Had an appointment at 110 waiting. Its 2 o'clock for fingerprints. I found a place actually slower then the drivers license place. They looked confused just to make a key when someone asked. Totally inconsiderate to people with an appointment. read more

I've read the reviews from the past year or so, many of which were negative. Things must have changed at the Postal Annex+. I've been there twice in recent months for important international mailings, and both times I received prompt, courteous, professional service. Going by my personal experience, I'm happy to give Postal Annex+ a 5-star rating. read more

We planned on using their notary services before leaving the country for a year. We arranged for witnesses to be there and when we arrived they were closed. Wasted our time and that of the witnesses. read more

Given the opportunity to type in a code needed that could have been asked for in advance, however refusal to assist a customer that could not clearly see the code is not helpful. read more

16 hours agoNEW I went here today to try and open up a PO box I handed the elderly lady Marcel my proof of registration and my ID. Then I realized I could not add my fiance without having two forms of identification for him. I walk in a straight line to my car. Realize I did not have my ID I scoured the ground and it was nowhere to be found. I politely went back inside and she said I must have brought it with me. I walked back to my car looked again and between the paperwork she gave me and looked on the ground once again and walked back into the store. I waited patiently while she was helping a customer. Before before she was done helping the customer she asked me if I got the forms of identification for my fiance. I politely said no I don't have my ID I didn't leave the store with my ID. I proceeded to tell her I'm not trying to be mean or blame you but maybe you set it down and put something on top of it. I was being seriously nice and she refused to even look under a single piece of paper for it. I left the store nearly in tears. I got back to my car stood behind it and started crying we just moved from California today we just traveled almost 3,000 miles in our car with three kids . My fiance Saw me wiping my tears and he went back into that store and he told her that he's going to sit and wait until she looks for it and that's when she threatened to call the police. He proceeded to say go ahead and called the police maybe they'll have you look for my fiance's ID. We hung out in our car for maybe an hour took the kids across the parking lot to use the gas station bathroom got a snack and hoped that maybe she would find it and bring it to us. We were about to leave and two cop cars pulled up so my fiance got out of the car and went to speak with them. They were super polite to him but at the end of it there's nothing they can do and that we are not allowed to go in that post office. read more

There is a grumpy man that works here, we arrived and saw a sign on the door stating "masks required", we politely told them that we didn't have a mask and weren't sure if they had any available. He pointed his finger at us and talked down at us immediately upon asking. He told us to buy one or get out (which we understood and was whole reason why we asked if there were any available), attitude was unbearable. read more

I would NOT recommend PostalAnnex+. If it was possible to give them zero stars I would. They have terrible customer service. I called to ask some questions about their fingerprinting services and the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude to me for no reason at all. Avoid this business at all costs. She was nasty for no reason at all and couldn't even answer simple questions that I was asking. read more

Lady there rude. Went there because my employer required fingerprints to update background. She was nice to the females who were there for same purpose. When they looked up my name it exposed others who had been there and I was able to see. This should be confidential. read more

This is a great place to go when you don't want to stand in line...especially if you have kids. Some of their toy displays are open to keep the kids busy and it's my go-to location when I have my boys. They have a very tempting display of Melissa and Doug items and the customer service is the best. I am a little surprised to see contradicting reviews as they are always patient and friendly with my kids and go above and beyond in making the experience a positive one. On flat rate boxes, you pay a little extra but I wouldn't go anywhere else with the boys. Especially around the holidays. read more

This is a wonderful one-stop shipping, notary, document shredding, gift shopping, photo ID and fingerprint headquarters! The husband-wife team are so friendly, kind and helpful. I "discovered" them over three years ago and have been so grateful that I did. There is such a wonderfully positive difference between this service and any service provided by USPS in Knoxville!! The services they provide helps me in many ways. They follow all the COVID precautions in the store. There is room for me to socially distance from other customers........even folding chairs are provided if needed, but it is rare that even during this busy December shipping season, I would need to wait in a long line. This is because of the efficiency they provide of a one-to-one customer service while still having a caring attitude for each person served. I highly recommend shopping at this Postal Annex with these two owners! read more

This IS your local shipping one stop shop shipping headquarters. The two wonderful owners know my name and chat me up every time I walk into the store. I really have never had such a really personal, caring, friendly retail experience. Honestly- and I am no shopping or shipping slouch. These people will help you but more I feel like they are my mom and pop shop - doing this is their dream for retirement. Needed to ship some items back to California. I was able to compare prices for UPS, FEDEX and USPS and choose the best service for my needs. Packaging was fast and accurate. The store is welcoming, owner was helpful and friendly. They also offer other services like notary, printing, laminating. Lots of services under the same roof! read more

When my husband was offered a job in Knoxville, we knew we needed a mailbox right away to forward our mail when we moved from San Diego. I chose Postal Annex because it was close to his new job. I called and a woman named Marcelle was very helpful in setting up a mail box long distance. It was so easy and she handled it smoothly and was very friendly. My husband inadvertently forgot to mail the payment for our box fee. Marcelle was very understanding and graciously continued to accept our forwarded mail until our check arrived a week later. As soon as we arrived in Knoxville, we went to Postal Annex and met Marcelle. She was as gracious and friendly in person as she had been over phone. She had all our mail and mailbox key ready and waiting. We had numerous boxes arrive and she always contacted us immediately by text to let us know and never misplaced anything. When we were doing long distance transactions with selling our home in San Diego, purchasing our home in Lenoir City, we did all our faxes, and notarizing services through Marcelle at Postal Annex. She handled everything with integrity and never had any errors with these transactions. I have mailed many many packages to our grandchildren on the west coast. Marcelle helps me package them and stores addresses on her computer so I don't even have to make a label. She even remembers my grandchildren's names! In addition to all this Marcelle helped us navigate a new city with directions, suggestions for businesses and restaurants. My husband and I recently moved to Lenoir City so very reluctantly closed our mailbox at Postal Annex after almost a year. But we still use their services just so we can see Marcelle who we now consider a friend. We highly recommend Postal Annex..and Marcelle! read more
