Every year I try to do a home project, and this year I finally decided to install some mini splits. My home was built in the 1950s and it has no A/C, which has become increasingly difficult to deal with the last few hot summers. I did my homework and reached out to a few contractors, including Gominisplit, to collect some quotes. I met with several other contractors, who did not show up to estimate appointments, were blatantly rude, and tried to upsell me things I did not need. Jose was a gem. He responded quickly to my inquiry and was punctual for my home walkthrough as well as all visits thereafter. He made sound recommendations and provided a competitive and fair estimate. I hired him because he was honest and easy to work with. He speaks English and Spanish, which was helpful because my dad speaks Spanish and he's the one who mainly coordinated with Jose. What made me go with Jose was that he was literally the first one who responded to me and gave me options for what I could get. He was able to schedule something even on the weekend and they came and got it done in the time that they said they would with no issues. We went with the Daikin because although it was a bit pricier it was reviewed to be the more reliable over time and we had installed in a bedroom that was used regularly. I told him about my concerns about the added amps on the same line that was running the washer and dryer and the power from that bedroom and that sometimes it tends to trip the breaker. He suggested that he come by sometime during the week and add a new outlet from my garage directly to the panel so we wouldn't have that problem with the washer and dryer tripping the breaker anymore. And in a few days he did just that! I definitely recommend Gominisplit if you need a split AC solution. These guys made my experience great. read more
