I called John because my kitchen sink was not draining properly. He had done an excellent job replacing our pipes several years ago. John explained that it was the drain line not the water line that was the issue. Nathan came out promptly on the day scheduled. He looked at my sink and said it was draining properly but that I needed to use my garbage disposal more frequently so food did not get stuck and slow down the sink draining. So grateful for these guys. We had used them last year for the first time due to a garbage disposal back up. They fixed it efficiently for a reasonable price. Last night on a Sunday evening we noticed water seeping out into the garden and bubbling up from the ground. My partner has fixed sprinkler systems many times so he got to work digging. At one point so much water started coming up from the ground that we had a mini moat at the side of the house. He left a message for Pinedo plumbing services and got an immediate response that they would come out this morning - Monday. I was panicking, thinking it would be a main line break and imagining a high price repair. The plumber pressure tested the line right then and there as part of the free quote process and confirmed it was indeed the sprinkler system. We have drought tolerant plants, so made the decision to cap the old sprinkler system rather than dig up the whole garden, looking for holes. The guys were able to do that, clean up the remaining pipes and also attach a new spigot as the old one was leaking. I also had them check and clean out another pipe that I wanted cleaned for peace of mind. Quoted me almost $1200 to redirect an existing dryer vent less than 10-ft from the dryer into a house with a raised foundation (the crawl space entrance was also less than 10-ft from the dryer). If you use these guys, get multiple bids. This job should cost $150-$300 at most. When I asked the owner about the high price, he ghosted me. Response to Business Owner: You did NOT send me an email explaining anything. All you sent was the $1200 estimate. The job did not require you to penetrate the subfloor. All that was required was for you to drill a new exhaust port and connect the existing line. This was known to you when you submitted the bid. I hired a handyman to drill a single hole and connect it. It cost me $150 read more
