We are beyond happy with our new door and gutters installed by Power. We had wood rot on our front door and it was on our to do list for so long. A Power representative came by to introduce himself because they were doing work in the neighborhood. The signup was beyond easy and we were scheduled to be installed quickly. We were able to select every detail of the door down to type of metal for the door knob. The installers were employees of Power and not another 3rd party vendor like other companies. The communication with the company has been amazing as well. I am so proud of our new door. Thanks Power! read more

I can only speak to initial contact, but Chase was extremely helpful in explaining their materials and engineering, and was up-front about every cost and possible overruns. He gave me as much time as he could to come to a decision. I ultimately decided not to go with them because the price was almost double another local roofer. Power's roofing was certainly higher quality, I just could not justify the cost. The -1* is because of the corporate-level pricing structure. Costs increasing 30-40% because you can't sign a contract the same day is completely unnecessary, and ultimately could have cost them this sale. I know this, because my company does it as well, and it costs us numerous sales. While I know this is marketing, it feels like a penalty for having the audacity to want multiple estimates before starting an incredibly expensive project. The representative himself didn't make me feel this way, to be clear. He was extremely understanding, and made every effort to indicate he wasn't pressuring me. But reps don't set prices. Reps don't set discount rates. Corporate does. read more

I filled out a form for window installation online. This company calls starting at 8am the next day. Everytime I answer the phone, the person on the other line hangs up. So because of the multiple calls I google the number then start reading the reviews. Boy oh boy. I don't need this headache. I'm grateful for the divine intervention, cuz this number is now BLOCKED. read more

We had the majority of our windows replaced and it was overall an excellent experience--Power was upfront, straightforward, very professional and courteous, and, most importantly, did an excellent job with the install of a great product. Highly recommend! read more

Omg what a long sales pitch and really crazy negotiation tactics that makes no sense to me. I was quoted astronomical numbers for relatively inexpensive stuff to fix. No follow up. The amount of hours spent trying to sell me would probably equal discount of the price I felt comfortable to pay. Really nice folks but honestly it didn't make sense to me the sales technique and all of their marketing materials need help to explain the why which I told to sales person. Sales person comes to house like 7:30pm does all the measurements and bangs nails on my granite counter into wood board with their glass late like 9pm when mother in law trying to sleep in adjacent room kinda tells you something why I asked for a discount up front for first project. 7:30pm sales person arrives to 1am have me ask for more reasonable offer w/o manager to contact me. I was called on my phone and my wife was called on her phone to make sure we were going to be available for the 7:30pm appointment. Follow up? read more

We went with Power to replace about half our windows. It was a very smooth process from start - someone knocking on our door - to finish - our amazing new windows! Super happy with the professionalism and expertise across the board. Will definitely consider Power for other projects. Thanks to Nnamdi, Jackson, John and install team, and Leigh for making this easy! read more

Professional, honest, great customer service and reliable. We had a great experience.

Very pleased with choosing this company for our window project. Very professional and very thorough. From start to finish!

Mike came to my home to ensure quality and answer any questions we may have with regards to the window replacements. Besides performing his actual duties, he went above and beyond, addressing questions unrelated to the current project, and provided invaluable insight on improving my home, and resolving issues for other factors not even covered by power. A very good experience! read more

This company hires a bunch of millennials and tells them their time is too valuable to meet with only one homeowner. Super hard sales pitch and overpriced. All there Glassdoor reviews and Google Reviews are from internal company sources. Yelp is the only place monitoring this well enough. read more

Complete joke through and through. Everything in their presentation was contradictory. They highlight that the biggest frustration in the home remodeling industry is lack of communication-- how about he fact that PHR completely miscommunicated how much of my time they planned on wasting. 4 hours people... 4 HOURS. We genuinely needed some windows replaced, but now having sat through the tortuous session of their PowerPoint presentation along with them telling us our roof had no less than 6 leaks and needed to be replaced immediately and quoting us $34k no thanks, not interested. ESP given the fact that our independent inspector not 6 months ago told us our roof was in great shape. You guys, if I can offer any amount of advice just please don't event entertain these guys. They won't take no for an answer and will WELL out stay their welcome. We said no multiple times, said we had yet to eat dinner and I even started getting ready for bed and our rep still didn't leave until 10:30pm hit and i literally demanded it. I don't event blame the sales reps or the poor community manager that is going to respond to this post and make every excuse in the book- I used to work for a scammish company myself so I get it. When you all decide you can/want to do better call me. I place sales and marketing/social media specialists for a living and would love to help you work for a real reputable company that won't make you try to pressure people to buy until they kick you out of their home. read more

