Rodriguez's core values include: * Helping and serving the community * The three wins: employee, customer, and business * Work-life balance for employees * Putting others first My Review: I contacted Power Pro Plumbing based solely on the advertising on your radio station. This is my review that I have posted on YELP. I am not happy with them. My husband & I reside in Orange County, CA. I used PowerPro Plumbing because I hear their radio ads on "The Fish 95.9". We used them for a re-pipe job in early 2024. We were fairly happy with the re-pipe price & the job. Efren and his crew did a good job (cross or fingers & toes at this point). There was 1 minor issue with the re-pipe. Efren came back & took care of it quickly. All has been well until recently. We had the need to call them again when our AC was having issues in July 2024. A guy came out to take a look as a 2nd opinion for our situation. We liked what he said & decided to go with PowerPro Plumbing again. We were instructed that the issue was our condenser (100%). It was working irregularly & tripping the breaker. He did say that there was a coolant leak at the TXV (Thermal Expansion Valve) as well & I opted to hold off on that issue. He never mentioned the coil, at all. The workers came out with a condenser that was way bigger than the space allowed. Not sure how that happened when the guy who was assessing the situation & sold the job saw the old unit & the space we had. PowerPro Plumbing was able to swap it with a unit that fit the space with no problem. All was going well until our regular AC maintenance appointment, a week later, brought up some critical issues with the condenser install. Our AC #'s were fluctuating too much. After asking us a series of questions, it was determined that the coolant lines were not flushed properly & thus resulted in our system being corrupted with 2 types of coolant that could result in a lot of damage. Apparently, the old type of coolant does not play nice with the new coolant & the TXV. Also a filter dryer was installed outside by the condenser that should have been installed inside in the AC/Heater cabinet. We were also made aware by 2 other AC companies that a permit should have been pulled for the condenser job & was not. We got to thinking that a permit should have been pulled for the re-pipe job & was not. Our main concern was the volatile nature of the 2 different coolant & permit issues, so we called to see if we could get the situation rectified. We called several times & finally got a call back. Do you think they wanted to help us rectify the situation of the 2 types of coolant or permit issues? No. They got their $5k, wanted to keep it & instead decided to throw it back at us and stand on a lie & tell us that a permit was not needed, because it is way too costly to get one after the fact. They just plain ignored the duel coolant issue all together. A permit was needed for both the condenser & the re-pipe jobs. They knew it & they decided not to do it. Why? I don't know. They the cost to do it properly was more than they were willing to do. The cheapest fix for them was a little white lie. My husband & I had to hire another AC company that was willing and able to work with our situation. They assessed that we did not have to replace the brand new PowerPro Plumbing condenser (YAY!), but needed to cut, replace, & re-solder the corrupted coper coolant lines that PowerPro Plumbing supposedly did, re-install the filter dryer inside (where it should be). We are now installing a new coil unit (which really needed to be done & if PowerPro Plumbing were honest & explained the whole AC situation, they would have gotten the job, but instead decided, made choices, & were not interested in helping us work through our AC situation. Shame on PowerPro Plumbing. I know it is not the CEO's Raul Rodriguez's (who sees his business first and foremost as a vehicle for making life better for everyone they encounter, from customers to employees.) fault directly, but companies are a reflection of the people under them; and the people they hire should know what they are doing & adhere to the CEO's core values: Helping and serving the community (Don't know), three wins: employee (not great with us), customer (not great with us), and business (not great with us), work-life balance for employees (Don't know), putting others first (not great with us). 