Stay away from this company. I signed up for Power windows as I was leaving Sam's Club in Buford, GA. We had two separate projects done with them. It took months to get the window installed. Both projects where a headache. Each time they showed up with wrong sizes or broken windows or the wrong sash design. The onsite team put on a professional attitude but I could tell they were disheartened with the warehouse mistakes. We got through it. Now, only six years later, I have 5 foggy windows. We called to use the lifetime warranty. Guess what? They won't honor the lifetime warranty because they have "changed manufacturers". They want to charge me $180 per window to replace these windows. GRRRR. How convenient. They change manufactures and the lifetime warranty means nothing. Bait and switch. "We have the best warranty, until we don't". Shame on them. I spent more than $25K on them because of their great warranty. I am one mad customer. read more

Our experience with Power has been excellent start to finish. We recently bought a new home and knew from the inspection we would have to replace most of the windows. We got multiple quotes from different companies including Renewal by Anderson and Window Nation along with Power. It was an easy decision to go with Power - their prices, quality of the product, and warranty beat out the others by a long-shot. The real value outside of the windows themselves though has been our customer experience. From the initial visit and evaluation with the sales consultant, Shawn, all the way through install and post install inspection with Melissa and then Mike, this company has treated us like real people. It is so clear that they love what they do and have brought a level of humanness to what can often feel like a grueling experience. They never were pushy, were extremely informative and helpful, and want to ensure you are completely satisfied. No shabby jobs or long waits on calls being ignored. The work was done excellently and their commitment to their customers shines through. We have a huge project to do, and because of the size have to do it in phases to space out costs. Do NOT use Power for your roof, I was absolutely lied to and almost fell for one of the worst scams of my life. Dillon came by and was offering free estimates, he was pleasant and got me scheduled for an estimate on my windows and attic insulation. Nick Disney came out and measured the windows, and then went up in the attic. He came down about 20 minutes later and asked how old the roof was. I told him 6 years (we had just bought the house). He immediatly said it wasn't installed right, and that there were 7 or 8 leak areas with multiple active leaks. I was shocked as the roof had just passed inspection about a month before. He proceeded for the next 2 hours to go into details about the roof technology they used, how other companies were all likely inferior, especially if their pricing was lower than Power's. At the end, he offered to replace it "correctly," for... $36,000?!?! (it's a 3000sqft roof) Oh but they offer financing, at 17%?! I was floored. After he left I immediately called my realtor, she had a roofing company she's used for years do a second inspection. His exact words, "As much as I would love to sell you a new roof, there isn't a thing wrong with yours." He also said it would be a 10k roof at most (I had another general contractor confirm roughly the same price). Disappointing. I was scheduled to have someone come by my home this morning to give me an estimate for some window work. I live in a gated community and needed to give the person detailed instructions on how to access my community and my building and backup details because our gate system often doesn't work well. First I responded to their confirmation email with these detailed instructions, but later received a bounce back of my email. Second, I called their scheduling department to get an email address or text number of the person coming by so i can send them these details. The scheduling department said that they couldn't provide me with a way to get the details as they don't give out emails. The scheduler wanted me to read all of the instructions to him so he could pass along the details, but I told him it was too lengthy to give verbally, because every time I've tried to give people directions over the phone, they never get all of the information down and then they can't get to my home. This left me with the impression that this company isn't a real company or isn't legitimate if they don't allow me to contact the person whom I'm expected to let into my home, so we canceled the appointment. This was disappointing as there will be construction done to my double wide sliding glass doors in the next week or two and I need to get a replacement door for the construction project. While I an giving this company only a 1 star review, I would like to say that the sales rep I met at an Atlanta Travel Show, who told me about their services and set up the appointment, was very nice, friendly, upbeat and positive, and he gets 4 stars from me. The only reason he didn't get 5 stars as the company doesn't let them get into any details about the estimate visit, so he was just able to refer me to their Bill of Rights and Ratings brochure. Relocated to Texas and decided to buy a house and not pay rent for the short duration that I am required to be here. I ignored the cracked glass in one window, bb gun in another and fog in 3 others that I thought was on purpose because I knew the house was temporary and still