    Old Fashioned w/ Maker's Mark
    Christopher S.

While waiting for friends, stopped by to grab a drink and burn some time while not trying to blow it all at the tables. Ordered an old fashioned and was offered any of their bourbons they had on the shelf. Menu also has all their spirits on there. Old fashioned was good! Just a little sweet, not overly so like I have tasted lately.

This place has fallen from the great hangout it use to be. Bartenders disappear for half an hour behind and you have to wait for the check. We miss the old crew here greatly!

Nice bar to come and have some drinks when you're down several hundred dollars and need something to take the ache and pain away of spending a second mortgage on a house you don't even own, when you realized the ladies of the night wandering around notice your husband is too poor to approach, and that drinking your pain away is a lot cheaper than gambling any more. This bar is expensive, and did I mention the several hundred dollars that I'm currently down, but they make really nice drinks. More of your old fashioned, fancy martini, Moscow mule variety, rather than the "free drinks" you get for gambling like Jack and Coke and pineapple and rum and stuff. I feel fancy here, and it actually helps to stem the bleeding from my open, but dwindling wallet. The bartenders are friendly, helpful in alcohol suggestions, and very nice. And it's feel good when you paid for a tasty drink that lasted a lot longer than the $300 you lost in less than an hour in the slots.

This place has a wonderful ambience and I really enjoy chatting with a female bartender. She is so sweet and always makes delicious cherry lemon drop martinis thank you.

Live music by Daniel Park! So cute and awesome!

Live music is always a hit on date night so it was a nice surprise when we got the Oxyx Bar and heard a guitarist singing! Daniel Park is a walking jukebox! Taking requests and kindly obliged to all of mine. Great music fabulous drinks and friendly service. An open air lounge so even if you're pulling the slots nearby you can enjoy his music without having to go inside the lounge. No cover charge! Follow him Daniel on Twitter (he also plays at Bellagio) and request your songs online! Small cozy bar located inside the Red Rock Casino across from the steak restaurant.

i will give it five stars. why not? all the barkeeps here are unfun, pretentious assholes. but...who cares?? not me. drinks are good. it's a beautiful spot.

This place very versatile. It has alot more to offer than meets the eye. There is a private back room that is perfect for larger groups. The bar is also great. There is an extensive selection of spirits. The cocktail list is well thought out. I have seen little change to the cocktail selection in some time. The wines are pretty good also. The staff is always very nice and informative. We're locals and will head here for a drink if we are looking for somewhere close to meet friends.

It was an excellent cocktail . . .

This bar is fine. It's located at the top of the stairs at Red rock. Drinks aren't anything special and prices are expensive.

Is this place cigar friendly? I'd like to know if I can enjoy a cigar and a drink at this place or where I can do that at the casino.

When we were there last I noticed a handful of people enjoying cigars. In fact, I believe that you can even buy cigars at the bar or from your server. They also pour some unique bourbon, whiskey and scotch selections which go hand in hand with cigar… Read more

It's walking distance to the park right in Downtown Summerlin, which made it super convenient. The vibe was very chill and stylish, plush chairs, low tables, open windows to the outside, and great music playing the whole time really gave it that true lounge feel. They also have bar seating if that's more your style. A huge shoutout to my server Katie, who was phenomenal from start to finish and made the experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back. Bonus: they offer a free margarita if you show your Aviators game ticket, which is such a fun perk. I also checked out their happy hour menu and there were tons of great options. The chicken tacos were delicious, and the salsa had the perfect amount of spice. Highly recommend if you're heading to a game or just looking for a fun, relaxed spot for drinks and bites.

