Great Find Had a terrific lunch at this Postino Arcadia with some friends today. The beer and wine selection are extensive, the lunch menu is delicious and creative, the staff are accommodating and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. On this visitv we decided on the bruschetta boards and drinks. Glasses of wine are $5 all day until 5:00 pm, as are pitchers of beer. All I have to say is, the bruschetta boards at Postino's are truly amazing, choose four from twelve selections for only $15. This was the best brusvhetta I ever had. Oh my - what a treat. They have the best bruschetta. The smoked salmon is my fav. The pesto sauce is light while the smoked salmon balances it with its saltiness. Each bruschetta is cut in 1/4 so it's easy to share. The grilled cauliflower was a great surprise. The sauce is out of this world. Whatever they put on that works perfect. The cauliflower was grilled to a slight crunch. They only serve beer and wine. They need a little more lighting- too dim. They are creating the ambience but it's a little too dim. Of course the food is good! Something weird it's 2:30 pm and customers are walking in and saying I valet parked my car and they can't find the valet . The girls behind the bar namely a blonde mostly but there is a brunette too they both have attitudes with the people. So they have the keys behind the bar.... one lady said okkkkk but where is my car the blonde said out in the parking lot . When she walked away the blonde said uh why is she upset with me ???? Lady was not rude just frustrated- really weird situation and awkward for customers hope they aren't tipping or paying for this "service" . Cute wine bar (with some beers) that offers tapas-like foods in high quality. The bruschetta are clearly their claim of fame, we sample pretty much every kind. With the excellent cheese board (with cured meat, olives, nuts, etc.) we were pretty much full. That, of course, plus a couple of bottles of wines. We have a semi-sommelier and his choices were excellent (and expensive). That's partially why we lingered till the closing time at the patio. read more

Went there last night after a comedy show and the Bruschetta was excellent. You must try the Brie & Apples with Fig Spread & Warm Artichoke Spread, both were yummy. The service by Amanda was superb. I am in LOVE with how open & airy the restaurant is. It's such a beautiful place to come and have brunch with friends. We ordered several Bruschetta boards and were not disappointed by any of them. My favorite was the burrata, bacon, arugula & tomato bruschetta. They really stacked those bacon bits on it! You really can't go wrong with the board (or any of the other food, I'm sure). A good brunch spot with patio seating. In town visiting for a wedding, my friend brought me here with her dog after landing Saturday morning. There was plenty of seating and a mix of different guests, from family's to couples/friends. Ordered the cast iron sticky bread with a side of bacon. The bread was both soft on the inside with a little crunch on the outside, topped with a caramel syrup. Very delicious and the bacon was a perfect savory compliment. I'm on a huge Postino kick lately and had another awesome dinner there last night with five girlfriends. Since my last review of this place was in 2008, I figured it was time for an update, but honestly, not too much has changed since then - I'm a very loyal customer and have been for years! My favorite menu items are still the same too: The artichoke dip (which actually comes with hummus too but I always special request double artichoke instead because I love it so much), the mixed green salad with added turkey, chicken, or prosciutto, and the bruschetta board... My top two bruschetta faves are Brie & Apple with Fig Spread and Prosciutto, Fig & Mascarpone. Mmmmm! I'm not currently drinking (I'm prego again), but of course this is the perfect place to go for a glass of wine or four as well! Service is always fabulous and the atmosphere rocks too. So in my eyes, this place deserves five stars... even almost five years from my original review! Of course, it is worth noting that it's not only a favorite of mine, there are plenty of others that love it too... so, sometimes you may have to wait a bit. All the locations are always busy (so there's almost always a wait) but the atmosphere is still relaxed and perfect for a big group of friends or for a romantic night out. My friends are especially crazy about the Monday & Tuesday bottle and board special, where after 8pm you get to choose any 4 bruschetta options and any bottle of wine for $20! It's such a great deal since their bruschetta board is normally $15. My favorite thing to order here is the veggie sandwich, which doesn't sound impressive but it's AMAZING. The place itself is a former historic post office; the space itself is funky and fun, with lots of natural light coming in and wonderful music! We jammed to Bloc Party, Passion Pit, and so many other great songs. As we sampled their libations, here were some highlights: -Bellini: so fresh and tasty and only 5 bucks! -Pinot Noir: can go so wrong, but was so right, especially for 5 bucks! -Pitcher of beer: a yummy, citrusy wheat beer; about 2 and a half glasses to these pitchers, but again, only 5 bucks! -Pub Board: yummy, warm, salted pretzel bites, excellent cheese, chorizo, and corn nuts. Great with beer. -Bruschetta: OMG so good! One order gets you four large bruschettas (cut in half for sharing). We loved the goat cheese with roasted red peppers, brie and apple with fig spread (swoon!), white bean with tomatoes, and salami with pesto. Oh so yummy. I have been a fan of this place for years, and decided to get out of the house for a glass of wine and nosh. I went during happy hour when they have some pretty great deals. Parking was easy, staff was masked up and friendly, and social distancing was no issue. The closest person to come in contact with me was the person delivering the food. I had their bruschetta (the salmon and the burrata are two of my favorites) and a nice glass of Pinot Noir. Staff was friendly and attentive. I have always been a supporter of local business and think it is even more important now. They have a fantastic wine selection and everything I have ever eaten here is delicious. As a wine and cheese lover, I was in Heaven! You can order a wine on menu or peruse their bottles for sale and open one at your table. My friend ordered the bruschetta and I ordered the cheese plate to start, or so we thought. They brought out a bountiful display that was more than enough for dinner and we did not need to order anything more. The bruschetta portions were much bigger than what I'm used to. Each one was basically an open faced sandwich. I can't stand when a cheese plate comes out with barely two bites of each cheese. Thankfully, that is not Postino's style. I'll typically come here before or after I go someplace else for a full meal. It's a very social, happening spot. It gets really busy and sometimes the wait staff seem overwhelmed and inattentive. One thing that would make this place a lot better is if they offered wine flights. I've been to Postino multiple times at the Arcadia and the Central locations, and I love the vibe, the amazing Bruschetta boards, and the good variety of wines. The food quality and taste are consistent across locations, and different locations have unique decors, which add more flavor to the whole dining experience. My favorite Bruschetta options are: Warm Artichoke Spread, Prosciutto with figs & mascarpone, Burrata bacon arugula & tomato, and Almond hummus with chopped tomato.
