All I can say is ooooo PRETZEL BITES AND HOT GOOEY CHEESE SAUCE. That is really all, folks. Sorry for delayed review, I can still taste these pretzel bites when I look at my photo. The service was decent. Ambience is about the same for most video poker bars. Did I mention the pretzel bites and cheese sauce????

Jesus Christ What is up with that Lee bartender at Kopper keg, she is the worst bartender I've ever seen,!!! Ordered a beer, 5 mins later, asked for another beer. Could not even remember what I was drinking. I reminded her, when she replied had not been to bed in 3 day, Not my concern. She was on her phone her whole shift hovering over by this mother f*cker that's playing video games and just ignored rest of paying customers. I asked several times, finally I went to ATM, to get her money for the beer, it was a 20.00. She then asked me what i had i was like really, I asked for change Could not think right. She got me change then DEMANDED A TIP I LAUGHED AT HER Then i just told her you know what I've been in the service industry for 30 years and customer you and your service are shit. Could not even get a beer, with just 5 people in the bar.

I am an active player sometimes I win, break even or lose however as of recently I've had issues getting my food and drink comped I almost always order from the player menu and many times I have to remind the bartender to take the discount off the bill. Today was the worst example of this I had 3 drinks within the space of 40 minutes or so with active play I just so happened to break even in this time and I had a meal from the players menu. The bartender Juan while friendly and attentive gave me a bill with no drinks comped and full price on the players menu when I asked him about this and tried to get the drinks taken off he told me it worked like every other bar that I had to play $1 or more a hand and lose $20 per drink but I broke even so they aren't comped. Well that's not how any other bar works in all my time playing at various bars including this one my drinks have been comped whether I win or lose and I've always played 1.25 a hand or more so this was perplexing that not a single drink I ordered was covered after almost an hour of continuous play. I eventually got him to at least give me the players discount but still paid for every single drink. Perhaps I had too many drinks within the time frame but I should have at least had one of them comped I've never run into a bar that doesn't comp drinks for play it's just so standard but if this is the new policy of the Tavern I will find someplace else to gamble. Getting drinks comped is the bare minimum of a gaming bar if their policy has changed it is no longer worth it to visit and I would recommend any of the many competitors to this bar just for this factor alone. I'm assuming it is the bartenders discretion in which case I've never had an issue with Ted this is my first time seeing the other bartender Juan I will not be returning when he is there.

Hidden Gem for a REAL bar & kitchen combo!…read more I came around 7pm for a solo adventure dinner & was well pleased! Off the bat, the ambiance is decorated and fun! The bar was 90% full and while I was struggling to see if there was a single seat welcoming for me to sit, the bartender unfortunately didn't welcome me or help me in my decision on where to sit. I did find a cute seat in the main seating area and was welcomed graciously by Lexi! Since I was new to the area and the location I asked what she preferred between 2 food items & 2 drinks & her recommendations were definitely not regrettable!! Fun Fact, the kitchen is more Vietnamese based, so their specials are super delicious, vibrant and new day to day! Things you wouldn't think to be good at a bar, are in fact GOOD. For mains, Diane again opted for a Prime Rib French Dip with Swiss Cheese, and received a big bowl of au jus as requested. I declined to add some chicken after being told that shrimp was not available to be included in the dish, but in the future I will likely add some fowl, which should add another dimension to an already fine base for a memorable pasta creation. Blue Ox Tavern's owner walked over to our table to introduce himself and welcome us, and he kindly agreed to give us the benefit of Happy Hour savings for the apps that we had ordered just five minutes before HH officially began but had not yet arrived.
