Baked brie wrapped in puff pastry, topped with pepperjelly, pecans and sliced apples.

We had a wonderful evening at POUR Restaurant & Bar in Lafayette. Our server, Isabelle, was fantastic -- attentive, friendly, and made the night feel special. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful weather while sipping cocktails (1942 Old Fashioned, Conundrum and Scout's Honor red blends), sharing the Baked Brie appetizer, Grilled Chicken Breast entrée, and finishing with the Molten Chocolate Cake. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We'll definitely be back!

Terrific food! Great outdoor and indoor seating. Dog friendly. Great for friend gathering, or couples dateday. The house Pono noir ( pellegrini) is the best tasting Pinot I've had in a couple of years.

Food was good but service was the worst. Literally there for like 2 and half hours and we didn't need to be. Very cute restaurant, wonderful atmosphere and great neighborhood but the service was baaaaad and slow.

Yes this is the bone that choked me, but the waiters response was "oh...." besides the bone how was everything else? WTF?

Well I appeared to be a nice place, unfortunately after an unfortunate meal I won't be returning. Choking was not my idea of a great meal. They source their products of poor quality and it's unfortunate because the location and setting of this restaurant should give it a leg up on asking for high end prices. Look at the pics, and the final disposition is below. Don't worry I asked for the Manager and he said "well I told the waiter to take it off your bill".....really??? Full disclosure the Manager did comp the dinner.....but only because I made him feel guilty for their poor handling of this situation.

I've eaten here 3 times and the food is good. Last night I got the filet, ordered medium rare, and it was undercooked. The price was steep, $40. I wasn't pleased. Not great value, IMO. The chimichurri fries were delicious. The Brussels also very good. The catfish bites with homemade tartare sauce were excellent. A buddy had the shrimp tacos which looked tasty. Several others at the table had the tuna and it definitely had visual appeal. I'll be back but not for the Filet.

Delicious Brussels sprouts and strawberry basil French 75! Ordered the shrimp and corn soup also. Great atmosphere

Shrimp and corn soup was so delicious and warmed the soul. Brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes were spot on. Also enjoyed two strawberry basil French 75s. Great spot.

Had the opportunity to eat here with friends a few weeks ago and can't wait for the next opportunity. The place was packed so we started our evening outside on the patio with wind whipping around us. There were only two heaters and they didn't afford much comfort to the ten or so tables. We got ourselves on the list for inside and ordered cocktails and appetizers to begin our wait. The craft cocktails were delicious and the wine cards ingenious for those who didn't have a preference and wanted to sample. The charcuterie plate was just okay, small with fairly standard choices and the Tasso egg rolls that held so much promise came up short on this trip. We were pressed to find any evidence of Tasso though two of our dinner companions had had an earlier experience that made them a must have as they were a perfect cross of cuisines. The crab cakes were winners as were the oysters and were gobbled quickly. We moved inside just in time to order entrees and our delightful waiter followed (he was great fun). We ordered a variety of items off the menu and hit a few outstanding dishes starting with my corn Michu with seared scallops with an herbal gastrique. Oh my goodness, all that goodness! The scallops were beautifully seared, tender and sweet. The corn Michu was something I had never had before and I felt like there had been a hole in my life. The corn was mixed with translucent onions and cajun sausage and spice and a lovely complement to the scallops. I cleaned my plate. My companion had a beautifully grilled steak atop asparagus and potatoes draped with a compound butter that melted in her mouth and was perfectly done if the speed in which it disappeared is an indicator. The only downside to the entrees was a tomato, basil grilled cheese sandwich that lacked the requisite melty cheese and was so buttery that it overwhelms the sandwich. All in all a good meal.

Great cocktails, atmosphere and staff. The burgers here are some of the best in town. Their old fashioned is top notch, as well.

The thai boneless wings and the shrimp tacos are so good. I ordered both on Waitr and got $5 off using code Local5!

The pork chop was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, incredibly tender, and honestly tender enough to cut with a fork. It had a great char from the grill that added so much flavor, and the pickled peppers on top cut through the richness of the pork perfectly. The dirty rice underneath reminded me of my mom's rice dressing and soaked up all the juices from the chop. It was one of the best pork chop dishes I've had. My wife ordered the smoke fried chicken, and it was also excellent. The crust was crispy while the chicken stayed juicy and flavorful. The sweet potato biscuits were light and delicious, and the pepper honey tied everything together nicely. For my taste, it leaned just a little on the sweet side, but it was still a very enjoyable dish. My daughter ordered the Social Cheeseburger with just meat and cheese. She loved it, and I was impressed too. Even with such a simple order, the burger was juicy, well seasoned, and served on a fantastic bun. She and my wife both could not stop talking about the hand cut fries. They were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and some of the best fries we've had in a while. From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. We left very impressed and will definitely make a point to stop here whenever we are in the Lafayette area.

This is one of my Wife and I's top 5 favorite places in Louisiana…read more Their menu as far as apps and main dishes go can fluctuate. More specifically their flatbreads and loaded fries, which I do not currently see on their website. Most of the time they have loaded fries which in the past have consisted of gravies and sauces. One preparation we ordered came with pickled okra. The fried green tomatoes are also very good, especially to start with or share. As far as main dishes go we have tried the following: All Hail Caesar (Flatbread) Spicy Chicken Sandwich Smoke Fried Chicken-N-Biscuits Social Cheeseburger The Mac n Cheese is a must get as a side in my opinion. One of the first times we visited they had carrot cake as a dessert, we still talk about that carrot cake today. If you are a sweet tea lover this place has a twist which I love. Their sweet contains brown sugar and mint, get it, try it, it's delicious.
