The line went out the door and Gabriel was faxing paper work for me (22 pages) or more. He told me to wait while they were faxing, but it takes awhile and to wait at the desk. He then helped lots of customers while the fax machine was still faxing. He is the BEST! When the first have of my papers went through, he put the rest in to fax. On multiple visits, his comments and demeanor have given us the impression that our business--particularly Amazon returns--is unwelcome. Today was a good example: we came in with four pre-packaged boxes, one of which simply needed to be dropped off. As soon as we walked in, he looked at the boxes and remarked, "Those can't all be returns." My wife felt put on the spot and replied that they were, and his response was an audible sigh that made us both feel like an inconvenience. Other employees have mentioned that a large portion of the store's daily traffic is Amazon returns, so the attitude is especially confusing. Customers shouldn't feel guilty for using services that are core to the business. Because of these repeated experiences, we've decided it's worth driving to the other Carson City location--despite the extra distance--to avoid feeling unwelcome. We value good service, and it's disappointing to feel pushed away from the store we've supported for so long.

He even marked the box with labels to help encourage UPS from having to flip it so it would stay upright and safe during shipping. He has been there over 20 yrs. It takes a reservation but nothing is reserved. Reminded me of the Seinfeld episode I watched again recently. Call the office and reserve a truck. Btw, holding the reservation is a little more important than taking the reservation. Anybody can take a reservation. Heck, you'd be better off calling me to reserve your next Uhaul. Now comes the return trip. In the darkness, I somehow managed to notice the fine print in the contract (6 pt font) requires the vehicle be checked in online using the online service (if after shop hours) or they charge a $20 convenience fee. Wtf?! The online checkin app doesn't work any better than the reservation system. It took me about 30 minutes to setup an account and get through the process (about 1/4 of the time I rented the truck). It just didn't work. If I didn't have some tech skills, no way I could've gotten through it. At the end, I wish I had paid the convenience fee. Heck, they should be paying me for the inconvenience and time I wasted with the worthless app.
