I went for a half up half down look, we ranged with full down with curls, some with braids, a sideswept with full curls, and a full updo. I'm like a little too high, she replied in agreement. All of the stylists were very friendly, outgoing and joined in our conversations like they were one of our good friends! The bride had the place reserved so we were the only ones in the place which of course made you feel like VIP! One of the bridesmaids actually came to the conclusion that her hair would look better if her bangs were cut, done. No problem! I really appreciated the creativity of the women here! I thought oh yeah just pin the back up...um no she added a celtic-ish knot to cover the bobby pins! The other girls all loved their hair. One of the stylists even came right before the wedding to do any touch ups if needed because our appointments were between 8-noon and wedding wasn't till late afternoon. We were able to set up a smaller room towards the back for our make up lady to come in and do her magic! we also had drinks and breakfast fruits and snacks in that room for us. The bathroom toward the back was very clean! This place is clean, trendy, friendly and does a fantatstic job what more can you ask for? She washed my hair with a new shampoo that immediately made my hair feel cleaner and softer. She trimmed those pesky split-ends, added some layers and got my hair into shape. She also provided some much needed sage advice on how to properly care for my hair. I'm incredibly grateful and feel confident I can take better care of my hair now. That was totally understandable but the amount of times she told me made me so sad because that just tells me that someone or some people in the past have probably been upset with their results but come on people! Hair takes time and money and if your hair wants to cooperate, awesome. If not, be patient because this girl (and any other hair stylist) does not want their ass on the line if your hair does end up melting away! lol. Half way through he spun me around in the chair and I saw what he was doing and it looked ok but then he spun me back around. During the haircut he said "well I guess this is your summer look" and laughed. He also said "I gave you a hair cut that I know you can pull off". At the end he put gel in my hair and I didn't really get to see what it looks like without gel so I said that it looked good because it did. I'm not one to put gel in my hair. He knows he messed up cause he gave me the haircut for free. When I got home I took a shower and when I got out I looked in the mirror, I was blown away by home bad he cut my hair. I have a middle part and wanted it trimmed and the sides faded up. One side of my hair is super short and more toward the front of my head it just goes straight down. He didn't cut that long part at all (which is why I went to go get my hair cut, to get the hair out of my eyes) so hair still gets in my eyes. The other side is short in the back and then angles forward to my face. I am now super self conscious about my hair and have to wear a hat. Never going back to h barbers again. Thought I trusted them but I guess not.

I had asked for a shaggy bob with curtain bangs, in a red/blonde shade. Unfortunately, I'd ended up with a badly uneven sorta-bob, micro bangs, unblended layers, a lot of weight at the bottom, and splotchy balayage. Katie worked a lot of magic and set me up with a near-replica of the inspo pic I'd been going for initially. She did the impossible and salvaged my too-short bangs, plus showed me how to style them until they grow back fully. I love the shaggy bob she gave me and the super-dimensional color is my favorite I've ever had! I can't recommend this salon and specifically Katie enough! This particular line is a bit pricier than other products, but Brianna explained which products would work for my hair. She answered all my questions and explained thoroughly how to use the products.