2018-04-04 to 2018-04-05 We had what appeared to be a slow leak in our sprinkler system. After digging the area where water was seeping up found that a PVC connector was spewing water. I needed help right away as there wasn't a shut off that I could find other than the street meter main shut off. Did a search on plumbers in the area and ended up calling Power Pro Plumbing because they picked up the phone (I called two other plumbers and no answer). Of course I did my Yelp review look up and they seemed to have positive responses. Brandon D. came out and immediately assessed the problem. At first he tried replacing the PVC joint, but it immediately blew out. He tried several times to repair the problem. Nothing held. He said the pressure from the main was just too great. A more detailed investigation found that a prior owner had tapped into the main going to the house before the house shut off and used PVC to connect the galvanized street main to the copper house plumbing. The PVC was now failing because of the water pressure. Called in someone to give an estimate because this had now become a very serious issue. Evidently you are not allowed to connect copper to galvanize and PVC was not an option as it was failing. Ended up we had to replace the entire main from the meter to the house. This job was going to be very expensive. Worked with Michael and he gave me the best price he could. Very expensive but no real other alternative. Brandon stayed with us the entire time to do the majority of the work. A couple of specialists came in to do the drilling under the driveway to the meter. But other than that, Brandon did all the work. Digging, connecting the new main to the house and re-connecting the sprinkler system back correctly. He was always very pleasant and had a very positive attitude. I have never had a plumber as friendly and who really enjoyed his job. He took time to answer all our questions and worked late into the night to complete the job. Our constant questions no doubt slowed him down, but he would always stop what he was doing and politely addressed every concern we had. A very pleasant person to have doing the work. A gentle giant of a man that never complained about anything and had a smile at all times. After he completed the job, Brandon made sure everything was working inside and outside the house. We had a minor issue with one of our faucets and he quickly checked it and told us how to correct it. He was genuinely concerned that we were okay with all that happened and that it was done to our satisfaction. When he came inside the house he actually changed to clean clothes and wore soft booties so he would be clean and not mark our hardwood floors. That was greatly appreciated. I don't know if all the Power Pro technicians are as friendly and open as Brandon, but he is definitely a true asset to them and a fine representative. The cost of the project was very very painful, but Brandon made it a bit easier to bear. Very pleased with his work and Power Pro. Follow up 2018-04-06: A pressure valve was put on during the installation of the new main to protect our household pipes. Overnight, the pressure seemed very low when we took a shower. When the technician, Brandon D. finished that night, the pressure seemed acceptable, but it definitely declined later that night. Next day I put a pressure meter on and it was showing about 20 psi at the outside faucets. Called Power Pro to have them check it out. They said they would send Brandon back to check it out before 2 PM as he was on another job (called around 10 AM). Brandon showed up before noon. He checked the pressure and it was low. He made an adjustment to the pressure valve and the pressure started to increase. It was finally set to just under 80 psi. Brandon was very apologetic about the inconvenience it had caused. He explained that air inside the lines probably gave the false pressure levels we had gotten earlier. It was definitely still sputtering a bit in the kitchen and bathrooms. After the adjustment the pressure is now fine and appears to be the same as before the water main replacement. Again Brandon was very positive and friendly. He answered my concerns and apologized repeatedly for the need for the follow up visit. I really didn't think that much about it as it was working, just not at the pressure we were used to. We are very pleased with Power Pro Plumbing and Brandon. He never made excuses or blamed anyone else and accepted all responsibility for the follow up visit. Power Pro responded quickly and followed up later to ensure we were happy with the additional work done. I again can highly recommend them and Brandon D. read more

