What a horrible experience!!! Showed up at approximately 545 PM to enjoy a nice meal and a few cocktails to celebrate my birthday. There were 5 other customers, and 3 employees in the building. Noone on the patio. There was no greeting as we sat ourselves (party of 2). Tables were dirty. Ignored until I approached a staff member to place our order. We ended up moving from a tall table to the far side of the bar. Our drinks came and so did the bill for entire order. NOT COOL! Had to ask for straw too. When the food finally showed up, my order was wrong. Cook said he must have misunderstood. Yes you did.. Returned to the kitchen to fix it. He just took it off the plate and rolled it in wrap and brought it back. Needless to say, it was awful. But he did offer more dressing to help wash it down. Never saw a staff member again. Female bartender's friends were across the bar from us and they all seemed to be having a fun time. Got a lot of attention. They were loud and talking trash. We were totally ignored, and once we had enough, we just walked out. NEVER TO RETURN!! We live around the corner and have visited this location many many times. We want to love it, because it's so close and has food, drink and indoor/outdoor spaces. BUT, this is not the first time service has been terrible. Prices have gone up, quality and services down down down. So sadly my neighborhood bar and grill is not a place I will frequent again. Yall should be ashamed of yourselves and need to do better for your older patrons. I guess old money isn't as good as young money. If I could give negative stars I would. To start off my husband and I arrived at legends on Johnston Street we sat down for minute thinking somebody was going to come to our table and ask us what we wanted to drink. Well nobody came to the table so I walked inside ask the girl behind the bar for three menus because I said there's three people sitting outside I said y'all don't have waiters and waitresses she said no we don't. So she throws three menus in my face and I'm like OK I just let it slide because I could see she was busy. So I go outside to tell my husband what happen and then my friend shows up and I told her and she was like well that's weird most places have waiters and waitresses waiting on people so I told both of them we have to order our food inside and go inside to get our food The food was taking a while to come to our table so I went inside to go try and cancel our orders. The girl inside is still busy. I'm trying to get her attention like five times by saying, ma'am, ma'am, ma'am she totally ignores me I see some food come out of the kitchen when I finally got her attention I asked her is that our food and she responds it's a possibility, so I bring my food and my friends food outside my friend looks at her food and says her order is completely wrong I go back inside to tell the girl that the order is wrong. She ignores me again so I walked in the kitchen, slam the door open and I tell the boys in the back I said I need some service here because the girl in front is incompetent. I asked for a refund and one of the guys tells me we're not able to do that I said how are y'all not able to give a refund I said all you have to do is take the card and put the money back on the card we're not able to do that so I walked out pissed off saying I'm calling corporate on y'all. Best beef burger I have had in a very long time. Service was good. The Ambiance was homey considering we got our order to go.

Went at around 3:30 on a Friday afternoon and they were steady with what appeared to be regulars. I ordered the chicken quesadilla which is supposed to have mushrooms and I did not see any. My husband got the bacon burger, bacon was soft and burger was charred, lacking luster, nothing to brag about. Our daughter got the Hawaiian and said it was yummy. Perfect bar to grab a drink. Very clean from what I can see. If you sit in the booths or tables you have to go to bar for service. The bartender was very nice. I have to start by saying that they have AWESOME happy hour deals. I think just about everything was "buy 1 get 1" including most of their bottled beers. They have a pretty limited selection of beers on draft though. I was visiting the area and was looking to try some local brews. I think at that time they only had 2 locals and an Abita beer on tap. I also went to Legends hoping for some greasy bar food and was looking forward to some nachos, fries, or chicken wings. They don't really have bar food at this establishment. They more had sandwiches and instead of fries had bags of chips. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a good place to have a few beers during happy hour times. read more

Great atmosphere. It's laid back and clean. 18 and up only inside. My husband and I clash about opinions about a good burger, but we agree on Legends burgers... Seriously, grab a burger. Their hawaiian burger is AMAZING. I do not add any condiments because I let the seasoned meat and pineapple speak for itself. I've had the tuna poboy but it wasn't my fave. My sister swears by them so I'd say try them out. Come early if you want a spot, they get pretty busy at night!! read more

I have been here half a dozen times for a beer or two with friends but today we finally came in and ate dinner too. The bacon cheeseburger was good and we also got the chicken quesadillas. The only complaints I would have are there are no appetizers or fries, which are almost must haves for a bar and grill. No wings, no sliders, nachos, etc. they have 8 to 10 entrees and some salad options. They also have bags of chips vs fries or onion rings. Disappointed upon arrival. Walked into and was not greeted by the bartender. My pregnant girl wanted to sit at a booth but there were dirty dishes on the table so I had her sit at one of the tall tables. Bartender continues to talks to a guest and did not acknowledge that we were waiting for her service. She just looked at us then walked into the back kitchen. I've worked in the industry for years so I understand if you're busy and aren't able to greet your guest in time but just to go about as if we weren't even there I had to walk out. Non-existent service. One bartender for over 50 people. Been waiting to pay my tab for 30 minutes and bartender has not left the cash register. Food is decent but just typical a bar fare. It's not terrible but I wouldn't recommend it. read more
