When I went here, they didn't have any food options, which was okay with us. We went here for drinks and to watch part of the superbowl. The bartenders were extremely kind and someone had brought food for those watching the superbowl. Would definitely come back here when I'm in town.

This bar/restaurant has been here for almost a year and I have not been here before. Prior to…read morethis, the space was a thrift store that moved. I wanted something besides going to the casino for dinner before WS game 6, so I came here. I sat at a high top table that had 4 chairs on each side. The Bar is dark and a bit loud. That was OK because I was by myself. It was decorated with lots of cloth to be Halloween spider webs. There are a multitude of TVs so one of them will have what you're looking for. After looking over the menu, I ordered their jalapeño burger It's a burger with bacon, fresh mushrooms, jalapeños, pepper jack and American cheese, guacamole, and Thousand Island dressing on a brioche bun. You have your choice of brioche or sesame bun. I asked for the burger to be rare and it was! Burgers come with fries and there was some shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and raw onion rings to add to the burger. I opted to eat them separately as the burger was quite large to start with. The top part of the bun was spread with guacamole and it added to the whole flavor of this great burger. My server was Ariel and she was a delight--friendly, welcoming, and made one feel your business was appreciated. I'll be back. It's just over a mile from home and the food is calling me back.

Decided to check out Petrol Head with some friends this past Sunday for an early dinner at 5PM…read more There were five us total and when we walked in, we were able to sit anywhere we liked. They weren't busy at all, which is expected. Since there were five of us, we did try a good portion of their menu, including drinks. There were food items that weren't available that night since they were revamping their menu, which is a bit unfortunate. From the drinks menu: Pink Slip - Light and refreshing with a tad of fruitiness. Orange Overdrive - Lighter and more tropical version of a Mai Tai. Octane Fluff - Smooth and silky with a bit of sweetness. Pit Lane Passion - Fruity Petal to the Metal - Refreshing and sweet, the Kettle One Botanicals gives it a nice floral element Tokyo Drift - Strong, grassy, and gritty. My favorite out of all the drinks was the Octane Fluff. It was super delicious and the toasted marshmallow was a nice added touch. My least favorite was the Tokyo Drift -- it had Rihei (ginger sochu), citrus, layered matcha, and apple sake. While it sounded very interesting and looked amazing, it had plenty of potential but unfortunately, I don't think it was executed that well. The matcha used was really grassy and gritty -- I've actually never had matcha that tasted like grass before but whichever one they used, it sure did. The Rihei was far too strong and did not mesh well at all with the matcha. The apple sake was just there. It was like drinking three separate drinks but all at once. From the food menu: Japanese cucumber salad - tangy, refreshing, and slightly spicy. OG burger - delicious, plenty of flavor, and the fries were really good. Japanese curry fries - curry had great flavor but I did wish it had some meat. Wings - we tried both the guava heat and the miso honey. The guava heat was my favorite, it was sweet with a small kick. Their wings were juicy and super plump, which was great. Shoyu butter pretzel - pretty normal. Nothing special to be honest. Service is a tad slow mainly because the establishment started to fill up and they don't have a dedicated server to the tables. It was fine for us but if you get impatient, that is something to note. Prices are reasonable for the food but it is a tad high for the drinks. They do have a happy hour as well but it doesn't start until 11PM, which is super unfortunately. I would love to see a reverse happy hour sometime for them cause I simply cannot eat that late. I'm honestly pretty impressed with our first visit. It's very rare where I find a bar where I like almost all the food AND the drinks. Everyone in my party would agree as well. They are actually expanding their hours to include brunch on Saturday and Sundays. We can't wait to go back again. Definitely recommend.

The food and drinks were amazing, and the staff truly took care of us in every way. Jeff, the manager, was awesome and made sure everything ran smoothly. I tried the Island Vibe (I believe that was the name) -- a tropical rum drink served with a huge square ice cube, an umbrella, and ginger candy. Such a fun and delicious cocktail. I also had a Moscow Mule, which was perfectly made, as expected. We ordered the bread service, Gotham flatbread, Tartufo flatbread, and the chef's tasting. Everything was delicious, especially the meat and cheese selections. The only thing I wouldn't necessarily recommend is the bread service -- two sourdough rolls for $8 felt a bit steep but the quality was still great. The flatbreads were outstanding, and the ricotta was OMG amazing. The space itself is beautiful. The room to the left is especially charming, with a mix of tables and booth-style seating, plus marble Connect 4 and chess boards that add a really nice touch. I was so impressed with everything that I didn't even stop to take pictures, which says a lot. Can't wait to come back!
