had told me/homeowner earlier. I reached out to two other plumbing companies to provide repair and out of curiosity, rerouting and repiping cost for me. Their prices categorically were much much less than PPS pricing. I hired one plumbing company and they locally repaired the leaking pipe under the sink, without needing to remove the cabinet or even increasing the opening in the wall. There is no Professional integrity at PPS and I would NOT recommend them. read more

I would never use this business again. They are not nice and just awful to deal with. I literally called over 50x before getting through, and I swear it felt like they just wanted to hang up on me. Had a leak and contacted a different plumber that charged me for a leak detection that just ended up trying to sell me on either a reroute or repipe. Contacted other repipe companies to get competing quotes which happened to be less than the first company but my dad uses PPS so I gave them a call. They were very helpful and informative over the phone and scheduled for them to come out to take a look. Unlike the first plumber, they actually found exactly where it was and gave me multiple options, all of which were more reasonable than the others I had gotten quotes from. We eventually went with the option that was less expensive than either a reroute or repipe (for now until we decide to repipe and most likely will end up using PPS). During their "so called" repair they: cracked a shower handle, chipped the kitchen sink, broke the kitchen faucet, sprayed a chemical when trying to fix the sink which pitted the brand new faucet, installed wrong parts which contributed to ~20k of later damage. When we called about these they claimed they never installed the wrong parts but their worker said they did. Also they were very rude and made things up.. I'll never deal with them again. I have been a loyal customer for many years. I had a running toilet and had the entire tank parts replaced by PPS plumbing. Several times water would not stop running to fill the tank, so asked for a call back and noted that the flapper valve was not sealing properly. I was told that I'd have to pay for a return visit ($75.00 min) and would most likely need to replace the toilet, I was also told that they only install top of the line parts so that couldn't be the issue. I said no thank you to paying for another service call and ended the insulting conversation. I purchased and installed a replacement flapper($5). Problem solved! It is too bad a loyal customer was lost over a $2 part they installed that did not do the job properly , not the top of the line part as I was told. I hired Steve and PPS Plumbing for one of my homes and felt they did a great job. Figured I'd use them again for another property and felt like I hired a completely different company and Owner. Steve came out to quote me on the finish plumbing work after the re-pipe job was done and then left us hanging when we needed the work done. He later text me with some crazy irrelevant verbiage which left my wife and I scratching our heads wondering what in the world happened. PPS came out to repair 2 sink stoppers and a "seeping" toilet. The sink stoppers were fine, but the toilet seeped again the first time I flushed it. I immediately called. They set up 3 visits to come fix it, and no-showed all three times. I asked for a refund and they were very rude to me. They told me they would call "when they were in the area" because the job was too small. 8 weeks later, after no phone call, I hired a competent plumber to come fix it. Today PPS came out to do a repipe for me. I have 2700 sq foot house with 4 bathrooms and all the trimmings... Steve the owner said they would start at 8 and be out by 3-4pm. I wasn't sure how that was going to work as I imagined only a few guys working the job. Well they showed up with 10-12 guys and just started going... I was shocked at how fast the progressed. They guys were all very nice and professional and clearly had a lot if experience.. anyway they were done on time and did a great job. No issues and they were very clean. The family is super happy with all the new fixtures and better water pressure and I'm super happy all of that ancient galvanized pipe is gone. I can't say enough about PPS Plumbing! Scheduled an appointment to fix my drains that are running slow- the soonest appointment was 3 days- scheduled the appointment took the day off without pay- I get a call at 8:20am the day of appointment telling me they needed to cancel- some part broke- along with slow drains are really not their specialty and would suggest I call another service- without looking at my drainage problem the receptionist said I really need a rotor router co- and have someone that she'll refer- seriously- they could have called me the night before- the receptionist said they don't call after business hours......and then referring another more expensive service without diagnosis the problem- possibly liquid drain fluid could work- in the end business must be so good taking care of customers come last- I used this service during the past 4 years- and obviously they could careless- read more

The company came as a recommendation from a trusted source but I will never use PPS again. Steve proceeded to say "F**k you" at the end of our phone call when all I wanted to do was discuss payment terms for a job that they initially did not complete which caused a leak in our home when we were away on vacation. I had a water dripping down the ceiling, near a fire sprinkler head. Called PPS and sent them a picture (Marissa was very helpful in coordinating this). Steve called back within an hour and came over. Clean work set up. Identified problem as pin hole leak in plumbing line. Showed us the corroded pipe and replaced with pex. Living in an older home for 20 years, we had to systematically replace every valve, fixture, toilet and appliance in the place ... then eventually do a complete re-pipe because of the incessant slab leaks. The short of it: * Courteous, prompt, and helpful from the dispatch on the phone to the plumber who comes to your home. * Friendly at the home no matter how loud Sesame Street is and how annoying your children (or you!) can be! * I'm no savant on the economics of plumbing but their prices ($125 for a faucet, $100 for toilet install) seem very reasonable to me. * Ryan was thorough and stayed to help answer any questions I had. He could not have been more friendly. The dispatch told me he would call sometime between 7:15 to 8am--he called at 7:15 on the dot and was here less than an hour later. * The dispatch person I spoke to was very knowledgable. She saved me at least one trip to the Home Depot. Conclusion: With the possible exception of installing one of those toilets that can flush two dozen golf balls, most people don't really look forward to needing to call the plumber. However when, not if (I have three kids after all), I need plumbing help, I'm looking no farther than PPS. read more
