Postinos is the place I always friends who are visiting me in Phoenix. The vibe of this restaurant is so fun and creative. The staff is always incredibly friendly and accommodating. The wine selection is extensive and the staff give great recommendation if you are lost on what you want. The bruschetta is my favorite item on the menu-the flavors offer a great range of different flavors. The roasted cauliflower with romesco sauce is excellent as well. The best deal they offer is the bottle and board (on Tuesdays/Wednesdays)-it's such a steal! The patio outside is great and dog friendly-so be sure to check this spot out. read more

I went on a Tuesday at 3:30 and the dining room was full...that should tell you how good this place is! My food came out quickly and it was delicious. I got the nine iron sandwich and the mixed greens salad; I'm not easily impressed by salads but theirs was scrumptious and really worth a try. Been wanting to eat here for a long time since I frequently go to LGO, Chelsea Kitchen and Ingo Tasty Foods. Ate here on a Sunday after church, not to busy as compared to dinner time. Valet service for the car which parking is very limited. Not a drinker of wine or beer so automatically limited our choices of the place which very much revolves around the wine selection. Had the Autostrada Panini with the salad and the food was just not that great tasting. There was barely any meat in the sandwich. The Panini was ok but the combination of dressing and meat was not to my taste. Leaving this review solely about the service because the food was amazing. I did not have a bad experience at their Tempe location so I know it's the staff at this particular location. Staff made the whole experience uncomfortable for my boyfriend and myself. Very rude, condescending waitress with reddish hair. She couldn't even make eye contact or check up on us at any point. Thankfully we ordered a wine bottle because no one refilled our waters. We were so uncomfortable we just sat around waiting for her to come over so we could ask for the check but she acted like she didn't see us. I go to postinos so many times a month.. hadn't been to this location in a while. Takes a lot for me to write a review. Our service was not great at all. Waitress working outside did not ask us once how are food was and kept having to wave her down to get her attention. She also was extremely slow and we just watched her eating in the back talking to her coworkers the majority of the night. She also checked on every other table but us. I asked for a soup to go and it never got put in... ended up having to ask another server to pay and get the soup. I didn't even end up getting the correct soup. I'm not sure if it's because we were younger girls (in our 20s) and the lady thought service wouldn't be as important but it was extremely frustrating and just not enjoyable. read more

Oh Postino, how I miss thee. I moved to Washington but every time I go back to Arizona, I always make time to stop at Postino! This place just makes my heart happy. The atmosphere makes me feel like one of the cool kids & even though the wait times during prime times can be bad, it's worth the wait. Trust me. Some of my favorite bruschetta's are: smoked salmon w/ pesto and capers, prosciutto with figs and mascarpone, ricotta with dates and pistachio and the salami and pesto. If you're feeling frisky, try the nine iron panini and raspberry chicken salad. Service has always been great & although I've tried 3 of the 4 Postino's in the valley, I'd say even though Arcadia is smaller in size, it's the best one. The most fun is to come at 8pm on a Monday or Tuesday night when they have their board and bottle special ($20...a total steal!), but be prepared to wait as it can get pretty packed for that event. They also serve brunch on the weekends, and to be able to sit out on the patio on a beautiful winters day (thank you AZ sunshine!) for a morning meal is always an amazing bonus. Nice surprise..... On a way to Four Seasons from the airport we Yelped lunch restaurants and was intrigued by the reviews and menu so decided to stop by. It is in a more industrial area not a great part of town and for a little while thought we were lost by GPS leading us to wrong direction. only to come up to a place with tiny parking lot, jammed w/valet parking only- so good sign:) Place is very cool looking, loud (would suggest some noise cancelling options like area rugs or ceiling /wall padding), very granola like feel (reminded me of Portland and Seattle a bit), wooden tables, beautiful central vase w/amazing fresh flowers, plain bar. The best "personal touch" is the stamped toilet paper- def clever idea. The bathrooms are unisex and frankly when that busy should be catered to more- papers on the floor, overflowing trash, etc. Food- started w/the butcher's block- cured meats and cheeses- very good but not very much hard cheese at all. Bruscheta tried two- the burrata, bacon tomato is fantastic, the smoked salmon average. Prosciutto panini is OK- not warm/pressed enough and bread too think so that is mostly what you taste. Waitress wasn't that friendly (unfortunately) and did not know the wine list that well so could not describe the actual wines by the glass. Also did not offer wine list per bottle which we would have ordered as better selection. Overall nice place to come experiment if you are a foodie. read more

I am not from Arizona and loved what the restaurant offered on the website. I wanted to order the 1/2 salad, 1/2 panini and soup but because soup was French onion I asked if they could substitute for a small side- they said "no". So , I ordered the salad and prosciutto, fig, Brie panini. Was throughly disappointed in both. The salad was supposed to have Gorgonzola which I requested none- but they didn't take any $ off and it was tiny, only 6 small chucks of pair and a maybe 22 small candied pecans - For $10.50 I would have expected much more. The panini barely had any meat, and maybe a 1/2 teaspoon of fig spread on either side of the cut sandwich. They threw in potato chips with the sandwich that were stale. I was just out of surgery and hadn't eaten for 2 days and unfortunately it did not satisfy AT ALL. read more