The windows in my 1950 house needed replacing. Two young men were doing a neighborhood canvas so I arranged to see their salesman for information about their product and the salesman made a very informative presentation which convinced me to invest. The windows are lovely, installation has been done very well. I am very happy with the product and would highly recommend its purchase. read more

Canvassing the neighborhood may not always be the best way of getting your contractor for home remodeling BUT if Power drops by don't miss this opportunity. Our window install ( 35+windows) was a project we had to have so when the sales guys stopped by I took a chance. I can not tell you how glad we did. Super professional, subject matter experts and service with a smile Best experience ever and the price was right If you can tell them your vision they can create you canvass! Power Home Remodeling is an amazing company. They came out and gave us quotes for a few projects we had for our home. Once we decided on which projects and when they were timely and quick. The quality of their products is outstanding but after installation customer satisfaction of the products can be confusing and overwhelming. So to sum it up their customer satisfaction is lacking. Per my experiences so far with Power Home Remodeling the number one focus is the performance of the product. Not on how the performance of the product needs to be user friendly in the homeowners home. What good is it if there is conflict. After the product is installed it appears to be the homeowners problem if there are problems that occur per the installation? Presently the windows are open to this situation... read more

Brandon McGlawn at Power Home Remodeling was very helpful and thorough. He explained the whole process in detail and answered every question. Brandon was very honest and provided info on our home to have even if we decided to take our business elsewhere. I am very satisfied with the attention to detail this company provides. read more

It started off as many reviewers before me mention, a door to door salesman. The guy seemed nice and having 60+ year old windows on our recently purchased home, we were indeed in the market for some new windows. He started off with the basic name, phone number type questions. Then progressed to my spouse and how often we're home, what time do we come and go? Seemed to be a little more intrusive the further along we got in the conversation. I figured it was a sales thing and just have rather generic answers, still interested in the free quote though... He then calls his scheduler and confirms all of the same information again. The scheduler asked when a good time was for both my wife and I to be home to do the estimate. I explained my wife has 0% interest in this type of process and leaves these decisions fully in my hands. That apparently wasn't good enough for the scheduler. She continued asking me dates and times for the two of us to be together. I tried explaining to her that if my wife was forced to be present for this estimate, we probably won't ever be getting new windows. So instead of just having a basic understanding, she then tells me they will call me back later to gather the information for when the two of us will be together... I mean come on, I get that for your sales reasons you want the two of us together, but you're over selling this and seemingly speaking from a script. After reading the reviews on here it all came together. This is just a high pressured sales company that happens to install windows and other items on the home. I was genuinely interested in buying an entire home full of windows, but, you guys lost me just on basic principal. Also reading your responses to these complaints just shows your high level of incompetence. Instead of being understanding to people's complaints, you make excuses for every single one of them. It's pathetic. read more

Working at home when an uninvited solicitor from this company knocked on my door. When I told him I wasn't interested in their services, he became rude and would not leave until I threatened to call the police. I have since learned that this company is notorious for this behavior, when we do decide to renovate our windows, it won't be with them. read more

We loved that we found this company at Sams Club! Everyone we talked to was very personal and friendly! Once they came out to our house and started discussing pricing difference between companies we were sold! Especially after the visual presentation! I was amazed at the quality of their windows! We finally had them put in and i couldn't be happier with how everything looks!! We LOVE them! read more

I'm surprised that anyone falls for the high pressure bait-and-switch sales tactics used by this company. On two separate occasions different sales people came to my house to give me a quote for siding and windows. They both gave an extremely high estimate that is good for a year, and a slightly more reasonable estimate "that is only good if you sign today". I explained to both sales people that I would not approve any work unless I talk to my bank first, but that didn't stop them from trying to kill me with a PowerPoint presentation and wasting my time. Everything about the sales process raised red flags for dealing with this company. I'm glad I didn't sign anything with them because it legitimately felt like I was being conned into purchasing something overpriced without being given the opportunity to do any research first. read more