livable since the previous owner lived with it. Got scolded by my dad for buying a house that had faulty windows so I found this company on google. Kevin (rep?) was nearby and educated my partner and scheduled another guy to come while I was off. During this time, he did not close the door completely and my cats escaped! Luckily they did not run away - I would've been pissed. Sales guy comes (David S) for a free quote and 5 hours later.. I get a quote. I honestly had no expectations and should have read previous reviews. Homegirl does not have 5 hours to spare on my only day off and I had a test to take later that evening. Anyways, I thoroughly appreciated the education about windows and learned a lot which I am grateful for. He started off with how the company started and its mission. Then moved on to explaining the different types of windows and what it felt like and meant. He also inspected pretty much everything and educated me about sap and wood and gas and a lot. He spoke to my realtor that makes pretty much all my financial house decisions since she has to sell the house in 2 years. He probably repeated himself 3-4 times to make sure we understood everything. Like Kevin, my cats escaped again because the door wasn't fully closed by him but luckily, they didn't run away. I also found out he was allergic to cats but stuck through it - I felt so bad at the end because his allergies were not benign. David is a great sales guy. I would hire him. This was my first experience of having a stranger come in and advertise a product. Maybe this is a Texas thing? In the end, I signed to proceed and he asked me if I would cancel because it looked bad on his end and he only had one person cancel so if I was planning to cancel then to do it now rather than later. This is where the guilt comes in. I got quoted ~1k per window. Pros - Pay after the last service is complete - App to track progress - 50-year warranty - Equivalent to insulation - 3-day cancelation after signing up for the discount - Quality and service based on demo Cons - 5 hours of my day - First-time offer that you have to sign or you lose the discount - that's a lot of pressure - Cost of window replacements for a temporary home - Credit check even though you are not planning to finance = understandable because they don't have you pay until the end of the service vs leaving a deposit - Mixed reviews. With such a big investment you want the risk factors to be low. I wasn't pleased with the negative reviews but also understand growing up with a family business that some reviews are just hurtful and mean. These though seemed warranted. In conclusion, I would use this company for windows for my permanent home in NYC. I love their mission and organization. I think their prices are reasonable for the service and quality they offer. They are quite transparent about that as well - being the middle guys. With all that said, I regret to say I did have to cancel but only because my partner's dad is a contractor and when I told him the quote I received, he thought I was crazy for spending that amount for a home I was planning to be in for only 2 years. These windows are very good but, I felt that we were mislead on a few items. The salesperson said that we would not need our solar screens because that already has a tint built into them. That is true but they do not block out the sun like a solar screen does. You cannot add the solar screens to the windows, by doing so that will void out the warranty. So with that in mind, we had to tint some of our windows. The ones that were in the living room, at certain times of the day, you could not watch the TV. The second thing that the salesmen said was that it would stop unwanted noise. That is false. It is a good thing that we live in a very quiet neighborhood. He also said that it would keep that summer heat from entering the rooms. That is also false. We live in Las Vegas. So far I have not notice any different yet. The most important reason for my review is after spending over 30,000.00 we were lead to believe that these windows are energy efficient. They are not! In 2023 the tax write off was changed to the windows now needs to be triple pane to be energy efficient. No one mention that these windows would not qualified for a tax refund. My parents are 82 and 83 and did not understand what they were signing and are now worried about giving out personal information. I have been trying to contact V. Glover to cancel this contract; however, I have not been able to reach anyone. It is distressing that your representatives might take advantage of elderly people just to make a sale. I would appreciate it if someone would give me a call to help resolve this issue because it is the right thing to do. We are supposed to take care of the elderly, not exploit them. My parents are now stressed and my mom has been crying and upset for hours because she is worried about how this will affect them. TRUST is a big issue regarding my interactions with Power HR. When the work was first done in August 2022. I had high hopes that the work would be done accurately. The siding was not as expected. The shutters are not at all a decent replacement for the originals. The worker argued with me about that issue and tried to convince me that they were just like the previous ones. They are all shorter. I was promised replacements by two of the "Quality Assurance Managers" in September 2022, but never got a call back and never got replacements. A panel of the siding came off and I reported it to Power and when I inquired about the shutters, I was told that a worker would come out to replace all and that I wouldn't need to be home. Now this worker explains to me that this panel damage was not caused by regular wear and tear and that I would be charged next time...so much for the LIFETIME WARRANTY. He told me my appointment was at 2pm and that I was supposed to be on site. He also explained that the replacement shutters would be longer and they are, but they look a lot better than the previous shutters that were too short. The shutters in their brochure are very clearly the correct size, but it seems odd that the company sizes differ from the standard. Would I recommend this company? NO. Would I use them again for any other remodeling work? NO. I'm disappointed, disillusioned, and done. read more