I first used Power Pro Plumbing in 2013 when my water line from my home to the street was obstructed by tree roots. I gulped twice when I reviewed their estimate. I learned the hard way the cost of being a homeowner. Power Pro did a professional fantastic job repairing my plumbing needs and worth every penny I had to spend. In 2013 Power Pro informed me that the pipes under my house needed to be replaced. Financially I just could not make those repairs at the same time my main line was being repaired. Four years later the pipes under my house burst. In May 2017 I called Power Pro to repair all the plumbing pipes under my house. They also found a gas leak in the gas lines under my house. It was costly but it had to be done. In 2013 Power Pro gave me a 75 year warranty on the main line from the house to the street. Good! That means by the time the main line needs repair I will be dead so it won't be coming out of my pocket. In May 2017 Power Pro gave me a 10 year warranty on the pipes repaired under the house including the gas line. I don't think I'll be dead by then but I am satisfied with the warranty. I want to give a special shout out to Power Pro's professionals, Jorge, Ramon and Martin. These guys know what they are doing. Jorge is a professional that you want in your corner. He is a decent honest man which is very hard to find these days. If you have a plumbing issue it will serve you well to call Power Pro. read more

Please don't use them to make your repairs. We called them when we had a major leak in the shower. The guy showed up and after an hour he said he had to come back the next day with the right tool. He told me $200 for the job. He came back the next day. He said should only take 45 minutes. After almost two hours he says he has to redo all the plumbing in the shower. He says now $650. We say okay he spent most of the day in there working. That evening the bathroom was a mess. He said he would have to come back to finish the repair. He showed Wednesday in regular clothes the company had no idea he was here. He tried to cut tile for the job but the color wasn't the same. After a few hours he says he will be back in a few days. After not hearing from him I called the company. I told them the shower really needs to be fixed. They had no idea what their plumber had been doing. They said they would fix it. They came to fix it I told them it was leaking and there was still a big hole they made. They had to send a tile guy over who made the tile uneven, too close to the value so you can't get a toy in it, and no room for a piece to stop water from leaking into the wall. Also the shower was still leaking. We called them again the lady said she was going to help get it done right. The next day they said they were not going to fix it and we were out of luck. read more

If you are looking for any kind of plumbing work with a trustworthy and skilled company, look no further. We had pretty extensive plumbing work done at our house that included diagnosing and pipe lining that lasted nearly 2-3 weeks. One would think that would be a major inconvenience, but Power Pro Plumbing and ESPECIALLY George Caulford made the entire experience as pleasant as possible. In fact, and not to sound too dramatic, but over the course of our plumbing work and the fact George was over at our house everyday, he quickly became family to us due to his demeanor and professionalism. Not only was George extremely knowledgeable and skilled with many many years of experience in the industry, he is extremely patient and informative without being pushy or sales-y. He explained everything we needed and why we needed it, giving us options and considerations for the work that we needed to get done. It was extremely comforting to know we could trust George right out of the gate and that speaks to Power Pro Plumbing as a company. Even more, to make sure everything was satisfactory, the owner himself came to our house to check on the work and make sure that everything was smooth and to our expectations. I called Power Pro Plumbing Heating & Air Company. We were unable to turn off the bathtub water because the fixture was broken. Prior to calling this company, I had contacted several plumbing companies. I had two options; leave a voicemail message and pray that someone would quickly return my call or wait until Thursday (2 days) for a plumber to come out and shut the running water off and determine what what would happen next. It wasn't until I contacted this company at 1:40 p.m on a Tuesday that I saw results. The gentleman that I spoke to was understanding. I was extremely impressed by his spirit of kindness and supportiveness. He told me not to worry, someone would be at my home between 2 and 4 p.m. Guess what? A gentleman by the name of MIguel Mendez arrived at 2:00 p.m. on the dot! He was understanding, knowledgeable, and professional. I was so happy to see him because the bathtub water had been running for almost 2 hours! Mr. Miguel Mendez shut it off and provided me with a free fixture repair/replacement estimate. Power pro plumbing is the most outstanding plumbing company that I've ever worked with and I'm in my mid-50s. Their customer service is absolutely the best! They go out of their way to help you. Mario & Rigo, my plumbers, Amy, Mgr, & the staff in the office have always been polite & professional. Without a doubt, customer service & satisfaction is their priority. With a toilet back up on a Sunday evening, they were at my house, snaking my drain within an hr of the phone call. Their prices are definitely fair & reasonable. High tech too, used a camera throughout the drain to definitely diagnose the problem. After major, major plumbing work (70' drain Perma-liner to sewer) my insurance co. repetitively denied reimbursing me. So, I call Mario & Amy and they took over the back & forth contact with my insurance co. (for weeks). Next thing I knew, my insurance company called me and said the claim was covered. Amazing!! I've recommended them to my elderly parents. They also said, Power pro plumbing is outstanding. Power Pro Plumbling is now their go to plumbling company also. I'm so thankful to have a plumbing company I can rely on at anytime, and they know what they are doing; let alone polite & professional. read more

We used Power Pro Plumbing for a small job, at first, and that was done satisfactorily. Then Nate the technician convinced us that, with our very old house that we needed to have our pipes scoped and then to have the house hydrojetted. We had this done, at a cost that we now know was higher than competitors, and then they did some pipe replacement under the house that they convinced us needed to be done. In the resulting large bill, we were charged for certain lengths of pipe in certain sizes. When I crawled under the house, it became apparent to me that we were over-charged in both the length and the diameter of the pipe. I know how much time the technician spent on replacing this (not many hours). We confronted the manager about this, and told him that this was very bad business. They reduced our bill by half. But had I not crawled in the dirt in the space below my house, I would not have known this. I will never do business again with a company that over-charges a customer and wrongly bills for work done. Highly recommend that others either get competitive bids or find another company. read more

