Power Home replaced the rotted facia in the corners of the roof, installed new gutters, capped the facia and soffit all around my house and increased attic airflow. I'm very pleased with the result, the quality of materials and the work ethic of the inspector, installers and quality control follow-up. I plan to use Power Home again when it's time to replace the roof. The facia in the corners of my roof was badly deteriorated/rotted from years of leaking gutters. The interim repairs I did inevitably failed because the gutter system was compromised. Jared came at a time when I was ready to find a permanent solution. He was very thorough with his inspection of the roof and gutters, even going into the attic to check for damage. He took pictures and showed me the daylight coming in from the corners through the rotted corner facia, exposing the internal rafter support to water. (Of note, my attic door had been jammed for years, and the stairs not fastened tight and he FIXED it just to be kind!) Jared was awesome, explained all the issues he found, my options, pricing and most importantly, LISTENED to me when I told him what was a priority for me and what would have to wait. He was very respectful and helped me come up with a solution that fit my needs. Jared was awesome. Installation went great! The team was on time, respectful, thorough, skilled and cleaned up beautifully. They were attentive to my questions and did a walk-around with me before leaving. Mike came by the next day to do a quality control inspection, answer any questions I had, activated/explained again the lifetime parts/labor warranty. Super nice guy. He even went back up on the roof and took photos of concerns I can easily repair to avoid damage until I replace the roof. I did my research and I'm glad I went with Power Home Remodeling. The only tiny thing I would "ding" them for is their website. It's a good one, lots of info including licensing and COI - BUT it's VERY hard to find what services are offered. I finally found it, sort of, buried in Gallery. Lots of photos but it would have been nice to see a Services Offered section. All the positive info about the company is apparent but when potential customers go to a service provider's website, the first thing we look for is what you can DO for us and be able to find that info quickly. OUTSTANDING. company! We contracted PHR to install windows after another local, well known company completely decimated the job. We met with Mac, the sales rep and he completely won us over with his professionalism, understanding, and sympathetic to our plight. Next, Frank, the Project Manager came out and confirmed all the measurements, our choice of windows, and even educated us on some rules/guidelines/laws on picture windows that we were not aware existed. It was approximately 4 weeks from sales meeting to installation and we are amazed. Amazed at the craftsmanship of the Pella windows, and most importantly, the craftsmanship of the two installers, Danny and Gabriel. Danny came with solutions to fixing the debacle that was created by the previous company. They came with solutions, not excuses. While they were installing, the Quality Assurance Manager, Mike, came by and walked the entire house with us, explaining everything to us - warranties, efficiency tax credit, how the windows work, just about everything you needed to know and things we didn't know! The entire process from start to finish has been above and beyond anything we expected. So much so, we hired them right there to do another project for us. The fact that this company hires/trains Veterans was also a very important factor for us as my husband is an Air Force Vet. In fact, all three reps who came out are Vets. One of the worst companies in the business. 1. They sell another companies window and door product claiming it as their own SL-2700 manufactured by North East Building products in Philly. 2. They use subcontractors on all jobs. These guys are trained to say they are employees. Ask for proof that the installers are employees see what the sales guy says. 3. Sales persons are trained to give a tonight only price and it about 60 percent higher than the industry norm. 4. The duraglass is just tempered glass you can get it in almost any window on the market. 5. If you sign up to get their product installed just wait for their add on guy to show up to add more work. Their called quality assurance reps. Dont believe it their only job is to add more work. 6. They ask their employees to write reviews on almost all the review sites. 7. The turnover rate is tremendous at this company they have a new class of salespersons almost every week yet their numbers stay about the same, where did all the others go?? 8. You can get a window that is as good or better at your local home improvement supply company, not the big box stores I'm thinking Alside, or Allied just go in and ask about their product. 9. If you cancel a job they will try and get it back by sending a guy out to do "Paperwork in your home" you dont have to do this just say no thanks I sent in the cancellation notice. 10. If you are thinking about having them come to your home ask them a couple things. Do you use subs? Who makes your window? Can I buy these windows directly from North East. i usually run door to door salesman off immediately and wish I had done so in this case. these guys are just way too aggravating to deal with. spent 30 minutes w the sales guy at least, gave him my address and other contact info. he asks if anyone else lives here. my gf does but I am the homeowner. he said he needed her contact info. no dude, u do not. well we require everyone be here he says, to which I reply: well u don't have to do the estimate then and you can leave. he folds on the gf requirement at this pt. gets weirder from there, then we have to call his scheduler an go over all my info again, a recorded call. sales dude instructs me to lie to scheduler and tell him no one else lives here. I told them any time before 4 the next day. sales guy oversteps and asks what ive got goin on after 4. nothing I say, I just don't want u guys here after 4. finally get rid of him, 20 minutes later I missed a phone call but have a vm from them trying to confirm time and address. want me to call back, I don't. nxt morning they call at 8 am, asking me where I live. this is was it for me. I explained that their man was AT MY HOUSE just yesterday and id given the address to 2 diff ppl already, how can u not know where I live?? and why have I had to speak to 3 ppl in abt 12 hours just to sched an estimate? this is indicative of inefficiency and incompetence on an organizational level, not to mention obvious overhead in having to pay all these douchey salesguys to harass me. I cancelled the apt and told them to never come to my house again or call again. read more

