    Burger Yum Cheeseburger and fries

Dropped my wife off at the train station and thought I would look for a local place for lunch that was not a chain. Yum Burger had a very good rating, was close by, and open which is rare in a government/business section on a Saturday. IMHO the smash burger and fries were than 5 Guys or Shake Shack. Will be back to sample the dogs and chicken.

We love Burger Yum. Their Nashville chicken sandwich is my favorite. It's spicy, crispy and delicious. The double cheeseburger is also delicious. The fries with sauce and chicken yums are also delicious. Whenever I crave spicy one I get the Nashville chicken sandwich from them. Always worth it. Ambiance is cozy and clean. Service is also good.

How do I know the food was amazing- I didn't get a picture! We always get the same thing a cheeseburger with a single patty and chili cheese fries. Imagine really good french fries overflowing with chili and cheese. You have to have a fork to eat it! The staff is always happy and helpful.

This place was a find! Burger patties were smashed and seasoned perfectly. We had the all day breakfast burger and a regular. All day breakfast burger is the way to go. Place is clean. Low key. Service is good. I would come again! My husband bookmarked it.

How do I get more of this place?!? We're traveling around and found this place- yelp pics of the food so we decided to check it out. This is the best cheeseburger over had. Hands down, the best. My wife got the chicken yum and it also was great. Folks behind the counter were nice and help. Great music playin too inside.

Both chicken yum and classic double was very good. The fries were average, could have been better. My wife loved the burger. So I gave her rating

Updating to 5 stars. Last night's chocolate shake, burger, and chicken yum all were off the chart delicious. First time I tried the shake and I'm unhappy with myself for being a cheapskate and not treating myself to a perfect chocolate shake. Also: since my last review, service is improved and I have been very happy using the Toast takeout app and while earning rewards points. The burger game has a new king in town, Burger Yum!

I stopped in for brunch this weekend with a friend after seeing their new menu and brunch specials…read moreon social media, and I'm so glad we did! We ordered the oxtails and grits along with a pitcher of pineapple mimosas. The grits were honestly some of the creamiest I've ever had! The oxtails were tender, very meaty, seasoned perfectly, and came with a delicious gravy. Everything was flavorful without being overly seasoned. And yes -- the mimosas were STRONG! I also ordered the strawberry stuffed French toast and bacon to take home, and it did not disappoint. The French toast was really good and, thankfully, not overly sweet. The service was another highlight. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of without being overbearing. I also really appreciated the atmosphere. The music was playing, but at a comfortable volume where you could actually enjoy it and have a conversation -- not the "why did I come here?" level of loud that some brunch spots have. The location is also a plus. It's far enough away from the busiest part of 2nd Street that parking wasn't a hassle, and they have their own parking lot, which is a definite bonus in downtown/midtown Harrisburg. Overall, this was a really enjoyable brunch experience. **Good food, strong drinks, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere.** I'll definitely be back to try more from the new menu!

The Review: Men in the Kitchen…read more My reviews are different. I do not announce myself or tell anyone. I am here to do a review!! It was a rainy Sunday, and I was working up a hunger while driving Uber for content. I went to three different spots before I finally found the place I should've gone to first. The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are so good that I want to find another establishment just like it, but so far--at least on this day--nothing in the area can beat it. I don't know why I treat this restaurant like a good wife that a man might constantly cheat on but always returns to. I'm not saying that I actually cheat; I'm just using that for context! So, I found myself once again at Two Men in the Kitchen. Since it was Easter Sunday, they offered a buffet or a special limited menu. There was fish and chicken wings available, and I chose the wings. Since I don't eat meat often, I asked for their "House Sauce," and it is by far amazing. I paired the wings with the 3-cheese baked mac & cheese and sweet potatoes. I went for the sides first because I wanted to save the best for last--I already knew that house sauce was going to be incredible, especially on the chicken and greens eggrolls they have. The mac & cheese was great; it had a crunchy outside yet remained soft in the middle, and the cheese pull was amazing. The sweet potatoes were definitely homemade; I could tell because every slice was a different cut, which I appreciate because it proves they didn't come out of a can. Now for the best part: the chicken wings. They were cooked perfectly--neither overdone nor underdone, with no pink on the inside. Everything was pure. I did happen to taste a little bit of Old Bay on the wings, so I asked the chef if that was part of the secret seasoning. He said no, so maybe someone slipped some in by accident, but it didn't stop me from indulging. I also ordered one of their house special drinks--a Hennessy and rum cocktail. It was a very pretty drink, but unfortunately, I am not a fan of Hennessy. Personally, I think it tastes like house keys or licking a brass knob when you're a kid. On my scale, the drink was a 2 out of 5; I just don't think rum and cognac should mix, but that's just my opinion. The atmosphere was amazing and the bathrooms were clean. I will definitely visit this place again and again, although sometimes it is hard to tell if they are open because of the heavily tinted windows. For those who know the area, this is the old firehouse in Harrisburg. I was told that on the weekends, they clear some tables to create a dance floor, which is a nice touch. There is plenty of bar seating and booths, making it a kid-friendly environment. The only thing I don't like--which applies to every restaurant on 2nd Street--is that it's very hard to find parking. The Scale * Location & Parking: (3/5) * Staff & Engagement: (4/5) * Food Consistency: (4.7/5)

The ambience didn't seem much like a speakeasy. It was more like a regular bar/restaurant. For lunch, I requested fish tacos and sweet potato fries. My fish tacos each had a large piece of fish in them. The fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly, was flaky, and delicious. My sweet potato fries were a little overcooked, but still pretty good. Highly recommend that dish. My daughter's soup of the day (chicken & rice) missed the mark. But her club sandwich was the size of her head! If we're in Harrisburg, we'll visit again. Great meal!

My waitress (Danyell) immediately took my order of shrimp cocktail and the prime rib special. The food is where the experience soured. The shrimp cocktail (6 pieces) was cooked well and arrived chilled. The issue I had was with the garlic aeoli, cocktail sauce, and old bay seasoning dust that was generously sprinkled on top of the shrimp. Both sauces were under seasoned and the dry old bay seasoning added an odd texture and taste that detracted from th flavor of the shrimp cocktail. The prime rib was extremely tough, had no flavor, and was missing the cap. This was a big disappointment as I expected more from award winning chef Dougie Krick. The meal included mashed potatoes, however, as they do not offer a baked potato, I substituted for steak fries which arrived greasy. Total with tip was $85. Given the quality of the meal served, not a value. The server was very attentive and frequently refilled my drink without asking.

But this place is much more than beer, and I can't recommend it enough. First, there is a bar completely separate from the eating area, so you can choose what experience you want. Second, I've known that all their beers are top notch, which is why I wanted to come here. I'm not an IPA guy, but the black IPA is some top notch stuff that anyone can appreciate. Not super hoppy, really well balanced. Blonde stout is another superb creation, Lancaster gets some depth into it that many other breweries can't manage. Third, if you want food, they learned from the Food Network and limited their menu to just a few choices, all excellently prepared. I ordered the Angry Mac with gator meat. It had excellent flavor, they made it spicier like I asked, and unlike most places they provided plenty of meat. Great quantity and great taste that I wasn't expecting. I tasted my friend's polenta and it was perfectly balanced with some cheese, not too salty. I could eat that for days. Finally, Eva, our waitress? Wonderful. My friend and I were weighing dessert, we wanted a brownie but not the whole hot fudge brownie sundae. Eva made it work and even split it between heated and cold. What a great server. Props to Eva! To get this quality of food, this quality of beer, this quality of service, and this quality of ambiance all in one? No wonder my friend was willing to go two days in a row.
