This was the coolest experience at a UPS store ever! I had a package to return and the company sent me the label and since I didn't print it, the customer service person at the store shared that I could email it and they would print it for a few dollars. Of course that's the convenience fee that you're paying since you didn't print it yourself. But the way that this guy positioned it and how he explained it was absolutely Cool, clean and not offensive. As I was doing that, he helped out three other customers doing similar things printing labels getting their packages done and just kind of bouncing around and even able to a package that was sent to get a possible return. It was outstanding customer service at the highest level with one guy operating the store and I wanna give mad props to Colin as he was seriously a rockstar. read more

After a major spring cleaning, we had a ton of sensitive documents that needed shredding. So ... we took them to this UPS store in Hardin Valley. When I arrived there were three persons in front of me. The UPS employee was Colin. It was fun just watching him as he personally waited on two windows, multi-tasking and engaging each customer. He had a winsome smile and you could tell he loved his job. When it came time to assist me, he was just as cheerful and helpful as he had been with the other customers. He was fast, efficient and really knew what he was going. It was a pleasure to meet an employee who loves his job and shows it in his actions. For your UPS needs, it would be worth it even if you have to drive a couple of miles out of your way, to visit this location. You will not be sorry. read more

This family owned business is doing a wonderful job! They are always greeting every client that comes in the door and efficiently takes care of Amazon returns, shipping other packages/boxes, notarizing signatures when needed, etc. We are fortunate to have them in such a perfect location, albeit we know to wait until after the Dunkin Donuts coffee rush next door. This UPS Store is small but mighty and keeps up with the big boys! I hope the crazy growth of Hardin Valley doesn't swallow them up. read more

What is it with stores hiring jerks that hate their job? Went in there to send an Amazon return package and didn't realize that it had to be packaged. Instead of being polite and offering to sell a box or envelope, I just got a snarky 'you can't send it like that!' I left and will find some packaging and go to another store. read more

This place is as corrupt and dishonest as they come. I was quoted a price of $251 to ship an item via Ground from Knoxville to Chicago. I thought that seemed high, so I contacted UPS and was quoted a rate of $71. I called the Hardin Valley UPS Store and was told there must have been a mistake on the part of UPS. So I contacted UPS again and printed out the chat session, clearly showing the weight, dimensions and value of the item. The quote was within pennies of the first UPS quote -- $70.32, in fact -- versus the $251.26 Hardin Valley UPS Store quoted me. Then I went to the Farragut UPS Store and was quoted a price of $113.84 for the same service and a box even bigger than the dimensions used at Hardin Valley. So while this store may be convenient to people in Hardin Valley, don't let the manager's outwardly pleasant and helpful appearance fool you. You'll pay dearly. Be prepared to pay three to four times what UPS charges for the same service. read more
