I love this place! I was staying down the road and walked down here for dinner one evening. My server was very attentive and kind. I ordered a 3 meat pizza and it came out quickly and was amazing! Reasonable priced too!! The resturant is a tavern/bar vibe inside as well. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Vermont!

Very relaxed atmosphere. Service was good and attentive. Made great suggestions on pizza.

The pizza was good! The service was abysmal. There were 5 total tables with 3 servers and 1 hostess. Our server brought our pizza out quickly, which we finished in about 15 minutes and had empty water glasses. We waved to her twice and she didn't look at us. We asked another server for a water refill and they said we weren't their table but they'd find our server. 30 minutes after our food was served, I went in to ask the host for our check. It took another 10 minutes for our server to bring it out to us. Totally understandable if they were busy, but we watched the young waitresses chatting at the back of the restaurant rather than checking in with tables.

One of the better spots to eat in the area - they have super friendly staff and nice outdoor seating! Large menu and almost everything can be made gluten free which was great for my friend! I would recommend getting the side Caesar salad for an extra $1 since it is pretty great portioned and tasty! Would recommend

A great experience at Positive Pie for our first time back since they reopened after the July 2023 floods. Our server Aaron was great and attentive while we dined on the outdoor patio during a gorgeous Montpelier evening. Food came out quickly and hit the mark with flavors.

Gluten free pizza with Cabot cheddar, fresh basil and tomato was beyond good!! The crust was so crispy and so good

This place was amazing! We did not know today was their first dine in since the flooding. The services was great, the food was spectacular and the selection of drinks were sweet!!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch while out on a day trip from Burlington. We each got our own personal pizza for our main meal and shared the poutine as an appetizer. The waitress who took care of us was also the bartender and she was extremely accommodating. I was hesitant to get the BBQ smokehouse pizza because of the bbq sauce and asked if she ever tried it because I was concerned that the sauce would be too overpowering. She offered to ask the kitchen to go light on the sauce. Then when I asked if I could make one of the cocktails a mocktail, she was open to my request and made a delicious drink that made me feel like I was drinking something fancy. Great experience and we'll definitely be back whenever we're in town again!

This place has gone downhill since the original owners sold the place. Pizza is ok but nowhere near as good as it once was.

There was ample seating at the bar and as a single I sat down and the bartender was nice and cheerful. She helped me through the menu and I ended up with the fruits of the sea.. in an alfredo sauce. The scallops and shrimps were delicious. The noodles were great and the sauce, although a bit thick was very tasty. The only thing I wish I did different was I ordered the lemon cheesecake.. it was very cold so it'd been stored in the fridge as a slice and it didn't seem to be the freshest but it was okay. The atmosphere is wonderful. The location is great. The service is wonderful. I will be back. I'll just order something different. Dessert.

They have a parking lot which was helpful in the busy downtown area. We were fortunate enough to be able to get a table on their covered porch. It provided us with scenic views although it also brought us some bee friends who wanted our lunch too. The staff was attentive and efficient. I thought the food was okay. I had the Greek salad which was good and an order of fried calamari. The calamari and accompanying red sauce were both lukewarm which was disappointing. I did ask if the sauce could be warmed up but the second round, while warmer than the first, still seemed cooler than it should have been although it was probably the calamari that should have been hotter. My husband ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese which looked really delicious and he said it was as good as it looked. Overall Sarducci's is a solid option if you are looking for Italian food in Montpelier.

They serve complementary warm bread with garlic herb butter and it's delicious. The heirloom and burrata salad was the perfect starter, so fresh. I got the spaghetti with clams and it was one of the best I've had in New England. My mom got the special and really enjoyed it. We shared the grilled artichoke and were really surprised at how generous the portion was and how affordable the price was. Service was fine. Nothing noteworthy. Didn't get checked on very often, but maybe that's their style? Either way, really good experience. Would recommend and would go back.

Unfortunately, I think this visit will be our last. Two years ago, we ordered their meats, and everything was phenomenal. This time, we decided to try their pastas, and it was a mistake. How an Italian restaurant of this caliber can mess up pasta is beyond me, but it was bad. My husband ordered the bucatini all'amatriciana (or maybe it was spaghetti?), and it was anything but amatriciana. The pasta was drowning in a tomato sauce that tasted like Chef Boyardee, the guanciale was barely noticeable, and the whole dish had an overly watery, acidic flavor. It was awful. I ordered the mushroom fettuccine, which was better but still not my favorite. They went way overboard with the cream, throwing off the balance completely. For dessert, we ordered affogato, but our waitress walked away so quickly we didn't even have a chance to specify whether we wanted it with amaro or limoncello. She didn't ask, either, and ended up bringing ice cream without any topping (which was supposed to be included) and with a lackluster presentation. To be fair, the appetizers were excellent. The duck confit and crostini topped with sardines were both perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. The price-to-portion ratio for the appetizers was also great, and we still loved the cozy, romantic ambiance of the restaurant. But there's no excuse for how disappointing the entrees were. For the price and reputation, we expected so much better.

It didn't take long to identify the state's core competencies: Producing world-class cheese Perfecting brick oven pizza Aggressively curating a very specific political vibe Curiously, only two of those things are edible, and unfortunately, you can't get pizza without being reminded of the third. Also worth noting: I'm not convinced any other style of pizza exists in Vermont. If it's not artisanal, wood-fired, and served on a reclaimed barn board, it apparently doesn't make the cut. So naturally, my brain locked in and I ate pizza two nights in a row like a creature of habit. Night 1: Pizzeria Verità Parking was...aspirationally convenient. After navigating downtown Burlington, which feels like a live-action sociology thesis, I made it inside. Let's address the elephant in the room: the price. With tip, I dropped nearly $30 for what amounted to a personal-sized pepperoni pizza that politely declined to fill me up. I assume part of the cost goes toward sourcing ethically massaged tomatoes or ensuring the mozzarella had a fulfilling upbringing. Now, to be fair, the pizza was excellent. Truly. Great crust, quality ingredients, clearly crafted by someone who cares deeply about their art. But the value? That's where things get a little...Vermont. Delicious? Absolutely. Filling? Not quite. Financially efficient? Only if you measure wealth in vibes. I went in skeptical, left impressed, and still had to consider a second dinner.
