I cannot believe that my husband and I have lived within walking distance to this restaurant and have never tried until just recently. While looking for a new place for lunch, we stumbled into this shopping center on the corner of Fort Apache and Charleston. It is tucked away in a shopping mall and could be hard to miss. Do yourself a favor and look at the building behind the gas station, it is so worth it! My hubby had their chicken scallopine which was absolutely delicious served with sides of risotto and shredded fresh veggies. It was fantastic. I had a side salad with fresh veggies and shrimp scampi. The scampi was a bit over "capered," however, with everything else about this experience, I can overlook it. They offer their filet mignon at half price all day on Sundays for a very reasonable price of $15. While their dining room does not open until 4:00 p.m., their bar has tables and very comfy chairs to enjoy your meal. The had a breakfast menu that looked awesome and the prices were more than reasonable. As you would expect, they offer an extensive martini list and the rest of their bar menu is excellent. If I wasn't doing Dry January, I would have been all over that menu! Our server, Jamie, was fantastic and very patient with us since we had never visited and had many questions. By far one of the best steak specials out there! A true neighborhood gem that offers far more than martinis. After a long week, I love coming here on Sundays for their $15 filet mignon special, yes I said $15! You get a tender 8oz filet with mashed potatoes, veggie, caramelized onions, and a red wine sauce. There's a one drink minimum, which honestly works in my favor because by Sunday I'm more than ready for a cocktail. Drinks run $5-$15. Night owls will be happy to know this special is also offered daily from midnight to 3am. Their happy hour is one of the best in town. $5 well drinks, $6 martinis and wine, and several tasty food specials like truffled mac n cheese balls and flat breads. HH runs daily from 3:30pm-5:30pm and again from midnight to 4am. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, lots of dark wood, soft lighting, friendly bartenders, great specials, and consistently delicious food. I'm not a sports person at all, but this place never feels like a typical sports bar. It's open 24/7, and if you enjoy playing, there are video poker machines at the bar. I really had high hopes going back to this spot for drinks + girls chit chat time, however the bartending lady there gave us such a bad experience it was actually so unpleasant dealing with her! We noticed at midnight was the end of her shift so she was probably over it, it's understandable but there's no need to treat paying RETURNING customers the way she treated us! We were seating at the booth area for over 20 minutes and nobody even came up to us to see what we wanted to order, i had to personally get up and ask the bartending lady if they had forgot about us and her response was that "I told you to come order i don't get order from the tables" - lady if that was what you told us we wouldn't wait over 20 minutes for someone. She also messed up our drinks and had so much attitude- just miserable. Once her shift was over at midnight, the new bartender took over i believe his name was Edward and he was such a gentleman and took amazing care of us! We've been here nearly six years and just discovered The Martini. How could we have missed this neighborhood jewel? Well, we're making up for lost time. We've gone to The Martini three times now, each time with a different set of friends. And each time, to rave reviews. First, we love the ambiance. it looks like a very expensive law office or library, with rich woods, fine details and soft lighting. We loved sitting by the fireplace (there are three see-through fireplaces) and plopping down on big and very comfortable chairs. It's like being in one's living room. And there's Jacqueline, a very lively conversational and attentive server who engages all her customers. She makes such a difference in our enjoyment of going there. Love that they have happy hours every day, 3:30 - 5:30 pm AND midnight to 4:00 am. Finally --- their happy hour menu is outstanding. We've tried everything on the menu and have our favorites: the flat breads, the sliders and the chicken wings. We have yet to go there for lunch or dinner, but we are sure to enjoy that too because of the fabulous menu. And did I mention how tasty everything is? The sliders are scrumptious, the chicken wings crispy and juicy, the flat breads delicious. Also loved the special cocktails. They were simply superb. They have a fun thing to do: choose an from several wrapped botttles of wine and buy one for $6. Because they're wrapped, one can't see what each bottle is. But that's the fun part. When I unwrapped the bottle I got (for $6) and after researching the label, I was thrilled to see I got a $30 bottle of wine! We were advised to make reservations for their Sunday special, $15 fillet dinner with a purchase of a drink. We visited for lunch on Friday with a party of two and it was a very nice experience. We arrived and seated ourselves at a table in the bar area. It appears only the bar area is open for dining during the day, and we ordered through the bartender. We started with appetizers; Wagyu Meatball Sliders and Wings. Both were well prepared and tasty. The sliders included extra marinara sauce, which was great. From there we went with a Pesto Chicken and Avocado Sandwich and an Ahi Tuna Sandwich. The sandwiches were large and were accompanied by a lot of really salty fries. The bartender, So, was excellent. Her service was friendly, prompt, and professional. Give her a raise. I have been meaning to post this review since President's Day, February 16th. A friend and I went here for happy hour. When we asked for the happy hour the cocktail waitress said because it's a holiday that they weren't offering happy hour. We were both surprised, so we ordered drinks at the regular price. However, a hour later a cocktail waitress started her shift and gave customers a happy hour menu. So which is it? Do you or don't you offer happy hour on holidays? I do think this review would be different if the situation wasn't confusing. I was very impressed with the restaurant as far as the entire design and style! This review is strictly about the lack of common sense by 1 member of the bar staff. I was going to meet my date