Our first time the ambiance it is small to say the least. The staff were friendly. The food the smashed burger was good the coop sauce on it spicy. The perogies were good but I could lose the seasoning it didn't need it. My friend had the buffalo chicken fries she loved. My Mac and cheese fries were bland the fries were really salty ketchup helped a little but. I was disappointed because they had a turkey one but didn't have it. It looks good in pictures but not in person. What a disappointment I don't see myself coming back

They do not take orders over the phone. You either have to go on or order online. Went with the traditional loaded with waffle fries. Waffle fries are seasoned, a smidge too much pepper for my personal liking. Not enough sour cream. For $11.75 I felt the portion was a bit small, but it was tasty. Cheesesteak with wiz and onions was excellent. Their wiz is on point. I appreciate that they have both seeded and non/seeded rolls. My non-seeded roll was soft and just how I like it! Blueberry lemonade was fresh and just enough tartness. New and clean area with some tables if you want to eat in. Service was solid. Online ordering time was spot on.

Second time here and these guys really know what they're doing. From the wings, cheesesteaks, fries and potatoes, all really tasty treats. A little pricy, but quality isn't cheap. I think they use really good suppliers because I enjoyed every bite. Looking forward to trying the burgers and chicken sandwiches and tenders. Nice store too, modern, with outdoor seating available. BYOB as well, so bring some alcohol along for no extra charge! ;)

If you are a fry fan definitely check out potato coop. They have every fry type you can think of, pluses baked potatoes and periods. I went with the chicken cheesesteak fries on waffle fries. Sometimes waffle fries can be soggy but even with all of the toppings these were still crisp and flavorful. A side of coop sauce was a good balance to the saltiness and richness of the chicken cheesesteak. I love fries but they have to be good quality and these were great. It was a bit pricey but I really enjoyed my meal.

Way overcooked, so salty I only ate half. Husband tasted it, agreed salty and dry.

Really disappointing in almost every way. Their prices are RIDICULOUS. The burgers are just ok. Hotdog with chili and cheese was so salty, overcooked, I couldn't finish it. Four tables inside. FOUR. Very very slow service. Huge TIP button for no table service, slow food, tiny overpriced drinks. If you must go, like I had to because my kids wanted to try it, pay with cash. We ended up sitting outside in the cold, and not one table or chair was dry. They don't even bother to have an employee dry them off with a towel???? I had to use a ton of paper napkins. Mac and cheese was dry and boring. The only decent food was the chicken sandwich and the waffle fries with cheese. My daughter got the cheesesteak fries, a SMALL lemonade that she said was way way too sour, and a sandwich... $30!

Poutine Steak Fries

Review of The Potato Coop The Potato Coop offers a unique take on comfort food, but it comes with some caveats. While the food is undeniably tasty and served hot, the experience can be a bit hit-or-miss depending on your priorities. We tried several items, including the buffalo chicken fries, mac and cheese fries, poutine steak fries, and the cheesesteak pierogis. Each dish was flavorful, with the buffalo chicken fries perfect balance of spice and crispiness, but needed something more. while the mac and cheese fries were needed to be cheesier. The poutine steak fries and pierogis were solid choices too, with hearty portions and satisfying flavors, but nothing that wowed us beyond expectations. On the downside, the price is pretty high for what you get, especially considering the limited seating, when you can't sit outside during the cooler mounts. The small, cramped space doesn't lend itself to a comfortable dining experience, especially during peak hours. If you're looking to sit and enjoy your meal in a relaxed environment, you might be disappointed. The Potato Coop is worth checking out!

This is like my fourth visit I usually get the burgers and fresh hand-cut fries. This visit I tried the wings again the wings were cooked perfectly and the garlic truffle aioli is killer. Only complaint is the wings need more sauce coverage.

I really enjoyed everything: great burger cheesesteak and fries served hot and fresh...delicious! The service is friendly and it is a good value too- amount of food is ample for what you pay.

