Ryan Momi and his partners Adam and angel were the best. Ryan gave me a quote that was hands down better than any other quote around town. The next day they set up shop right at 9am and were done by 3pm giving me a full duct clean, All new duct hoses and made sure the AC was strongest where it needed to be at my house. Would highly recommend!! Support your local AC guy, they do the best work. read more

I had a brand new AC system installed and had a great experience from start to finish. They were on time, worked fast and efficiently, and left everything clean when the job was finished. They were professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire process easy. I'm extra grateful that they came during the worst heat wave in So Cal and had my new system up and running so quickly (literally within hour's) . On top of the excellent service, they also offered the best price I found. I'm extremely happy with my new AC and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC service. read more

Ryan Momi is terrific in terms of professionalism, workmanship, efficiency and great price. He had a plan and proposal quickly and delivered in all respects. We had what we thought was a tricky installation, but he made it seem simple, doing a great job of sizing and placing 2 mini-splits and routing all the lines involved. Called R Momi Heating & AC in for a quote to install a mini split or central AC. Came on time and was very professional. We had about five quotes and companies to choose from but chose R Momi! This review is long overdue for the HVAC unit that was installed in the summer of 2022, when we were in urgent need of air conditioning. After submitting inquiries through Yelp and receiving several estimates, R Momi and his team stood out by offering the best value, a solid warranty, and completing the installation in just two days. The project included removing our old AC unit and upgrading to a new system and thermostat. Ryan communicated clearly throughout the process, explaining what to expect and sharing helpful maintenance tips to save money--such as regularly changing filters. He even recommended cost-effective filter options that work well for our system. Fast forward 3.5 years later, and although we were already outside the warranty period, our heater unexpectedly stopped working. I messaged Ryan on a Sunday night, and he showed up Monday morning and fixed the issue in under an hour. That level of responsiveness and care truly shows how he treats his customers like family. Thank you, Ryan, for saving the day! If you're looking for HVAC services--big or small--look no further. I'm confident he'll work with you on your project. A big thank you to R Momi and the entire team for consistently taking care of our HVAC needs. read more

Once upon a time, an important Yelp-worthy find! It's hot! Really hot! So hot, in fact, my tried and true ac unit could not handle the heat and blew a gasket. I called R. Momi after reading several positive Yelp reviews. Ryan Momi, the owner, to the rescue! He was professional and kind. He was on time and deduced the problem quickly and efficiently. I absolutely would recommend R Momi Heating & AC. Our mini split decided to stop cooling at the worst time (week of 90's heat wave). Although we were not on the schedule, Angel came after his last job to diagnose & squeezed us in for the repairs. Angel was very knowledgeable & diagnosed the problems (it was a DIY install and he found & repaired install errors and added coolant to the leaking system). Overall, it was a great experience. Absolutely amazing job! Ryan was super-fast and efficient with the installation. Excellent craftsman! He came on time and explained how our split unit worked. We haven't had any hot days yet, but it's been humid. This unit sucks the humidity out of the air like you wouldn't believe! All I need to do when it gets a little warm is use the dehumidifier for a few hours, and the living room isn't just cool, it's downright chilly. Most of the time, I have to put on a sweatshirt and turn off the unit because it works so well at removing the humidity. It's very efficient, too. We have solar, but it's still nice to know we're not using up a massive amount of energy when we use the unit. I'm looking forward to warmer days so I can test out the actual AC to see how well it works. Finally, the unit is extremely quiet. We got a Mitsubishi unit since that's what Ryan recommended for durability and efficiency. It's well worth the small extra cost for this unit. I highly recommend R Momi Heating and Air-Conditioning for all your heating and AC needs. They're the BEST!!! Thank you, Ryan! read more

This company is the best! I initially hired them to take a look and potentially troubleshoot my older unit. The cost made it worth it to try when other companies just tried to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. Ryan worked with me and we tried everything to get the older unit to work. Unfortunately, we were not successful and needed a new unit. Ryan gave me a very competitive price and installed right away. The whole process was a couple days. I'm very grateful that he actually listened to what was happening and my needs. The house is cool again and my wallet isn't obliterated. Thanks again, guys! Highly recommended! read more

My AC unit began to freeze up and of course it was working harder than it should. I felt it may be time to replace the HVAC. I contacted R Momi and Ryan was able to come out the same day to look at it. He was very thorough and honest which indicated to me that he had a lot of integrity. He quoted me a price for a new system and to my surprise he was very reasonable answer actually right at my target number. He and his crew promptly show up 2 days later with everything and quickly got to work. He estimated 5-6 hours and he finished within 5-1/2 hours. He and his crew protected my flooring from and to the furnace and cleaned everything up when they were done, you couldn't even tell they had been there. Sometimes you just know from the beginning when you're working with an honest individual and that's how I felt with Ryan. read more

I have to say, big ticket items like replacing an A/C unit, really stress me out. After getting a few quotes, I went ahead with Ryan's company. Not only is he quick to respond, he's reliable and most of all honest. His bid came out to be substantially better than the other companies, but most of all, he was really thorough and his work is clean. His assistant was amazing as well. After two weeks without air, Ryan had everything replaced, installed and running within a 5 hour time frame!!! He also took care of the warranty enrollment for me and he is genuinely a caring, honest man. Thank you Ryan for helping me out and thank you for being reliable and awesome!!!! read more

This review is on behalf of my mom, Shirley from Bixby Knolls, who had split Mitsubishi air conditioning units installed in her living room and 3 bedrooms. Ryan and his team have a stellar 5 star rating from us. Hands down, we highly recommend this company because of their excellent work from beginning to end. After calling multiple vendors for estimates, he not only provided the best estimate, but delivered on every front. He listened to my preferences and honored my requests. What a godsend. I wish I had found Ryan years ago before wasting thousands of dollars on repairs for our old system. We moved into this house 3 years ago. The AC/heat system was new so we didn't spend much time inspecting it. I wish we had. After multiple repairs and thousands of wasted dollars on a garbage install, I finally broke down and ponied up for a new install with R Momi. Ryan's prices were extremely competitive and he was very easy to work with. For the first time ever, today we were able to cool the house to a comfortable temperature on a warm day. I recently moved into a home where the previous owner allowed the ductwork to be destroyed by rodents. I reached out to a "big" AC company for a repair quote (I won't mention their name but they advertise heavily in KFI 640). They quoted ~$8K to haul away the old ducting and install new ducting. They said it would be a 1-2 day job with 2-3 technicians. That was totally out of my price range. A friend recommend R. Momi Heating & A/C. Ryan came out and gave an estimate much lower than the other company, and said he could have it done in a day. He was right - they were able to do all the working in less than 4 hours. They prepped beforehand with tarps to protect the floors, then cleaned up (and vacuumed) afterwards. It's a level of professionalism and service you don't see a lot of anymore. I would definitely recommend R. Momi to anyone looking for heating & A/C servicing! You'll be thankful you did. read more
