I have never really been here before until my friends decided to go for festival. I did have a really fun time I would like to come back, the atmosphere was so nice and most bartenders were very nice besides this one guy with tattoos and a short beard. I stopped by greenroom after festival and my friend and I are masc lesbians. I waited 15 min for this guy and he completely ignored us and wouldn't even look at us. I asked my other friend who is a straight pretty blonde girl to order for me and as soon as I took a step back behind her. He came up to her and took "my order". While still completely ignoring me and not even looking at me. I don't know what his deal was and I didn't think much about it until it continued to happen three days in a row. I am 23 years old, it is kind of odd that I had to ask my friends to order my beer for me because of him. I am a bartender myself, so I understand being "busy" but this dude would be standing there doing nothing and still ignoring me but as soon as a new customer came up next to me he went straight up to them within 5 seconds and took there order. One person was even nice enough to point to me and say she was here first and he looked at me then looked away and it was that moment when I realized he is intentionally doing this. I am from out of state and I have no idea who this man is. So I don't know why he pretended I didn't exist. My only thought is, since he ignored me and another masc lesbian but served our straight friends when we stepped behind them, he is discriminating. Which is a crazy word to say considering the pride flags hung everywhere. I would like to come back one day but after thinking about the situation all weekend and wondering why. My feelings are hurt. read more

I went to the green room and I had two beers. The first one was a regular draft canebrake. They charged my card $20 for a six dollar beer. The second one was a draft special that was only three dollars. I am waiting for the $20 charge to drop off in my bank, if not, y'all will be hearing from me and if this is not rectified I won't go back. Otherwise, it's a cool place. Great local place to hang out with an amazing bar staff! If you are looking for a divey, smokey, good old fashioned place to play pool, sing karaoke (on Wednesdays) or just chill, this is the spot in Laffy. The prices are reasonable and the bar service is top shelf. If you forget your cigarettes, don't worry, just take a few deep breaths and you'll be good to go. I love joking about it, but hey, if I can put up with it, there must be a good reason. It is a little off the beaten path and certainly not touristy. read more

Definitely a great spot to go grab drinks, people watch and enjoy a relaxing evening. Not too loud, not too crowded, (obviously depending on the day you go but for the most part). Great selection of beers both on tap and in bottles, at great prices. Definitely a dive bar, and although it used to be pretty smokey, now that's no longer an issue. read more

Average. Typical bar. Good room to move about, but we went there when it was dead and it looked bigger then it probably is. Bar itself wasn't too bad and the tenders were well aware if you needed a refill. Not a bad spot. Worth stopping by and moving on. read more

Fun place to go for pool but the male bartenders and bar manager are very unfriendly and rude. A bar is supposed to be a social place to have fun but they are very serious and seemingly don't want to be there. I won't be going back. read more

A great little dive. I usually stop by here when I am in Lafayette for work. It seems to have the best selection in town. The place is pretty much a dive bar with some good beers. A wood bar, concrete floor, and lots of smoke. There are some pool tables as well. It can get pretty busy during the weekends. The service is always attentive and enthusiastic. I also enjoy the beer list. It has all the beers with a good description of each. Very helpful. On to the beer. They only have about 6-8 taps. Mostly Abita, but they have gotten a few others over the past year. Brooklyn Lager was on tap the last time I visited. The bottle selection is really good though. Lots of North Coast including the stout, Old Stock, and Pranqster. RJ Rockers is new, and a big surprise for me. They also have some Troegs every once in a while. Lots of Belgian, German, and British beers as well. Overall the bottle selection is great, the tap selection not so much. One of the only bar that cares about their beer selection in town. I am taking a star away cause it is one of the smokiest bars I have ever been to. read more

I love you green room. the atmosphere is great the beer selection is even better. So much to choose from they even have saki pwaahaha. Awesome selection on tap. the music is just as awesome as the artwork. Best place to watch the Saints two reasons they cook bar b q and when the saints make me too nervous I play shuffle board. speaking of the bar entertainment is plentiful. They have a beer club every month where reps from the beer company come in and let you drink samples of 5 different beers. By far the best bar to visit on Jefferson St... Amazing beer selection, pool tables, shuffleboard, foosball and an eclectic crowd every night. Do yourself a favor and come during a weeknight where it's not quite as packed, you can have some great conversations with almost anyone in the bar. Weekends are fun too, but can get very packed. My favorite bar downtown. Excellent beer choices (beer club is awesome as well), shuffle board, pool. Very relaxed place, not full of kids, my kind of dive. Best bar in Lafayette. GREAT selection, great prices, AMAZING artwork on the wall. And the only place here in town that I have found shuffleboard. But, DO NOT WASTE your money in the jukebox. Your songs will either never come up or will be skipped if the bar staff doesn't like them. They say they only skip "death metal and gangster rap" which I could understand, but they pass over way more than that. Other than that, I love this place! It will continue to be my number 1 bar pick in Lafayette... I will just save my quarters for the pool tables (which are also great). read more

One of the best bars downtown, great barstaff, no cover, there's usually a place to sit, internet jukebox, pool tables and shuffleboard.

I was impressed with this place because it wasn't too crowded even on a saturday after the game. Good pool tables and speedy service.

Great beer selection, staff is usually pretty nice. Pretty fun place to have a beer and play some pool or shuffleboard (except on weekends, too crowded to play games on weekends).
