We tried the barbecue and sweet chili wings, which were flavorful and delicious. The burger was basic, but generously portioned with a lot of meat. My personal favorite was the chicken tenders. Both the wings and burger came with fries--thicker than regular cuts, but not quite steak fries. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was quick. I've heard they feature live music on weekends. Overall, it's a clean, spacious venue with a great atmosphere. The food is good, though no wow factor.

We came not expecting much, but once we started eating their food, it really changed our mind. The chef did just a great job and the drinks were very playful and reminds of you of a tiki bar. We had the following: -Soy Glazed Spam Musubi - spam, seasoned rice wrapped in nori, topped with sunny side egg -Maye Belle's Wings (Tonkatsu BBQ & Seoul Hot) - both flavors were delicious, and the pineapple relish was bomb -Bun Stuff - gochujang pork belly, sunny side eggs in a bao -Street Corn - char grilled corn, oxaxaca cheese and fixings -Tuna Stack - tuna, guacamole and toppings, served with wonton chips -Gringo Nachos - spam nachos with wonton chips, enough said! -Pork Banh Mi Sliders - pork patty, hawiian roll, banh mi fixings -Blistered Shishito Peppers - these peppers were delicious! -Sticky Spare Ribs - char siu, fall off the bone ribs -Teres Major Tataki - not your average beef tataki, tender and flavorful -Curry Favor - curry rubbed pork belly, kimchi and coconut cream, so good! -Guacamole - served with wonton chips -Maybe Fries - delicious fries with their maybe flakes -Poke Bowl (Tuna) - tuna poke with the fixings Everything we had was delicious! On to the delicious Korean fusion delights. Tuna stack served on the avocado was great, so flavorful, the fried wontons made for a awesome bite. Street corn very good, mix everything together for best bite The pork banh mi sliders was over the top good, the savory of the meat, and sweetness of the slider bun (Hawaiian bread) was a perfect match. Teres major tataki very well prepared and sauce went well. The star of the show was the sticky spare ribs, so tender and you pick the glaze, the char siu marinade made this along with the tonkotsu bbq sauce just added more flavor, also the portion was nice. Will definitely return, we need to try other menu items.

I was visiting from San Diego and really enjoyed this place overall. There are plenty of pool…read moretables and lots of large TVs, making it a great spot to watch sports and hang out. We ordered: * Chicken Tenders & Waffle Fries: The tenders were thick, juicy, and flavorful. The waffle fries were good. They didn't have any seasoning, but they offer an awesome selection of sauces. I used ranch and honey mustard with the chicken tenders, and the barbecue sauce paired great with the fries. * Steak: Cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Pool tables are available to rent for $8 per hour, which is a nice option if you're planning to stay awhile. They also have a great craft beer selection, including Ghost in the Machine from Parish Brewing Company. The food, atmosphere, beer selection, and overall vibe were all great. The owner was also very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the service aspect of our visit didn't quite match the rest of the experience. There was also a bit of confusion regarding one of the pool table rentals. A teenager in our group paid his $8 table fee in cash before leaving and made an effort to let the bartender know he had paid. It's possible the payment was mistaken for a tip or simply overlooked. However, after we had already closed out our tab and paid by credit card, the charge was added to our bill, and we were told the table had not been paid for. I completely understand that mistakes happen, and this seemed more like a misunderstanding than anything intentional. However, I was disappointed with how the situation was handled. We had a tab of over $200 and left a generous tip, so I would have appreciated a little more professionalism and courtesy when addressing the issue. Even if there had been uncertainty about the payment, a more customer-friendly approach would have gone a long way. That said, this experience seemed to be isolated to our interaction with one bartender. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was fun, the beer selection was fantastic, and the owner was genuinely kind. There is a lot to like about this place, and I would absolutely return with just the request of a different bartender.

Somebody cares back there in the kitchen, that's all I'm sayin.' Now, as for what to eat: I haven't had a bad thing yet & I've tried a lot. The salads & burgers are delightful, but my personal favorites are the Grilled Ahi Tuna Wrap (SERIOUSLY, YOU NEED TO TRY THIS), the Grilled Chicken Salad (the seasoning on the chicken is glorious), the Vegetarian Wrap, & the Steak Quesadillas. Zapp's or Sun Chips, rather than fries, are the "side dish" here. I would be remiss not to mention that this is also where you can find the best Frozen Margarita in Lafayette. Enjoy one while you're waiting for your dinner. Prices went up a couple of years ago, but are still very good for what you get. Keep in mind that some of the menu items vary from location to location (there are a few of these places in town), so what you get at one Legend's may not be available at another. I find that everything's better at the original, downtown spot. Service here is that of a bar, so expect long wait times & a loud atmosphere if there's a crowd. They still serve alcohol, after all, & they are not staffed with more than a couple of bartenders & kitchen staff. It's worth the wait, in my opinion. After years of being open, Legend's Annex has not allowed the quality of what it serves to deteriorate in the name of cutting costs. That is precisely why I will be faithful to Legend's Annex for most downtown festivals & other times I want a great meal at a good price.
