Had EM out in July to look at my AC system, as it wasn't cooling down efficiently/properly. (Has not been pretty with the Edison bill let me tell you.) EM, Edgar Martinez, provided Good communication, good response time, was very personable and I didn't feel rushed, or pressured. Mr Martinez was responsive, provided good communication via text and phone, was on time, prompt, had tools & was efficient with time. Was also considerate, to keep house clean with shoe covers. "A true professional." I didn't feel rushed, and he was very knowledgeable about my AC system setup and what he recommended; I would say he is a hard worker, as it was hot and he didn't rush, or cut corners; very professional and personable; just felt like "good business." I definitely recommend a phone call and/or home, or office/business visit, to see what EM can do for you. Thank you & Good Luck. read more

First time customer. Service requested for routine tune up. Edgar found an issue and diagnosed the problem quickly. Very professional. Explained each scenario with easy to understand analogies for us who don't know HVAC. He willingly shared his knowledge and I value the time he took to answer any questions. Quickly made repairs and offered alternative solutions to keep the system running as long as possible. Up and running in 1 hour. Great value. Highly recommend this business. read more

I called because my heater stopped working, yes it's older and I know it should be replaced. That was my fear when looking around for the right HVAC company. From the girl who answered the phone, to Edgar showing up to my house On TIME, he was friendly and really experienced, he found that the furnace was overheating and shutting off, looked deeper and found the fan was so dirty it was causing my heater to lose air. That made sense! He pulled it all apart and cleaned it. After putting it all together my system started working properly, I even have more airflow than I ever had. I will definitely be calling them when time to replace! Thank you so much for being so awesome, trustworthy, and affordable. HIGHKY RECOMMEND read more

EM Heating and Air Conditioning - Cleaned furnace fan - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me

Service (5/5) When I called Edgar a person picked up so there wasn't an answering service or a message/voicemail that I had to leave for a response window. He was immediately able to add me to his schedule and addressed the problem I had with my system, the same day that I called in and showed up at the time that he noted he would. The overall experience was fantastic. He squeezed me in right before a heatwave really hit its peak in my area. Experience (5/5) Edgar was very experienced and knew his stuff. He was thorough in troubleshooting the entire system and even provided me with pricing for the parts and service for future services and upgrades. His communication skills were top notch and it was very easy to understand why it wasn't working. He also shared pictures alongside the invoice. Price 5/5 Edgar is very reasonably priced for the services that he offers. I called multiple companies and got quotes for their refrigerant costs per lb. His prices were the best for my refill. read more

Can't say enough good things about Edgar and his team. He came out, same day and on time, to give me an estimate on our heating & ducting, and his team was doing the work within 48 hours. After our heater/ducting was replaced, he came out 2 days later to follow up on how everything was performing. We had one minor request to make and Edgar stayed for several more hours until the job was to our complete satisfaction and absolutely perfect. Good help truly is hard to find these days, but Edgar and the EM team have proven that they are the exception. read more

Sandra in customer service was a pleasure to work with. She got everything scheduled for me and got Edgar to come out to take a look at our Central air/heating unit the same day. Edgar was great. He came out and determined a part needed to be ordered in order to complete the repair. This all happened right around Christmas and New Years and he did everything he could to get the part as soon as possible. After the part came in he came back out the same day he received it on Jan 2nd and completed the repair. Definitely recommend EM Heating and Air!!!! read more

I reached out for a quote on some AC service and David was at my doorstep in less than an hour. He was very clear and transparent about our options and pricing. Though we decided to go another route, he was still able to stay to further assess our situation and even go as far as giving recommendations for what we can do as a temporary fix in the meantime. He was generous enough to stay to share knowledge and insight as well as inspect our home while even going as far as making sure we were present at all times so that we knew what he was doing at all times since we had a previous encounter with other pushy companies. I can tell these guys make sure to develop strong relationships with their clients even if it doesn't mean securing a sale which is rare to find nowadays. I will definitely be hitting these guys up for any HVAC work. read more

Edgar and his team did a fantastic job installing a new central heating and air-con system, as well as installing a new water heater and helping me with a mini-split system that had already been installed (incorrectly). He is a clear communicator telling you his diagnosis or recommendation in very plain language and cutting to the chase, giving you very clear choices (and cost levels). This system was for a rental, so he recommended a pretty basic install that would serve the tenants without breaking the bank. Edgar went above and beyond helping with little extras that hadn't been discussed, but he just felt needed to happen to do an A+ job. There was never a question that he didn't have my best interests at heart...and as a consequence he has a lifetime customer! read more

We had our heater replaced last November. Fast forward 7 months later, we called EM Heating to adjust blower speed setting since it was making a louder than usual hum. Thank you Edgar for your great, top-notch customer service!! read more

Reliable and Highly recommended. I'll work with this company in due to time. Backstory: Our AC didn't work when we decided to use it this summer. Already thinking of getting it checked but schedule is a bummer. This morning so happened that this business appeared in the Nextdoor app thread and being local I texted Edgar his availability and replied right away that he can swing by today as he is already in the area. I'm typically out on weekends and this is a plus since I'm home. True to his appointed time and did a quick diagnostics and found that my breaker was off. Didn't even think about it because no one turned it off, at least, from my household. I suddenly realized that another HVAC contractor looked at it earlier this year because I saw a program fir a rebate of some sort and being the unit is very old, I'm already considering replacing it. I think that guy deliberately turned it off so i would assume that it's broken when summer comes. Just beware of those companies. read more
