I'm not sure why this location has such bad reviews. Every time I've needed something right away I've been able to go in and have great service with a smile from the employees. Whether it's ink for my printer because my daughter needs to print something for school tomorrow and we ran out of ink or I'm returning an Amazon return, every one has been great. They have a big selection and we do our back to school shopping here too and they have good coupons on the app. read more

Delivery services were wrong and not helpful, speaking directly to the carrier they were nice and helpful, but staples did not assist in any complications. Our 300LBS filing cabinet was delivered a block away from the address and suite provided with no warning. Won't be ordering here again. read more

I guess I will be the jerk here but I am tired of seeing non service animals in stores they do not belong in. If you can't be away from your pet for an hour or hour and a half or your pet can't be away from you, don't subject the rest of society to your problems. I love animals. Some of the worst customer service! We walked in looking for help at the TSA precheck counter in this store and the employee at the desk walked right past us as he said "I'm on my lunch" and refused to answer our question regarding who then could help us. We waited another 15 min for another employee to finish up with a customer just to be told (politely at least) that the person who does the TSA documents was out for an indefinite amount of time. I have no idea how this store is still in business. read more

The Staples in Cleveland is in serious need of employees, especially employees with good customer service skills who provide prompt service. One front person who is responsible for checkout and processing Amazon returns is absolutely ridiculous. Every time there is a line waiting because the person at checkout ignores the Amazon returns as long as one person is in the checkout line. I look around the store and see two situations, employees looking at their phones and doing nothing to help, or no employees visible anywhere. Amazon needs to go back to using Kohl's in Cleveland because Staples sucks. read more

Buying a printer ( BEST BUY)‍ to go with my new MAC ... and did not get any correct info on hooking it up there.. STAPLES WAS A FEW STEPS AWAY... BINGO .. you answered our questions, produced what we needed and were on top of every question we had!! Putting our Best Buy experience to shame.. just being truthful as these purchases should be a good experience..... as you've put some obvious money into something that you're expecting to work, right!?!? I can't thank you enough for doing your job so well! It's a blessing to get someone in the area your looking into that is honest and knows what they are talking about! We then bought a desk through another sales gal there who unfortunately the tag was on the wrong desk and when we got home we had the wrong desk! We brought it right back and you jumped right in on the situation, making sure we were taken care of and again I want to thank you for making our day a good one. For some reason Staples uses a completly incompetent local delivery company. I ordered a file cabinet. For 6 days in a row they failed to deliver, but said they would deliver the next day. 3 times they said they could not deliver because the business was closed, and this was a residential delivery. Another time they forgot to put in on the truck. They basically do nothing a pick an excuse at the end of the day. Avoid ordering from Staples in Knoxville. read more

I was preparing for my National Sales meeting and I had huge printer issues at home. I also needed posters printed for my presentation from file that were not cooperating. Shelby was my hero tonight. He went above and beyond to help out a tech challenged guy like me. I use this location because they always give tremendous effort and Shelby dug into the issue and made it happen. I wish I could give this place zero stars. I was told there is a 24 hour turnaround time for 20 color copies. Seriously?!?!? The girl at the counter said she was too busy to make the copies. (There was only one person in front of me...) I was under the impression the print and copy center was there as a convenience. There is no way I'm going to drop off a sheet to be photocopied just to pick it up tomorrow afternoon. Staples really needs to rethink its business policy. I was extremely disappointed with my Staples purchase of Ameriwood Home Products Standing Desk. When the shipment arrived, the box showed it had been opened before. Large patches of extra cardboard were taped to several places around the box to obviously cover holes. There were also MASSIVE amounts of tape around the ends and sides which showed that the box had been opened and was most likely a previous customer return. Upon opening the box, there was visible damage to the actual wood surfaces in the form of large chunks been chipped away. There are was ABSOLUTELY NO assembly instructions with the shipment, yet there were MANY parts to assemble. Upon doing an internet search for assembly instructions I discovered that the exact SAME standing desk was available at Wal-mart for LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE that Staples was charging. Even Home Depot offered the same desk for more than $100 cheaper than the Staples price. The Staples website also did not carry assembly instructions for my purchase. I had to find the manufacturers website and that is where I found assembly instructions. NO thanks to Staples. read more

I had a terrible experience with this Staples -- their staff spoke to me and other customers rudely as if we were bothering them by asking them to assist us. I called ahead to ask if the could do my print job before making the 30 min drive and they said they could -- they quickly told me they couldn't do the job after I arrived despite the level of detail I provided on the phone which would have easily given them an opportunity to tell me this by phone. They were extremely rude to a woman who was asking them for help with a printer as well, telling her to read the manual on the side of the printer instead of helping her. I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews but I was in a pinch for a same day sign. The copy center hit it it out of the park! I did an online template for a banner at 4:30-5pm. I called approximately 5-10 minutes after placing the order, my call was answered immediately and the young lady had excellent customer service and told me they could have it ready by 8:30. I was shocked, for same day orders it says they should be placed by 2pm. Picked it up at 8:30, the banner looked fantastic, the guy at the counter was equally fantastic and I couldn't be happier. Worst customer service I have ever experienced!! Manager Morgan(maybe not even her name) wanted nothing to do with taking responsibility on an order that was lost in THEIR system. Did not even try to help, spoke rudely and made me felt like it was my fault the order got lost. Her employee as well was very rude actually said to a customer well it's not my fault as well. Customer service 101 big fail. I will never return and they will never get my business again. read more
