Horchata boba in a square cup
    Andre F.

Aight folks this place is weird. Horchata + boba = horchata boba? It tastes ok, novel combo but it could probably be executed better. The bobas themselves are not that flavorful. Also why is the cup shaped like a square? Why is there a ramen corn dog, is that a thing??? Here's a picture too of the actual potato corn dog, it doesn't look like the og Korean stuff. Please take a close look. That ain't look right. I think maybe they cut the fries they already have into little cubes. I didn't try the actual fries even though I know it's their main thing... maybe I'll try it one of these days, maybe I won't. Honestly if you're a a patriot and have a good ol' all-American taste palette for heavy deep fried food, and the melting pot melts so hard that you don't know if this can even be called fast food Asian fusion, then knock yourself out. Doesn't taste that bad. But it'll make you question things. What is it? What am I eating? Where am I? Who am I?

The food is made fresh when you order it. They took the space right next to the doors in the food court. Its a fun atmosphere and the workers and service are nice. The food as far as I can tell is very good. Ive seen potato cheese dogs on the internet and I have to say it DID NOT disappoint. The cheese pull was FANTASTIC and the potato outside was crunchy the hotdog part i think was beef. The other item I tried was the chili cheese fries, a staple anywhere. Again sooo good! They are NOT stingy with ingredients! My fries were absolutely loaded with chili and cheese to an overflowing point and im not mad at it. All in all a good experience for sure. I'll bring friends next time.

    Chicken poppers... its weak!

Food was substandard. Service was okay. Ambiance was your typical food court...quick food to go. A corn dog combo with regular fries and a soda is almost $20.00! My wife and I got a corn dog, chicken poppers, and fries for almost $30! Very expensive or at least for the price, you can go to a different restaurant for better quality food. This is however the first Korean corn dog spot in Modesto. Survability in Modesto, I'd say less than 50% because its very expensive for corn dogs, chicken, and fries.

Don't waste your money on the boba drinks here . We left ours on the table because it was trash. $6.25 the size of a small soda. Ordered fries that came soggy, because they never called our number to get it.

This is all the hot Cheetos that was on the mozzarella corn dog, and it was greasy save your money and avoid this place

I was really excited to try this place till I did. Place had 2 customers waiting for an item all I ordered. Was a mozzarella with hot Cheetos. It took 35 mins to get my order after I went to ask what was taking so long they move like snails I finally received my one item and I asked for a bag to put it in to go. The rude employee gets a paper bag and throws it at me across the counter and walks away. Like wth horrible customer service rude rude. And I get home the mozzarella stick corndog with hot hot Cheetos seriously had nothing on it waste of money I'm sure they won't be open long with the poor service everyone receives

    Hot Cheetos corn dog

lol i think the picture speaks for itself! What even is this Went to order and the cashier couldn't even comprehend what we were trying to order. Literally had to ask for a paper and pen! Then the order says to go and instead of putting it in boxes they pilled all 8 corn dogs on top of one another. Definitely not going back

Wow, I was so impressed with the uniqueness of this place! I've been to conveyor belt sushi places…read morebefore but this is the first time I have seen individual hot pots with accompaniments coming to you on a conveyor belt! What a great concept!! Everyone is seated with their own individual hot pot plate to build their own individual hot pot. (Don't worry it does not burn). You choose your basic soup broth, choose the meat you would like, and then start grabbing things off the conveyor belts! It not only is a fun concept, you can get quite creative with how you build your hot pot and choose just the things to your liking. I was amazed that they had very authentic Chinese ingredients to choose from - wood ear, enoki mushrooms, bok choy, different kinds of noodles, fish balls, Napa cabbage, octopus, and lots of different varieties of selfish, plus much much more! I chose the traditional broth and they even had Chinese red dates in it plus wolfberries (sometimes known as Goji berries) in the broth just like what I grew up with The service was just ok, since it was our first time there we had to ask a lady to show us what we were supposed to do. She was helpful, but the servers don't come around very often. That said, the plates and dishes clutter up really fast and they don't come around very often to clear the dishes, for which I would have taken a star off. But my experience there with conveyor belt hot pot was so nice that I'm leaving it at five stars. What I liked best besides the authentic ingredients, is that you can become quite creative to build your own hot pot to your own liking.

Love having my own individual pot and personalizing my broth and spice level. The meat is fresh (1 meat at a time), and the DIY sauce station. Price is reasonable too when you go at lunchtime. Waitress is super nice too.

Today I took a friend out to the Twisted Pig for a meal. This review is first my impressions,…read morefollowed by his. First, we were seated promptly (outside, as the inside was full). This worked fine for us. We had our menus and drinks in a reasonable time, and had a relaxing time throughout. We both had the pulled pork sandwich along with the ice tea. I also had the cup of chili - nicely spiced). I enjoyed my sandwich (skipping the bun, as I am trying to limit carbs). My friend, whom I realized often fusses about the meals we share, was more critical. His comments were "Wrong bun, hamburger bun shoulda been an onion bun" and "How long does it take to make a sandwich?" (The wait time was totally reasonable to me.) He didn't like the potato salad (but ate it all with little time spared). He liked the meat in the sandwich, giving it a 5 out of 5. He liked the service less (I felt it was on point and just fine.) The twisted pig is a good place to eat, if it is noisy inside (as it often is) check out the patio.

The flavors and combinations of how they made their sauce for the brussels sprouts. The little bit of cheese, the roasting, just perfectly. Those Brussels spouts were man. Oh, man, so so good. I mean, I was surprised there were any left at the end of lunch because they were so good. Then there was the deep fried pickles. Pickles are just something that you have to either love Em or you hate Em. But deep fried pickles are just that sour taste that I just have to have. I have to have a sweet and a sour and pickles are just that for us. So we enjoyed them. They were just crispy enpugh on the outside with just a nice firm bite of the pickle, tender. And then that bitterness was really good. And then our main meal came, and there is enough food on that platter for two people to share. So if you're getting it for one, you better be a hearty guy like you gotta be a lumberjack guy to eat this all by yourself. Because this is like a platterful. There is like 6 ribs on that plate, 2 mouds of the pulled pork, 2 big huge scoops of macaroni n cheese and like a bag of those tater tots, then they drizzle, drizzle, drizzle, barbecue sauce. All over it, it was just like mouthwatering. When it hit the table. It smelled so good, it was just amazing. And then we just dove in a little bit, tried this a little bit of that, the ribs fell off the bone. It was so good. Now the restaurant is small and looks like it is a locals kinda spot so it is semi loud with sports and men chopping it up, but there were ladies sitting at various tables and a couple of families so it is semi family friendly if you dont mind the bar aspect that is bigger than the eating area in my opinion. We only seen one staff member on the floor and one behind the bar while we were there, but the service was quick and the ladies were attentive so it was a good experience. The decor needs an update and it had a 4 out of 5 vibe for me, but I rate food not people so I would go back for that.
