I visited the mall and haven't been in a while so when I wanted something to snack on, I headed to the food court. I saw that this replaced the Mexican place that once was there. Their menu included boba, flavored fries, and Korean corndog. I decided to order their flavored fries (large, regular fries w/ cheddar cheese seasoning) and a large drink. I got my receipt and drink, sat down and waited for my order to be ready. Two more set of customers came after us. Now, those customers got their orders ahead of ours. Looked at the time I put in my order and I've been waiting for more that 20 mins for my fries to be ready. I came up and asked what's taking so long and when is my order going to be ready. He said it's coming, and so I told him I've been waiting for almost 30 mins now at that time and I only ordered fries while those other customers after me got their orders already (I know this because they were sitting next to me). He then told me that they only ordered drinks that's why they got theirs quicker. So I then said they also order fries and corndog. The guy and the girl next to him was in no way going to be told their service was slow, inefficient and not only that looked clueless on what they're actually doing so I stopped arguing. After a few more minutes, they finally finished my order and also about to hand me a drink in which I told them I already got it when I ordered and paid earlier, confused look followed. The large fries I had is in a large container with a paper that holds the fries. I lifted it and I was bamboozled because that paper was tiny compared to the container it's placed in, so you get less amount of what was actually supposed to be LARGE! The cheddar cheese powder was overwhelming, and they need to do some fries:cheese powder ratio adjustment because it was salty and overpowering. I get that this business wanted to be different in this food court, but if you continue with this service and mentality then you will lose customers. I have had flavored fries before, and this does not compare. They need to re-evaluate their customer service, how they need to be prompt with their orders, listen to their customers, and how to make what's in their menu. read more

Have never tried it. Ordered a 1/2 n 1/2 potato dog, 4 piece mozzarella and boba tea. Hot dog had hair on it. One mozzarella stick was empty. Boba was small not much flavor. Asked for a refund on the potato dog and showed the guy the fried hair. He said a lot of people think it's hair but it's not. Brought over the greasy grill to prove me wrong. Even hair on that but hard to see with camera phone. Just wanted to save someone the ick factor. Refunded the hotdog. Total bill was $21 incld. Tip. Better choices at the Food Court. read more

Aight folks this place is weird. Horchata + boba = horchata boba? It tastes ok, novel combo but it could probably be executed better. The bobas themselves are not that flavorful. Also why is the cup shaped like a square? Why is there a ramen corn dog, is that a thing??? Here's a picture too of the actual potato corn dog, it doesn't look like the og Korean stuff. Please take a close look. That ain't look right. I think maybe they cut the fries they already have into little cubes. I didn't try the actual fries even though I know it's their main thing... maybe I'll try it one of these days, maybe I won't. Honestly if you're a a patriot and have a good ol' all-American taste palette for heavy deep fried food, and the melting pot melts so hard that you don't know if this can even be called fast food Asian fusion, then knock yourself out. Overall 4 stars. If you liked potato corner, you will like potato stop. I was very surprised when I saw they were opening a potato stop since I recently moved here from the Bay Area where we had potato corner. I ordered the giga sour cream and onion loopy fries. Portion size was okay, I remember potato corners portions were bigger. Taste was great and as expected fries are made to order - super fresh! Location is good and they have seating for you if you want. The pricing is pretty standard for what it is 8.90 for a giga size. read more

The food is made fresh when you order it. They took the space right next to the doors in the food court. Its a fun atmosphere and the workers and service are nice. The food as far as I can tell is very good. Ive seen potato cheese dogs on the internet and I have to say it DID NOT disappoint. The cheese pull was FANTASTIC and the potato outside was crunchy the hotdog part i think was beef. The other item I tried was the chili cheese fries, a staple anywhere. Again sooo good! They are NOT stingy with ingredients! My fries were absolutely loaded with chili and cheese to an overflowing point and im not mad at it. All in all a good experience for sure. Food was substandard. Service was okay. Ambiance was your typical food court...quick food to go. A corn dog combo with regular fries and a soda is almost $20.00! My wife and I got a corn dog, chicken poppers, and fries for almost $30! Very expensive or at least for the price, you can go to a different restaurant for better quality food. This is however the first Korean corn dog spot in Modesto. Survability in Modesto, I'd say less than 50% because its very expensive for corn dogs, chicken, and fries. read more

It took 35 mins to get my order after I went to ask what was taking so long they move like snails I finally received my one item and I asked for a bag to put it in to go. I'm not sure how to rate because my experience wasn't terrible but could have been better. the person who took my order was very kind but they never told me my wait time. there was only two people yet took quite a long time to get my order with only two customers. they were kind of very slow and the person was telling the coworkers to start the order but they seemed to just be very slow. food was good but they also forgot my sauces. which would be fine but kind of awkward when your expecting your food right away, it's not busy and they didn't really communicate properly. they need to speed up a bit and this is from someone who has worked three fast food jobs and they also seemed confused on what my order was. reading other reviews seems like im not the only one read more

Not sure if they're affiliated with potato corner, but it's similar if not almost a concrete copy of the same type of food. I ordered the chicken tender combo and upsized to the giga with the curly fries. I will say that the food was good. It tasted delicious. The barbecue powder was really reminiscent, if not better than potato corner. But I noticed that I upgraded to the giga and it comes in like a little combo box, but it wasn't really a lot of french fries, but then I seen another patron had ordered a giga and they literally piled it on the cup and it was at least double the amount of what I received in my Combo box. I'm not sure I would order the combo box again because they really didn't pile on the fries and I got the up charge for the giga in the combo box. If anything I'll probably just order them separate in the future. The chicken was very delicious. It was very similar to popcorn chicken at Boba spots and the sweet chili sauce was pretty good too. I would recommend give this place a try, but if you do get the combo box and it doesn't look piled on compared to how they do it in the cup itself, I would probably ask them to do that because it makes no sense to pile it on in the cup, but not in the combo box. I did pay slightly under $20 for the combo box (3 tenders and a giga) and it was like next to nothing potato wise. But I won't entirely knock them because we don't really have a variety of restaurants out here so I'll do my best to support accordingly. I would say 8/10 was my experience. read more