Absolutely amazing food. Service was incredible. Super friendly. Recommend the crab loaded potato with fresh fries

Pulled chicken loaded potato (curly fries)

I've never met a potato I didn't like. But I did meet a potato restaurant that left me disappointed, and that was during my first experience with Potato Coop. My family came to visit, and we were all excited to try some of the many potato options. I didn't actually go into shop because we got take-out, so I can't comment on the service or ambiance. So my review is just focused on the food. The biggest issue I had was the inconsistency with the products. My sister ordered a smashburger loaded potato with curly fries, and I got a pulled chicken loaded potato with curly fries. I would expect this to be the same base with different toppings. However, my portion of curly fries was about twice as much as hers. Plus, the smashburger was barely any protein and the toppings were skimpy. It did not give "loaded" vibes. My chicken was decent but pretty dry, and while the amount of pickles was generous, the amount of sauce was stingy. I ended up sharing my meal with my sister because the serving size was so different. As a customer, I want consistency in products and it doesn't seem like Potato Coop's offering that.

Come here to curb your craving for a heavy fried meal, great for a late night snack. I wish they were open later for the cravings after a night out!

I can see this being a much bigger draw in summer when the area is active and people are looking for an easy place to eat and drink. The food was good, service was reasonably quick, and the restaurant was clean. It was not very busy when we were there, but the layout felt like it could get cramped and difficult to navigate when the place is crowded. I do not know the origins of the restaurant, but it has that dropped in feel, like something that would fit just as easily near an outlet mall. It is a straightforward American bar and grill type stop. Nothing was wrong with it, but nothing stood out either. If the sports bar vibe is your thing, you will probably enjoy it. For me, it is the kind of place I might return to, but mainly because it is convenient, not because it is memorable.

The setup gets weird once the back tables are filled because it's tougher to get to the bathroom. Service was okay. Had to wait for a drink refill and then once the check was paid, never came back again. Which I can understand not asking if you need anything every 5 minutes, but one more drink check would've been nice. Food is basic bar food. My wrap was filled nicely though. Their ranch is solid but on the runnier side. Onion rings were good but the second my plate came out I could see the pool of grease on my plate. Maybe let the onion rings drip a little more before you put them on the plate. Chips that come with the sandwiches are basic kettle cooked, not fresh. $3 to upgrade to fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings.

This week's Friday Night Solo Date Night destination took me to Greystone Public House -- a spot…read moreI've heard people talk about for a while but had never tried myself. When I realized I'd be just minutes away late Friday afternoon on one of the nicest days of the year so far, it felt like the perfect time to finally give it a shot. Friday afternoon, 74°, end of a long work week...this absolutely screamed "patio dinner," and Greystone delivered on that front! I arrived around 4:45pm and asked for patio seating, and was seated at a great table in full sun. The vibe was exactly what I was hoping for -- calm, quiet, and a really beautiful setting. When I got there, the patio was about one-third full, but by the time I left around 5:30pm, it had nearly emptied out. That said, I could definitely see this being a go-to spot when the weather is nice, so reservations are probably a smart move if you're aiming for patio seating. For my meal, I went with the shrimp salad wrap with a Caesar salad and a Diet soda. On paper, it sounded like a solid, light dinner option. In reality...it didn't quite hit for me. The shrimp salad was very mayo-heavy with minimal seasoning, and it was loaded with large chunks of celery (like...a lot of celery). The menu also indicated the wrap would include tomato but it didn't. The shrimp were left whole, which made it tough to eat as a wrap -- I ended up just picking out and eating the shrimp and leaving most of the wrap behind...along with what felt like an entire stalk of celery. Not exactly what I had in mind. Service also missed the mark a bit. My server checked in shortly after the food was delivered, but then disappeared for quite a while. I finished eating and waited about 20 minutes for my check, with both my Diet soda and water empty and no refill in sight before she eventually came back. My total came to $24.30 before tip, which put the experience right around $30 for one person, one cold wrap, one side salad and a Diet soda -- and for that price point, I was expecting something a little more elevated, both in food and service. Greystone definitely has the look of an upscale, country club-style dining experience. The space is beautiful, especially the patio, and the overall atmosphere is appealing. But right now, it feels like the execution isn't quite matching the vision. The food lacked that "oh my god this is GOOD" factor, and the service didn't support the price point. Also worth noting -- a few small maintenance details stood out, like a broken toilet paper dispenser laying in pieces in the women's restroom and loose floor tiles near the bar that shift when you step on them. Not dealbreakers, but noticeable in a space aiming for a more polished experience. Overall, Greystone is a great spot for the vibes -- especially on a sunny day -- but the food and service didn't quite live up to expectations for me. I'd come back for the patio, but I'd probably manage expectations (and maybe try something different on the menu next time).

