Great music, good greasy food and a fun atmosphere. 30 years later, I felt like I had entered a nightmare...minus my teeth falling out. First of all, there was a line to get in. They were only letting people in as people were leaving and from what I could hear of the door man's conversation, the rest room was to the right. So I finally asked the doorman if I was in the correct line but he was so robotic and only asked me for my id then there was a girl who unhooked a rope at the door opening. I went inside. I could only see two people behind the bar and I had previously noticed the outside walk up window had been painted shut years before. He looked back at me and said they had had a visit from the fire department and were told the had to curb their customers from going inside because of the lack of bar tenders and waitstaff.
