They pride themselves here on the quality of their organic coffee beans, and it shows. Although I ordered a iced Americano with no milk or sugar I could tell by the aroma and flavor of the coffee that it was high quality. We also ordered an iced latte and no complaints here. There are tons of pastries both sweet and savory so next time I'll have to try one of those. The baristas new also friendly and eager to recommend coffee drinks that they believe you'll enjoy. Would come back for sure!

He had tried it at a friend's mosque and he says he's been chasing that high ever since. We figured we'd try to get some at Mokafe. It wasn't too difficult to find street parking, but the cafe was surprisingly busy for a late Sunday night. We placed our order for Adeni Shai, Dubai Knafa Brownie, and a Lotus Biscoff croissant. Everything was delicious. I have never had Yemeni tea before so I didn't have a bar to measure it against. I really enjoyed the tea though my friend said it wasn't exactly what he was looking for. I feel like it could've done with more spices but it still tasted very good. The Dubai Knafa Brownie was excellent. The brownie by itself was nice and moist with the perfect texture for a brownie. The Knafa set it over the top with the crunch and pistachio flavor. I'd definitely get this again. The Lotus Biscoff Croissant was good, but I liked the brownie more. It was about an average croissant but the Biscoff spread added some nice flavor to it. I think it could've used more though. It was buttery and flaky; pillars a of what a croissant should be. However, I'd try another pastry before ordering this again. The place is clean, they play great music, and the service is prompt and friendly. Mokafe is a wonderful Coffee House and I'd love to come back.

Another pair of friends had the Dubai chocolate kunafa and that was sweet and very chocolately! The other desserts looked delicious. I was so tempted to try them but I had to save them for my next visit!

They have dessert crepes, waffles, shakes, churros, cakes, sundaes, chocolate dips, etc. Whatever you're craving, they most likely have it. I ordered the S'mores crepe ($10.99) which included nutella, graham cookies, and marshmallows. The prices do seem high for a dessert, but the portion sizes are fairly large. You could easily split it between two people. I'm a big back at heart, so I can finish it all by myself ;) The crepe was heavennnnn sent omg. The employees are always friendly and work quickly. They make everything fresh on the spot, so depending on how busy it is, you may have a bit of a wait. This location doesn't have much seating and is pretty small, so it's more of a take out spot. It's also street parking on a very busy street in Paterson. Don't lose your mind, just think about the desserts.
