    I don't typically leave 5-star reviews--but when it's earned, it's earned. Advantage Air absolutely deserves it. I initially contacted Advantage Air after seeing a few rave reviews elsewhere. I needed some ductwork replaced and was hoping to find a reliable and trustworthy company. Advantage Air nailed both. From the first visit, their professionalism stood out. The tech who came out was on time, respectful, and took his time inspecting everything. After the inspection, he gave clear, honest feedback and a few helpful suggestions--not a sales pitch. I've dealt with companies before where the techs were clearly trained to upsell. That wasn't the case here. No pressure, no fluff--just facts and recommendations. That kind of transparency goes a long way. There was a small fee for the service call, but it was taken off the final bill--which is pretty standard these days. Every call I made to the office was met with patience and professionalism. They answered every question I had and made the whole process feel smooth. Once I put down my deposit, the team showed up on time and ready to work. They were courteous, clean, and had the job wrapped up quickly and efficiently. Later that day, another tech came out for the coil cleaning I had scheduled. He had the same vibe--respectful, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He made a quick suggestion based on what he saw and let me know the office would follow up later. The entire experience was flawless from start to finish. You can tell the folks at Advantage Air enjoy their work--and honestly, it shows. I'll be calling them again for any future HVAC needs.

    Hi there. Unfortunately we don’t work with water sourced/ hydronic systems.

    Do you repair small window units?

    We do not repair window units.

    Do you charge for estimates?

    Estimates for installing or replacing a unit are free, if you are seeking a repair, we do have a $98 diagnostic fee. That fee does get waived if you choose to do any repairs recommended by our technician that day.

As you can imagine, as a new home owner, most all of our money was tied up in the purchase of the home and we were expecting the air-conditioning to work since it had previously passed inspection. I tried using our home warranty, but they gave me every reason under the sun not to cover it. At this point, we were so close to summer that we could not wait anymore, especially since we had a young child. I met with several air-conditioning companies for quotes, one that even quoted me over $50k for a new unit and ducting. I met with Kyle who worked with me on pricing. I really appreciated his calm demeanor, positive attitude and professionalism through this unexpected, stressful situation. He was able to fit us into their very busy schedule and we were able to get new AC up and running within one week notice. His team, led by Ivan, did a great job with the removal of the old ducting and unit, installation of the new and cleaned up after themselves after each workday. I also met Juan, on the last day who helped start up our system. Juan was kind, knowledgeable and professional. I had some minor hiccups that came up after the job was done, Kyle and Juan were very responsive and helped resolved things swiftly. They are an exceptional team and I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

I called their company office and they said they would pay to repair the vehicle. The repair guy had left a note on my window. I went to a dent repair they said they could not do it because of the type of dent and paint damage I was told ihad to go to a body shop. The body shop gave me an estimate that I sent to their company and they did not call me back. when I did Manage to get ahold of them after leaving several messages they said they did not want to pay because it was too expensive. They accused me of somehow being involved with the auto Body shop! I have to waste my time getting estimates and this is how I was treated like I am trying to get over on them and get money out of this. I said fine I would go to a reputable Body shop they could choose but I wanted it fixed correctly. Nope, he wanted to send a driveway repair guy to our office to fix it. I told them I wanted it done to the original Condition using the correct Lexus metallic paint. He said no because my car is 10 years old I shouldn't care if it was fixed back to the way it was before they damaged it . They would not contact their insurance and most likely do not have any. I would stay away from this company at all costs if they damage your property they will complain bitterly and not want to fix it. Stay away whether you are a homeowner or a commercial building owner this is the first hand experience.

I did my homework and reached out to a few contractors, including Gominisplit, to collect some quotes. I met with several other contractors, who did not show up to estimate appointments, were blatantly rude, and tried to upsell me things I did not need. Jose was a gem. He responded quickly to my inquiry and was punctual for my home walkthrough as well as all visits thereafter. He made sound recommendations and provided a competitive and fair estimate. I hired him because he was honest and easy to work with. He speaks English and Spanish, which was helpful because my dad speaks Spanish and he's the one who mainly coordinated with Jose. He worked very quickly with one other person and had our three bedrooms and living room area up and running in a couple of days. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs minisplits for their home. Although it was a strange and difficult situation, they stuck to it until the problem was resolved. The techs Danny and Mark went above and beyond to make sure everything was good. We observed that while the unit appeared to be functioning, it was not producing cool air, despite the outdoor fan operating correctly. During our investigation, we contacted the service provider, Thomson. A representative stated that only the thermostat had been replaced and that a service technician could be dispatched for a fee of $159, suggesting a potential wiring issue. Upon reviewing the Honeywell thermostat instructions and wiring diagram, we identified that the thermostat had been incorrectly wired to the "W" terminal. After rectifying this wiring error, the air conditioning unit resumed normal operation, producing cool air. I subsequently contacted Thomson for clarification regarding the initial service. Their response repeatedly referenced a previous replacement 14 months prior. While their online reviews are predominantly five-star, our experience suggests a lack of professionalism. This incident raises concerns about the necessity of recommended services and the quality of workmanship, potentially indicating errors or intentional oversights during the initial installation.