The Review: Men in the Kitchen…read more My reviews are different. I do not announce myself or tell anyone. I am here to do a review!! It was a rainy Sunday, and I was working up a hunger while driving Uber for content. I went to three different spots before I finally found the place I should've gone to first. The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are so good that I want to find another establishment just like it, but so far--at least on this day--nothing in the area can beat it. I don't know why I treat this restaurant like a good wife that a man might constantly cheat on but always returns to. I'm not saying that I actually cheat; I'm just using that for context! So, I found myself once again at Two Men in the Kitchen. Since it was Easter Sunday, they offered a buffet or a special limited menu. There was fish and chicken wings available, and I chose the wings. Since I don't eat meat often, I asked for their "House Sauce," and it is by far amazing. I paired the wings with the 3-cheese baked mac & cheese and sweet potatoes. I went for the sides first because I wanted to save the best for last--I already knew that house sauce was going to be incredible, especially on the chicken and greens eggrolls they have. The mac & cheese was great; it had a crunchy outside yet remained soft in the middle, and the cheese pull was amazing. The sweet potatoes were definitely homemade; I could tell because every slice was a different cut, which I appreciate because it proves they didn't come out of a can. Now for the best part: the chicken wings. They were cooked perfectly--neither overdone nor underdone, with no pink on the inside. Everything was pure. I did happen to taste a little bit of Old Bay on the wings, so I asked the chef if that was part of the secret seasoning. He said no, so maybe someone slipped some in by accident, but it didn't stop me from indulging. I also ordered one of their house special drinks--a Hennessy and rum cocktail. It was a very pretty drink, but unfortunately, I am not a fan of Hennessy. Personally, I think it tastes like house keys or licking a brass knob when you're a kid. On my scale, the drink was a 2 out of 5; I just don't think rum and cognac should mix, but that's just my opinion. The atmosphere was amazing and the bathrooms were clean. I will definitely visit this place again and again, although sometimes it is hard to tell if they are open because of the heavily tinted windows. For those who know the area, this is the old firehouse in Harrisburg. I was told that on the weekends, they clear some tables to create a dance floor, which is a nice touch. There is plenty of bar seating and booths, making it a kid-friendly environment. The only thing I don't like--which applies to every restaurant on 2nd Street--is that it's very hard to find parking. The Scale * Location & Parking: (3/5) * Staff & Engagement: (4/5) * Food Consistency: (4.7/5)

You have to do it online, via text, and it won't allow you to purchase any time less than an hour. Kinda sucks for those carrying out. Totally not the restaurant's fault though. I got the jerk quesadilla without the jerk ranch sauce. They don't serve this or their regular quesadilla with salsa or pica de gallo so it does taste a little bland. The jerk flavor isn't coming thru for me. It's a little disappointing but it's also just a quesadilla so I don't expect much. I'm not deterred though. I'd be interested in trying more on the menu. It seemed like a cozy place to sit and eat. I'd also like to eat there on my next visit. I'll update my review when I do.