So glad I said no to the guy at the door and that I didn't give him my phone number (even though he was extremely pushy). After reading the reviews here I obviously spared myself a huge headache. Not this girl LOL. I'll be getting my windows somewhere else from a company that understands the meaning of the word "No". I think it's funny that directly after each bad review there is a 5 star review on here. What bullcrap. Change the way you do business and you'll probably really get some business and some good reviews lol read more

Unprofessional. A young man came by yesterday and insisted that my husband and me be here for a quote. Never came nor called. Don't waist your time on this company. read more

The sales pitch was longer than buying all my vehicles combined. We were ready to buy, but 4 hours later I had lost any and all interest. Guys were exceptionally nice and professional, but did not seem to listen when we said we were on a time crunch. I told the sales rep I just wanted measurements and price quotes. I lead off with the fact that I only had about an hour to spare and that I did not need to see the demos and what not. Yet, it was one thing after another. I understand I am making a big purchase and I understand what is involved. I'm just not sure what the top executives are pushing down on these sales guys. It was a brutally long one sided discussion. Just really made me not want to purchase anything from the company. read more

Power Home and Remodeling was a great experience from the start. We had a wonderful "Human Being" London Tilghman who showed up for an evening appointment in the rain and gave 110%. We had an abundance of questions regarding gutters and windows which required her to go outside into rainy weather more than once. She was a total champ but also made it feel like she was enjoying the process and believed in the product whole heartedly. She truly laid out all of our options for quality and design choices and hung with us until 11pm going over the pricing and options between financing or paying in full which she also did with the best attitude and energy. The pre install representative the installers and customer service all along the way was amazing and above board. We had a quality control assessment after install and it was a great experience to have someone physically come and walk around outside and ask if we were truly happy and would we like any changes before closing out. Our experience debunked every myth about bad contractors and that is priceless. The Lifetime Warranty is the icing on the cake! Give them a try they have options for everyone. read more

Sells guy was great. We ended up going with siding. The 2 guys that came out to do the work.... they where on time but didn't finish the job in the 3 days that I had agreed on. They left ladders and other stuff in front of the house all weekend. They did come back Monday and finish the job. On Wednesday the QA came out to take a look. He was great. read more

was given a quote for $21 and change or $19 signing that night. We decided not to go with the product because we needed time to do additional research. At that point the rep gave us an option to have our house photographed with before and after photos by doing this it would bring the number down to $17 and change. We still declined. At this point the rep offered to take another $1,000 off. So if you are considering this company make sure you get the employee cost which is a bit lower then the original number. The rep makes you believe that their product is superior by indicating how their windows are superior to other windows out there. This is not the case. you can find a similar product for the same cost. As any company do your homework and get multiple quotes. read more

These guys showed up on time, were clean, friendly and made this a painless process. 10/10 would use again and recommend. Love my windows

Very pricey, compared to the competition, but I was willing to pay to get better customer service maybe better quality. Can't speak to their work cause we never go there, but I can speak to their customer service. I had a leak on one of the windows which was one of my main concerns, so when they came to sign the contract I made sure to emphasize that this needs to be fixed and they promised me that they would, also said "you can give me a call any time we will take care of you." Pre-inspection day I am told they don't deal with leaks and that I would have to fix it myself and that they lied to me. So that's what I did, I found someone to come and fix the leak. Now I am trying to call them and I cannot get to my point of contact for a week. They can't even reach out to my HOA to ask a question. I finally reach out to someone ask to deduct the cost of fixing the leak that they promised they would fix and they are being very condescending back. Apparently I miss understood what they said. On one email they are telling me they would have fixed it and in the next they are telling me that's not what they do and that I misunderstood. Had to cancel the project. I would work with someone who lies to me or at the very least don't know what they are talking about. read more

PowerHome Remodeling were absolutely superb with our window installation. From the estimation to completion every step of the project was professional and to the highest standard. Not only was the estimate incredibly accurate but at the preinstall measurement step, they recalculated the materials needed and lowered the price!