Here's the short version: They will harass you with phone calls at all hours of the day and night, and will not take "no" for an answer. Here's the longer version: We were pricing roofs for a replacement, so when the young woman knocked on my door signing up homeowners for free estimates, I foolishly signed up. They made an appointment for that evening when both my husband and I were available. I immediately received a confirmation call from the company. Unfortunately, around the time they were to arrive that night, I received a call saying their guy couldn't make it, and they would send someone else about an hour later. I told them "thank you but no thank you" because we really weren't interested in stopping our lives for a flaky company. That was about 3 weeks ago. They have called no fewer than a dozen times, at all times of the day and night. They don't leave messages. I picked up last week and told them that we were no longer interested and please stop calling. They pushed for an estimate that day--I refused. They can't take "no" for an answer. They called AGAIN today and I AGAIN told them to please stop calling. I'm not sure how long this will go on, but they've killed any shot of me ever considering using them for any other home project. I would recommend NOT GIVING THEM YOUR NUMBER. read more

Some young guys were canvassing my neighborhood, I accepted the free estimate since I have been looking for windows and have had 3 previous estimates from different companies. What I found different about power is that they only had one option for windows all the other companies had multiple options for different budgets. I didn't know windows could be so expensive to replace. What sold me at power was the fact that they only carried one option their sl2700. They expressed that they wouldn't compromise quality for the sake of selling a cheaper option. Not only the quality but the warranty is amazing. If I ever have a window issue its good to know I have a lifetime warranty even if the screen rips. The only issue I can bring up as far as their window goes, is that in my foyer the original glass was single pane so it extended all throughout the frame. The new picture window is thicker and it looks like I lost almost 2 inches of glass space. I was bit taken back, however the explained that the only way to get it to be so energy efficient is to have a foam filled frame. As the customer speaking, choosing power was the right decision. All in all I rated power 5 stars. read more

Had my gutters replaced by Power Home Remodeling February 7th, 2022. In January there was a salesman going door to door who was very friendly. He said no obligation to buy and at the time was in need of replacing the gutters as they were damaged. He scheduled a time for another sales person to visit me in my home. The sales presentation is long. About 3 and a half hours. Granted all my questions were answered and the presentation itself is pretty thorough. The prices do seem a little high but I don't have comps to compare them to. They do offer financing and they do offer lower prices if you sign up the day of the in home sales presentation. Or you can get a written offer good for one year and call them back when you are ready. The next step is the installation. It took them about half a day to remove my old gutters and fascia and replace it with the new ones. The workers were fast and they cleaned up after they were done. The project manager had me sign off and I got a copy of the warranty. Next step is Quality Assurance comes out to review the work and activate the warranty. Overall they do seem to care a lot about reviews and they want you to be happy. read more