Not terribly happy with this company... The door was not installed correctly from the beginning. They cannot fix the issue until the middle of December. So I guess we'll have a large gap in between our door this winter, that's great. Terrible customer service. They do not go above and beyond for their clients. Nothing but problems from the beginning. Warning: Scam Sales Tactics. After the salesperson, Jonny showed up 20 mins late, he proceeded to take an hour and a half to take pictures of all the things wrong with our house when we only asked for the windows to be replaced. We had no idea it would take this long, so my wife had to leave. The salesperson refused to give me a quote and wanted me to set a sales appointment for later on to get a quote. This was a huge waste of time. This is a massive company, and it shows they do not care about people or their customers. It's all about the money. We had our downstairs installed first and any small issues such as a tiny hole on the screen was immediately replaced, no issues. We've been doing some DIY project remodeling around our house, but didn't trust ourselves with things like siding, windows, and doors due to the impact of we fail to get waterproofing correct. We first used Power back in 2018. They quickly earned our trust. They do pre-install inspections, have a good install crew, and always do post-install inspections. We've had them back out for 6 more projects since then. They warranty their work and always check and make sure things are still working and fix them if there's any issue. The sales people make you feel pressured into doing business with them The measured several times and still brought a window that was the wrong size and I have been having a hard time getting that window installed They also tore out my alarm wire when I let them know before they started. I have never worked with a group of people who consistently did not listen which is why I will never work with them. After a very long 3 weeks of a family emergency, I had someone ring the doorbell when I was going to take a nap. I let him know through the door to leave the information at the door or mailbox. He wouldn't take that as an option and kept pushing to have an estimate. I let him know that I was going through a family emergency (which was a death but it wasn't their business) and instead of following directions, he continued to ask for my phone number, call me there instead, then transfer me to another representative to go through a whole slew of questions about windows. Only to keep talking to me after the representative left. Then he wanted to say if you don't want to move forward let me know now as it makes me look bad. What?! You would think they would ask this before the transfer or listen to all the other times I said it wasn't a good time. They also ask WAY too many personal questions for an estimate. It is NONE of their business and it was a disservice because it made me not want to work with them. This is an estimate. I repeatedly told anyone on the phone that I would make a decision at a later date. You don't need to know anything about my credit, everyone who lives in the home, or any other information about me. Make the appointment and move on. Collect that information at the appointment and when I want to move forward. On the day of the appointment, they called and said it would be an hour. It was not an hour. I told the tech we would only be interested in the bottom windows and instead he also quoted the whole house. 3 HOURS later the representative is still at my house during a work week asking for feedback on why we don't want to sign for $60k+ windows right now. Are you kidding me?! He kept asking the question in a different way after I told him we would think about it. I honestly wanted to tell him to get out of house. It took all my energy not to lose my temper and reiterate that I had no plans to pay now and I didn't care that the price would go up. This was not an immediate priority. Advertising (door to door knocking included) is about reaching customers in a moment that they are receptive not forcing someone down a line for your quota. You won't push me. I'll just end up wasting your time and energy because I am not changing my mind when you show disrespect of my time and don't listen. The company would have benefited from leaving the information like I asked and I would have gotten back to them when I was in a better frame of mind and at a better time to move forward. Overall they don't listen to their customers during the initial phase and they don't respect your time so I can't imagine they would listen or respect it during the process. I'll just go with one of their competitors, regardless of price, when it is the right time for me. read more