The staff were rude the whole time for whatever reason they had, the host was very rude to us since the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The waitress barely acknowledged us to the point we were seating down waiting for solid 40 minutes and she never came, she even went to check on a table with couple guys next to my friend and I and didn't even look at us. When she finally blessed us with her presence, she came passive aggressive at us saying oh you still here, I'm taking you are not leaving at all... why we stayed? Tbh, idk. We ordered, food took forever to arrive and it was as cold as possible. We were there for a couple hours, we were consuming the whole time. We weren't being disrespectful or disturbing to anyone. We were really enjoying ourselves when the waitress came with the check and told us we had to leave, so we understood that maybe there was a time limit or something that we weren't aware because there's nowhere to be found/seen and nobody said anything to us when we arrived. When we were trying to pay the host came to rush us in a very rude manner and basically kicked us out because we had been there for a long time... being that is a restaurant and we were still ordering food... I understand that there might be a time limit thing, but the staff could've been nicer AT LEAST in the way they let us know or maybe letting the consumer know sine the arrival time, they could've offered us to move to the bar or another area if we were to keep consuming at the location. This is the first time ever that something like this happened to me in any country/state/city.

One thing you can count on, they're open, the energy is there, and they're ready to serve. The music was bumping without being overwhelming, and it wasn't too packed, which made the whole experience even better. The decor has always been a standout, super intentional with just the right amount of razzle dazzle. It feels elevated but still fun. Service was great, per usual. I really appreciate how they run things with a minimal but efficient team, it never feels chaotic, just smooth and well managed. Food wise, I'd give it about a 3.5/5. The highlights were definitely the kale salad and the Alaskan snow crab roll with soy paper, both were super fresh and flavorful. The surf and turf roll was solid too. On the downside, the firecracker shrimp and miso cod didn't hit. The cod actually came out burnt (like noticeably black on half of it), which was surprising, but the server handled it perfectly, took it back right away, and comped it. That level of service definitely stood out. Overall, it's still a great go to for late nights or even a lunch with a good bar scene, solid food, and consistently great service.

While looking for a new place for lunch, we stumbled into this shopping center on the corner of Fort Apache and Charleston. It is tucked away in a shopping mall and could be hard to miss. Do yourself a favor and look at the building behind the gas station, it is so worth it! My hubby had their chicken scallopine which was absolutely delicious served with sides of risotto and shredded fresh veggies. It was fantastic. I had a side salad with fresh veggies and shrimp scampi. The scampi was a bit over "capered," however, with everything else about this experience, I can overlook it. They offer their filet mignon at half price all day on Sundays for a very reasonable price of $15. While their dining room does not open until 4:00 p.m., their bar has tables and very comfy chairs to enjoy your meal. We try to do date night at least once a month and I selected La Strega for our next one, although we don't live in Summerlin I've been riding the Italian food train for a while and La Strega's food is just phenomenal. We had a reservation booked for 4/11/26 at 7:30pm, but when we arrived, we were told that it would be a couple of minutes for our table to be cleaned and ready because they were really busy. They don't have an actual waiting area inside, but you can wait outside, where they have some pretty comfortable chairs and couches. After about 10 minutes, we decided to go back inside to check on the status of our reservation, and we were told that it was almost ready and would be a few minutes more. We got a nice, cozy table in the middle of the restaurant near the kitchen area. For drinks, I couldn't decide whether to get a cocktail or a glass of wine. Eventually I settled on their Chalk Hill Sonoma 2021 Chardonnay. My LTP got their Priscilla cocktail and he got it not because of the flavors involved, but because Priscilla was the name of one of his parents' dogs. I'm a big Chardonnay fan and I'm happy that I selected this drink because it was pretty good. Their bread was amazing and some of the best bread I've had in an Italian restaurant! With prosciutto served on the same plate, the bread had asparagus baked inside and came with ricotta cheese and olive oil separately. Ricotta cheese is that type of cheese you break apart yourself, so we could add as much as we could. Very good thus far. Our entrees consisted of the pomodoro pasta and the rigatoni bolognese pasta, with Parmesan cheese served on the side. So amazing! My LTP finished his rigatoni but I had to take my pomodoro home as leftovers. He loved the rigatoni so much that he wanted to come back and order another plate when we returned home. He told me that coming here was well worth the drive, as I said to myself in my previous review. Thank you La Strega for a great dinner date! We'll definitely be back again!