What's not to love when it is a neighborhood favorite with quality but reasonably priced wine and beer, the best specials, delicious food, a cozy vintage atmosphere, a cute dog-friendly patio, amazing location, and the very BEST management and servers! We love and appreciate everyone, but our favorites that go above and beyond for us regularly are: Barbara, Martin, Amanda, Vivian, Brittany, Sebastian, Chelsea, Jacob, Dorian, Josh, Caleb, Sage, Theyoung, and Anna. We are always greeted with the warmest welcome and truly feel like family. Recommend trying $25 bruschetta board and bottle of wine after 8pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, $6 glasses of wine and pitchers of beer every day until 5pm, and $20 take home bottles of wine (only off the menu). Favorite foods include the bruschetta board, grilled cheese and tomato soup, cheese board, panini sandwiches, soup of the day, crispy cauliflower...and the gluten free bread is one of the best you will find! Postino's is also an amazing brunch place that doesn't have a long wait! Check out the Wine Cult membership, too! Good service and ambiance and always a good bet, especially to treat out-of-town guests. I recommend this place as a local gem. It's food is usually super although expensive. My only reason for not giving Postino Arcadia 5 stars is that their food is not consistent. I understand variation can be a result of freshly prepared food but I would like to count on something that is amazing being as good the next time. My specific example is the tuna sandwich. One time, it was fantastic but the next time, the bread was soggy and the tuna was a ball in then middle of the soggy bread. Our comment to the server was met with "hmm- I'll let them know" - but I know our feedback went no further. That said, if you havent done so, give them a try - it's a good place. read more

I've been coming to Postino for years and I always bring out of town guests here. You can't beat the board and bottle special on Monday and Tuesday nights - $25 for a full board of bruschetta and any bottle of wine! That's gotta be like a $60 value at least. SUCH an amazing deal, there are so many bruschetta options to choose from, they're ALL delicious and the bottles of wine are great (there are a ton of them to choose from, as well)! The employees are all super nice. The last time I was in town, we went the day before my friends birthday and brought an ice cream cake as a surprise and they kept it in their freezer, lit the candles for us and brought it out and cut the cake and served it to everyone. Postino, oh Postino. You never disappoint. No matter what time I show up, Postino has my back. I've been to this location twice: once for a group lunch on the patio and once with a friend for brunch. Both times were excellent. Deal: They usually have a drink deal of some sort: a small pitcher of beer or a glass of wine for $5 during lunch time, or a glass of bubbly- champagne, prosecco or sparkling rosé for $5 during brunch. My favourite of course, is the bottle of wine and bruschetta for $20. I've only gone to the Tempe location for this deal, however I'm sure it would be awesome here as well given my other experiences at this location. Service: I've never had a bad experience here. They were attentive, but not overbearing. Food: I want to give whoever created this menu a big hug. They basically use all my favorite ingredients in all their dishes like pesto, delicious bread, savory meats, artichokes... the list could go on forever. For lunch, I've had their 1/2 sandwich and salad combo. If I'm grabbing lunch with my boyfriend, we can usually split a whole sandwich- they're pretty hefty. Brunch yesterday was also delicious. I had the country toast with Italian ham, dijonaise (is that Dijon with mayonnaise?), and gruyere. It had these amazingly fresh tomatoes tossed in pesto. That was by far my favorite part. I wonder if I can just order a bowl of that next time. There will be a next time; the question however, is what time of the day it will be. read more

Bruschetta heaven! Postino Arcadia is a romantically decorated and very cute Italian wine bar in that I was dying to try during my short trip to Phoenix. It wasn't particularly fresh or populated with salmon though. + Almond Hummus & Tomato Bruschetta ($15 for 4 flavors): This was delicious as well! I highly recommend this if you like hummus. + Salami with Pesto Bruschetta ($15 for 4 flavors): This was okay! If it was up to me, I would've gotten another order of the Smoked Salmon with Pesto. There was only one piece of salami, and it was very mediocre. + Warm Artichoke Spread ($15 for 4 flavors): SO CHEESY. I can't particularly handle cheese, so I didn't like this at all. I do not recommend this if you don't love cheese. + Turkey Panini: Good enough! Nothing spectacular but it was tasty. + Brussel Sprouts Salad: Not what I was expecting AT ALL. It was mostly regular salad leaves with some brussel sprout leaves at the bottom. I was definitely expecting whole brussel sprouts or at least more of it. Not impressed with this. SERVICE: Decent service. They were attentive and refilled my water a lot but weren't very friendly. ATMOSPHERE: So cute! Very romantic. Following up with the below. My boyfriend and I came back Jon the manager said they would take care of us so we decided to come on a tuesday and they really did make up for what happened. Still one of my favorite places to go. Highly recommend. Amanda was absolutely fantastic she was so friendly and sweet! Jon introduced himself and he too was so friendly! Postinos is one of my favorite places to go especially for their Chicken and Mozzarella panini.. but tonight was one of the first times that it was not satisfying.. My panini was freezing cold, the chipotle sauce that's suppose to be on it wasn't on it, also ordered it on a ciabatta bread and got focaccia, overall it wasn't edible. On top of that I ordered a honey cucumber lemonade and and I couldn't taste ANY lemonade, they put some much cucumber juice in it, it was absolutely horrible. read more

My FAVORITE restaurant in Phoenix! You have to go with their bruschetta boards because it's such a good value and absolutely delicious. My personal fav would be the prosciutto with fig and mascarpone. The board comes with four different bruschetta choices all for only $15, and the bruschetta is big so you'll get full! Highly suggest coming on Tuesday for their wine deal where you get a whole bottle of wine and bruschetta board for just $20. Lastly, top it off off with their salted caramel sundae,ahhhhh-mazing!! Unfortunately, this deal doesn't start til 8PM (which seemed later than I remembered) but the boards were just as delicious. Honestly, though their offerings of bruschettas are varied, from brie and apple, sweet and spicy pepper jam to smoked salmon the bruschettas tend to be on the sweeter side of things. But paired with their pub board which bring you pretzels, cheese, and chorizo, you have a winning combo. We opted for a moscato, riesling, and a red wine combo of sort, cause how could you not get wine when you're at Postino's and we were not disappointed.