You wrote a review for Power Pro Plumbing 6 days ago 8/30/2018 George Caulford did a fantastic job! We had a major back-up due to tree roots and a broken sewer pipe. We were quoted $12,000, from another plumber, for a sleeve from the house to the tree (additional $ if the sleeve went to the street). Three weeks later, the water in our kitchen sink wouldn't drain. I tried renting a snake and still could not free the drain. George and an assistant brought out a camera and determined that the pipes under our slab had rusted out and collapsed. George recommended adding another sewer line going outside at the kitchen and then tying into the existing line at the tree root break. This allowed us to avoid tearing up flooring in the house. George was able to install the new line and fix broken existing line, solving 2 problems for less than cost of installing the sleeve. read more

Was given a time frame which was kept and the communication through their dispatch was excellent. Always a good start. Paul was good natured and explained to me thoroughly what the problem with my clogged bathroom sinks were. He gave me excellent suggestions should problems arise in the future. I've been ripped off by a competitor plumbing service so I was a bit wary of plumbers from that experience. I have confidence with this company from their positive employee attitude to the fair price for the work done. I believe there's a certain amount of trust that needs to be earned in an industry that most people find mystifying from their lack of knowledge. I felt good about the experience I had with this company and hope that is indeed their true standard way of doing business. read more

I called them the first time to check on where the leak is coming from our house. The first plumber had no idea where the leak is and just adjusted the flush mechanism in our main bathroom and says that it might be the cause of the excessive water loss, paid $395 for that service. Then called again and they sent this clown named Johnny Madera and again told us that we need to change the main valve shut off in the front of the house to reduce the leak. NOTHING HAPPENED. Paid $625. Folks DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. The Manager that I spoke with regarding this matter was the head clown of this company. They do not know how to fix your plumbing problems. Try other companies with reputable expertise. Believe me you will just be a milking cow at the end of the day. read more

We had a miscommunication with the appointment time but they didn't blame me or try to say it was my fault. All they did was try to make me comfortable. When the tech came he was 20mins early witch was great. They came on a weekend after 9:00 pm and didn't charge me extra. Javier was fast as he could. He fix the problem and told me to call if I had any additional problems with the bathroom. After the services was done, I received a phone call and email to check on satisfaction with the job. I couldn't have been happier. He cleaned up after himself, secured all the piping and gave me some pointers. He also told me how to fix another problem in my home unrelated to the reason I called. I would most definitely recommend Power Pro to everyone I know! read more

Wow, where do I start, my mom called this company to come out and Rooter her drains, she was told over the phone there was a $99 special on drain cleaning, she always has it done every few years, nothing ever major but toilet tissue blocking up drains, the technician Nathan who came out totally ripped my mom off, he kept pushing her to put the camera in the drain after the services were done. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves taking advantage of a elderly woman is unacceptable from $99 to over $7,000!! Please beware of this company !! I would not want to see this happen to another elderly person, for now on we will not be using this company we will be using any other plumbing company than this one. read more

We hired power pro plumbing to take care of what we thought was a minor leak. As it turned out our old galvanized pipes of 40 years had rusted through and they were unable to join the new piping to the old. Unfortunately it turned into a major repiping with a lot of jack hammering and took the better part of the week to complete. Fredrico, Carlos and the crew were very professional and explained the procedure and worked long hours tirelessly to get the job completed in a timely manner without inconveniencing us. The company had the option of paying for the major repair with an 18 month no interest deal, which was welcomed. We would recommend Fredrico and his crew for any major plumbing repair. read more

Our heater went out of order, we called Power Pro and the first technician was unable to solve the problem. We called Honeywell (the Control Panel board Company) and spoke to the representative and the rep advised us to call them when the Power Pro technician arrives so they can walk the technician through the process of fixing the problem. We ended up calling Power Pro a few more times and the technicians ALEX and JC showed up and they contacted Honeywell and fixed the problem. ALEX was a HARDWORKING kind Gentleman and JC (GEORGE) was very knowledgeable and fixed the problem. Power Pro Plumbing! Can't say enough about how I was so happy to part with my hard earned money! They were friendly and professional from the first phonecall... to the last peace of grass put back in place, after digging up the lawn, in order to address and repair the problem! Nacho & Steven, in particular, were a pleasure having them do the work at my home, as well as Sean, Freddy, and Emillano. I was actually referred to Power Pro Plumbing, by another reputable plumber.