Great experience! I first heard of Power Home Remodeling when one of their door to door guys was talking to my wife when I arrived home from work. I was impressed with the amount of knowledge regarding home remodeling and decided to let him sign me up for a sales visit. The sales rep arrived as scheduled and proceeded to measure all of my windows and the entire exterior of the house. Then he continued with one of the longest sales presentations I have ever sat thru! However, the presentation was extremely comprehensive and every question I had was answered to my satisfaction. After some back and forth about price, we decided to go ahead and replace all 12 of our windows. From the time I signed contract to the install date Power was available to answer any questions I had. The financing was very easy to obtain. Every step of the process was communicated effectively and the pre-install inspection verified everything to ensure a smooth install. We had a great experience during the install. The guys did a great job and were very pleasant to work with, and very polite. Our neighborhood has a Posted sign "NO SOLICITING ". I wish your company would OBEY & RESPECT THE SIGN !! A young man was upset that I called him out on ignoring the (Huge, posted and can't miss !) SIGN. I ask for a card or a brochure. He refused. He FINALLY told me the company name. " Power Home Remodeling in Norcross, GA" He was more concerned about my griping & said I was being disrespectful. HE did not have a County permit (which is required by law) HE SHOWED DISRESPECT by ILLEGALLY TRESPASSING. It can be hard to deal with someone who is breaking the law. I apologized and told him I was truly not TRYING to be disrespectful, but simply wanted his company name! (not his avoiding defense's, which he kept blustering out) He kept pointing to his hat "Power" that's all it said. I contacted someone about our Sheriff's Department. I was told to call 911 & have him checked out. I'm considering posting this in our community blog, which covers Walton, Gwinnett & more) By the way he went back to his car, and left the community. This is our second project with Power home remodeling. We gathered estimates in January 2015 at the Atlanta home expo. Jeff Beaser our remodeling consultant was professional and courteous. We had at least 3 other estimates, the fact of how he took the time to explain in detail the craftsmanship of the quality of their product. We did our research and it seemed ok with us. It has been over 6 months and we are now in progress of finishing the home. This is our second project with power, we did the back of the home last time and now we are completing the front. We have seen Ana amazing difference since we started replacing our windows with power. They are quit easy to clean add amazing value to your home. We are happy we choose Power for our remodeling project. Also a side note, today we found that one window came in too big from the factory. Power has an amazing policy, of no money down. Which means we don't get billed till it's all said and done and we are 100% satisfied. Manufacturing mistakes happen, what counts is what a good company will do when things happen. Power Home Remodeling called multiple times during my work day to confirm an already scheduled appointment. They didn't leave a message, but called while I was in meetings every 30 minutes. When I called back, the Appointment Confirmation line was not available to receive my call, and their voicemail was full. "An error has occurred" was the last message the three times I called and waited for 5 minutes to speak with someone. Very unprofessional. Completely disrespectful salesperson. Stayed at our home for more than 2.5 hours and wanted to review our whole home for a 6-window estimate. I told him multiple times that we had other plans, had food waiting and hungry children, but it fell on dead ears. Overpriced, pushy and a "First Visit Discount' offer that they are trying to get you locked in to before you even get to look at other estimates. Completely TURNED OFF from any future window project. Will probably end up doing this project myself or using a trusted company. I will not be using Power Home Remodeling because of their disrespectful and pushy sales process, and over-priced product. PHRG met with me for an estimate to replace some windows in late November, I definitely needed one old single pane metal frame unit, so I agreed to install 3 large windows. The windows were installed on 1/7/15 by Marcus and Mark, the work was excellent, they were very efficient, cleaning work area, and very careful with installation. The windows are great, the one in the kitchen made such a difference heat wise, it was comfortable to sit at the table with the blinds up. During that time I decided to have 3 more windows installed, one large and 2 small windows. The second set of windows were installed on 2/24/15 by Lee and James. Once again they were efficient, cleaning work area, and very careful with the installation. This installation basically covered the downstairs of the house, except for 2 smaller windows, but the difference it has made with the installation of these energy efficient windows has had a dramatic affect on the comfort level of the downstairs. I am saving towards the installation of some more windows in the upstairs in the future. read more

Had Power coming out to replace my roof and gutters and from start to finish expectations with this company and its employees have been exceeded each time. Communication was clear and easy to understand each step of the way. During the installation of the new roof Mike came out to check on things and make sure everything was done correctly and items were addressed and resolved on the roof and talking about the next day gutter install. He was able to check the roof and noticed insulation was needed in the attic so as to make everything more efficient with the new roof and so items were at code for the house. He was able to walk me through some options for remediation on the insulation needs and we were able to get the next project queued up while here. Can't recommend this company enough for folks needing new roofs, gutters, insulation, windows, etc. If its Power it will be done right, and they'll do right by you. read more

I had them come out and to get an estimate on how much siding was going to be so I could start saving. When the sales rep came out he looked at the siding and saw it was not bad but noticed that the gutters were overflowing. I had planned on just getting them cleaned but he offered to give me a quote on bigger gutters that would take less maintenance as the volume of water that can move through the gutters would be greater. The price was right and will save me a lot of money not having to get my gutters cleaned out so often. When they came out they were very professional and did a good job communicating what they were going to do and when they expected to be wrapped up. Once they were done I went to check the driveway for nails as I have gotten nails in my tires from remodeling projects and didn't find one. Also all the gunk that was in the gutters, from not getting them cleaned, was gone as they had picked it all up. I can honestly say I'm highly impressed with the work done and would recommend them to anyone who needs work done. read more
