Chili Mac
Kyja W.

My husband reminded me that this place recently opened, so I decided to try it on my way home from work. The ambiance is casual and comfortable. To go, I got a combo with Chili Mac & Mama's Meatball sub (skinny, on white bread) with provolone, Italian seasoning, and added hot peppers. Sadly, the drink machine was down, but I did get a lemonade (I mixed both the regular and the strawberry dragonfruit), which was tasty. My chili mac really hit the spot, although I wish it were spicier, but that's just me! The meatball sub was also yummy. The peppers gave it a nice subtle kick and the meatballs and marinara were tender and flavorful. I do wish there were more bread choices, but it's okay! The ladies at the counter were kind and in good spirits. I noticed that they have a health score of 100 which is amazing! I'll definitely be back to try more items.

Meh...just another fast casual sandwich shop trying to replace Panera. Nothing to really scream about. Decent soup and sandwich combos.

Great food, great staff, glad they're in the area. Any competent guest would know to wait at the counter while their food is being prepared.

It's very similar to the ABC sandwich except there's only one piece of toast and the chicken piece seemed a bit larger. Both come with Asian coleslaw. Fries were crispy and fluffy inside. I also got apple soda, tastes like the hichew candy apple flavor. Overall a great spot! Would come again.

My first crack at Taiwanese food left me with so much regret...Regret that I hadn't tried this magical food sooner! What was so special about the America Born Chinese concoction? Before I get into that, let me tell you my soup-2-nuts experience. Parked right in front and noticed several well groomed plants and a very healthy River Birch tree. Just so happens to be my fav tree, so they got off on the right foot. Loved that the menu was in Taiwanese and English. The friendly worker took my order and within 3 minutes I had my lip smacking meal so hot, I had to wait more than 5 minutes for it to cool off. You'll thank me later for this tip, but get two extra napkins , cuz this bad boy be messy! The crinkle fries were nothing short of fantastic. The seasoning was unique and the dipping mayo was perfect. I was hungry but I could tell my gringo belly was no match for this Chinese 5 spice beast. The apple slaw cooled down the habanero sauce and the yard bird was cooked perfect.I guarantee you, you've never had a chicken sandwich like this. I got the mild version but next time I'll up my game. The apple soda was delish but 35g of sugar left me in a coma. I wish I could give this place 6 stars and can't wait to come back here with my son.

The interior was clean, modern, and bright and there were a handful of tables along with the ordering kiosk at the entrance and the counter at the back. All the way home, the delicious odor of the chicken taunted me and when I finally opened the box it tasted equally divine. The outside was wonderfully crisp while the inside was perfectly juicy and savory. I enjoyed the milk bubble tea as well, though it was less remarkable. The dessert was like a cup of silky smooth flan, not very sweet and with no strong flavor, topped with a layer of dark red beans. It was surprisingly good.

Chicken was perfectly crispy. I only wished the burgers came with extra toppings like tomato for free. In addition the brown sugar rice cakes are difficult to have as leftovers - they get firm in the fridge - I tried microwaving them for a few seconds and they inflated and got rock hard, so I had to toss them. Would definitely return for their fried chicken and milk pudding!! The pudding was sooo silky smooth I loved it.

The brisket is "pulled" not sliced and they do a great job of piling it on high! The sandwich was stuffed full of meat, and that pork was juicy and flavorful. The potato salad was so so imo. Though it was chunky and creamy, I didn't like this particular style that was too eggy and had too much mustard. The cookie was pretty tasty as it was soft and fresh. Mac bowl: Mac and cheese with brisket? Yes please. This was the perfect combo as I like both. A great compromise and blend of two scrumptious items for $15. The mac and cheese was indeed cheesy. It wasn't the best I've ever had but pretty tasty as far as southern comfort food goes. Wish there was more of it as this was ordered as an entree. Don't get me wrong, there was a good amount, but the bowl felt like it could have been fuller. The brisket was tender and delectable. And if you dunk it in some BBQ sauce, it added an additional layer of flavor that is making my mouth water now. The hubs was a fan so he went back with a friend. They also serve breakfast too if you're up that early.

Quality/Food: 5 stars: the first time I tried Henri's was the west midtown location down the street from the publix many years ago. It wasnt a good experience. I decided to give them another shot and I really enjoyed everything. I ordered an iced latte and it was crafted to perfection! It was as if I made it myself! I ordered a pastrami, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and it was intoxicating, I had to refrain from wolfing it down. The cherry Danish was good enough to make jesus weep! It was so fresh and moist. My date; he had a bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel, a soft drink from the fountain machine and a blueberry muffin. He was equally in rapture eating as I was. Price point 4 stars; breakfast and pastries (ordered 6) will set you back roughly $55 (not including tip). It was the 2 pastries in store and the 4 to go that was almost half of the check. A little steep but the quality was unmatched. Originally we were going to go to windmill on buford hwy but I dont like the set up and people touching on the items. Henris was the best choice quality and freshness wise, price point similar. Restrooms: 5 stars; clean and tidy. One for the ladies and one for the gents. Restaurant cleanliness: 5 stars: tidy and maintained. Customer service: 5 stars: for it to have been early in the morning, everyone was so friendly and helpful with recommendations. Everyone was well kept and presentable. Overall; I would come back to that location. Great customer service and wonderful dinning experience. Great Job Guys!

The parking situation is kind of weird: the lot is blocked off on one end so it's awkward going in and out. I'd recommend parking in front of the florist next door and walking over to avoid being blocked in because they get plenty of traffic. I come here for a sandwich fix primarily. Haven't had one I didn't like yet. There's a special place in my heart for the media noche though. Their fried foods aren't insanely greasy and carries the actual FLAVA other than oil. They use queso fresco in their cheese empanadas which is kind of a big deal for caribeños (even if by marriage lmao). ~ Sidenote: For the love of God, do not serve me an empanada with reg-deg bagged mozzarella... EEYUCK! Once you have that queso fresco babyyyy you cannot turn back. ~ Anywho, the chicken empanadas were kinda of tough to eat but still flavorful. I'd stick to cheese and beef. YUUUUGE servings of tostones, but they're kind of skimpy with the yuca in my opinion. I won't complain though and just order double when the time calls for it LOL. Getchu some!
