This store charges 3% on credit card transactions and $1 for UPS drop-offs. Is it legit?

This place is convenient for me to drop off packages as its right next to the dry cleaners I use. Today was the first day I dropped off prepaid labeled packages. I was charged $1 a package to drop them off! I wouldn't come back again as I can drop them off at Postal Annex for free. It's not as if she had to do anything. I had taped them and they already had labels on them. Thought I would give this place a try but now that I have I wouldn't go back. read more

I was in and out in less than ten minutes and the service was courteous and efficient. Such a huge difference from the service at most post-office/shipping type businesses! this place is a rip-off! i went here because i was around the corner, and wanted to drop off my UPS box. they said they were going to charge me $1.00 to drop off the box. the counter lady said that any place like this charges, and we tried to verify with her, and she couldn't back up what she initially said. i know other places who do not charge for dropping off UPS or FedEx. it's very unethical for a place like this to charge UPS/FedEx drop off. again, do not give this place service. there's other places you could drop off your boxes with out being changed. they are trying to make extra money from you! read more

These folks are so helpful and hardworking! I visited Post n Parcel with my husband and two little kids because I needed passport photos, a notary, and FedEx service to get our visas to India squared away. Despite it being a very busy Friday night for them, they patiently helped me assemble and even correct 4 visa applications. The visa package (2 inches thick of forms and documents) arrived on time 2 days later. Thank you for helping us that night. We went from a disorganized mess to feeling a huge weight lifted from or shoulders. Glad you could help us through the crazy visa application maze! read more

This business is family owned and I have been going there for over 30 years. It is like one stop shopping for anything I need. What is really great...you are treated like a person (family) and not a number. They are very knowledgeable and can walk you through any situation...process of getting a passport. They are very efficient, so the wait is very short compared to the post office. I am usually in and out within minutes. I highly recommend this business! read more

Was in need of a live scan on fairly short notice so I couldn't start working. I checked out a bunch of places and I saw that this place offered the service for 15 bucks. So I gave a call and let them know I would be coming by immediately and the owner I believe stated that no appointment was needed and that I could just come by so I did. I got there at 5:00 pm Tuesday March 20th 2018. There was no line we do I walked straight up to the owner to let him know I spoke with him over the phone. He was incredibly rude to me just didn't seem too friendly. I could care less honestly because I needed to get this done. We get finished with the service and when he rings me up it says $38.00 on my the card processing machine and I asked him " Why does it state online and here that the service is $15.00, but your charging me double." He replies to me "there is a service charge and that in total with tax comes to $23.00 and the $15.00 is for him". I pulled up yelp and another website to show him where it's only says $15.00 for the service and that no where does it state there is a $23.00 charge. He then proceeds by getting angry and telling me that I need to means so he can get to his other customers. So I left and just felt as if I should warn others about this place. read more

Poor service and pricey here! The lady is so disorganize. I had asked to ship my packages. She mistyped my last name and she asked to just cross it out with the pen on my out going package. She refused to print out another one. I kept my cool and just let it go. I also asked to give me a receipt for tracking number but asked me to just take a picture because most people does it that way. Again, I let it go, fine no big deal (already steaming inside). Finally I asked to notarize my document and fax, she was liked what are we doing here?.. am like "lady I just told you"... I said how much? She said "$10" . I gave her $100 cash and she gave me back $50 as change! I was like where's the rest of my change?? She said, I already gave you. I was like what??.. I said how? The change of $50 was left on the counter so she can see that it was short. She tried to argue. I even let her looked inside my bag to see there's no extra $20x 2 loose inside. Yes! She had no choice but to give me back my full change of $90. I left that store upset and swear will never come back! I would have give no star if it was an option! read more

I did my best to be patient, especially since I could tell the owner was training someone. I went here to get my live scan. This is NOT my first time applying for one. She basically tried to change the info on the form that my employer printed out and sent to me. Meanwhile two other customers were getting frustrated at how many unexpected fees there were and how slow they were moving. It was just a bizarre experience. Went here for my Anytime Traffic School Final Exam and the lady who worked there had no clue what to do. I had a work order printed out with specific directions, and she did not follow them whatsoever. The link that she was supposed to go to was typed into the google search bar, not the actual site and I tried to let her know why it wasn't working. Good thing while she interrupted helping me, to help someone else my boyfriend came over and typed in the website for her. We then let her know that she had the username and password for that store, and she denied it. Sooo, I had to call the Traffic school and ask them what to do. The lady on the phone said that Post N Parcel should have a user name and password, so finally the lady realized that and typed it it. I finished my test within 15 minutes, and asked for my copy (that was clearly stated on the work order, i got a copy from them) She then began to tell us that I did not get a copy because everything was done electronically. I reassured her i needed a copy for my personal documents, and she told me that the computer was not hooked up to a printer.... (b.s.) so i ended up leaving with no proof that i had taken the final exam... hopefully i never get another ticket so i do not have to do traffic school, and especially never go back to this place. read more

When I walked in, the lady that works there was helping two other people in front of me. She was very helpful with both of them. When she helped me, she was also really nice. She called me "darling." I had fingerprinting done here for a school district as a certificated teacher. I paid $48 total for everything (DOJ + rolling fee + $1 for using my debit/credit card). So if you are using a card, they charge $1. She was very thorough in the fingerprinting and she also allows you to double-check everything she typed/entered in the system. While I was waiting, a man came in to drop off a fedex package because I guess it's also a pick-up location and it costs $1 to drop off a fedex box. The man was annoyed and asked why and the lady said it was because fedex charges for pick-ups from them, but USPS does not. She continued to tell him that if it were a USPS package, he wouldn't have to pay anything to drop off a package to be picked up. He said he didn't have cash and only card, so then she told him that if he uses a card, they charge $1 if paying with a card, so then he would have to pay $2 to drop off a package for fedex to pick up. Boy was he annoyed! So he left. I won't drop off any fedex packages here, but get your fingerprinting done! It's fast, easy, thorough, and reasonably priced! You just walk right in! There is another fingerprinting location down the street on Park Victoria where the Church/Cafe is, but it costs more and you must schedule an appointment to get it done there. When I emailed the man who does the fingerprinting there all he replied back was, "Make an appointment." Wow. So I'm definitely not going to you! I went here instead and it was a smooth transaction. read more

We had a very bad experience with Post N Parcel Milpitas CA. We posted 3 items on EBay for Buy It Now only sales. Someone, either an employee or a customer being assisted by an employee purchased 2 of the items at a Buy It Now price and never paid. We knew this because the invoice traced the sale back to this 1765 Landess Ave address of Post N Parcel in Milpitas CA. When the item was canceled because of no payment, we were constantly harassed with negative emails, feedback and quite a few phone calls to our home. We contacted EBay; they canceled the account but then another account from the same store continued the harassment on our account by repurchasing the item they made problems for. The harassment continues-emails, phone calls, you name it! It seems like Post N Parcel the company or an individual connected to the company are exercising unfair business practices that probably need to be reported to a higher authority in the company structure. Nevertheless we cannot find any information that can lead us to a corporate origin to file a complaint. We know for a fact the BBB doesn't acknowledge this business as accredited organization and people should be aware that when you deal with company, you're dealing with a bunch of loose cannons. read more