at 4 pm today, Saturday, 11/15/25. I arrived a few minutes early to get a couple seats at the bar.. My date called and said she would be an hour late. So I decided to just sit at the bar for an hour and watch a game on the TV. This one female bar staff member told me I could not sit at the bar without buying something. I explained to her that I would rather wait for my date because I didn't want to start drinking until she arrived and that we would order drinks, food, etc at 5. So I just left. I'm addition to how stupid this was on the face of it: 1. The bar was 80% EMPTY. Not like anyone was waiting for a bar seat 2. We would have spent $90-110 (what we usually spend there for the last couple years) for food and drinks. I probably visit The Martini 4 times a year Congratulations on your excellent policy - it just cost you $400/year for as long as I live. You will see the "Business Manager's" reply to this review following, trying to excuse this by stating that this is somehow "standard bar policy" in the industry. Really? The venue was packed on a Sunday. We didn't realize it was due to their happy hour from 3:30-5:30pm and $15 filet dinner. We got in around 5:15pm and we had to have gotten a reservation to sit in the side room or just wait until we could be seated in the bar area. We opted for the latter. The mgr/owner, Nick, apologized for the wait and had us seated as soon as the rush died down. The menu was pretty good, but the happy hour was definitely a win. We opted for edamame, flatbread, and sliders for the happy hour offerings and my husband got the filet dinner paired with a wine. It was dimly lit and we had to take turns reading the menu on our phones, but quite a lively place, especially since a lot of football games were on. The sound wasn't super loud and volume was medium. I was so torn between getting a martini or opting for a neat pour of some sort, but ended up getting a pour of the Fortaleza Winter Blend. Let me just say that although it was a bit of a wait at first, well worth it! The appetizers and my husband's wine came out almost immediately. Nick came over and apologized for the wait and explained that with Happy Hour, the steak deal, and it being a Sunday, we came in during a chaotic time. He also gave us a complementary pour to finish out the rest of the Fortaleza Winter Blend bottle as a sort of apology. The regular entrees that we ordered were delivered quickly after, but unfortunately we over ordered and the wrap ended up being lunch on the next day. The filet was cooked perfectly at medium, mashed potaoes and veggies were seasoned well. The pizza, edamame, sliders, and drinks were also prepared well. We definitely took home a bunch of the food, but it was great to know that their menu is just as good as we both rememebered. And the service was pretty good too. I'll have to make my way back to this spot on a Wednesday (Whiskey Wednesday) or other themed day to take advantage of the good deals on food and drink. Had high hopes for this place. The inside is beautiful, atmosphere was great but the food is a joke. All the food was mediocre at best. We started with the mac n cheese balls which were ok and lukewarm but whatever not a big deal. But then they brought out the "flatbread". Idk where they got the idea that they should make this the flatbread but it was terrible and comical. It was practically a tortilla with frozen chicken and canned mushrooms. Granted the price is pretty decent but i was expecting more considering how beautiful this place was. Won't be coming back but hopefully they change their menu or at least- revamp it. read more

Kind of a clubby look to the place with dark wood walls. The eating area is separate from the bar area, but noise from the bar area makes its way through shuttered openings between the 2 areas. The menu is pretty all encompassing, so most people should find something to eat. My Angel Hair with Jumbo Shrimp Scampi was very good. Shrimp were cooked well. Lemon sauce with spinach, tomatoes and capers was great, very yummy. The garlic bread that came with the entree was also very good. My husband said he liked his Thai Chicken Wrap. The drinks here are really good, but my meal last night was not it. My mom and I shared the calamari which I really enjoyed! I ordered the ahi tuna sliders as my main and the fish tasted weird and dry and no seasoning. It was very bland. My mom had the steak and she said she really enjoyed it. Initially we came here because my mom tried the steak the last time she was there and she enjoyed it so much she wanted to go back. I don't want to be graphic for the sake of this review, let's just say I'm having "stomach problems" all day today. Not sure, maybe the fish wasn't fresh? My mom tasted the sliders and she said it tasted funny. Sliders didn't have enough of the pickled veggies, so I asked for more to put in the sliders, I thought maybe the sliders would taste better with more veggies. Waiter was very accommodating and brought me more. Anyways, I'll stick to Ceasar salad next time. You can't go wrong with that. The drinks were yummy. At first I tried the thinmintini but I didn't realize how sweet it would be, I should of gotten it for dessert. Luckily the bartender was very nice and made me a dirty martini instead. It's been years since I visited The Martini, so hubby and I went in on a Saturday night for a drink and an appetizer. Dark brown wood interior, some couches and high tops as well as a gaming bar and big screen TVs playing the game. I don't think the dining room was open, because no one was in it. This could actually be a good first date spot, but it's a little too brightly lit and the TVs take away from the ambiance. Our server was super nice, and our drinks were great and reasonably priced . We got the meatball sliders, and while they were prepared well, the meat didn't taste seasoned at all. We actually had to use the salt shaker to give them a little flavor. We came in on Saturday afternoon about 330 and sat and decided to gamble a little before we ordered. We were able to sign up for a players card and take our time since the restaurant/bar wasn't very busy at the time. HH is from 330-530pm daily and they have a solid bunch of options from drinks to appetizers. We opted to split the chicken wings, the martini sliders, and on of the flat breads. Since we were gambling our drinks were comped. Our order came out promptly and was very tasty. My favorite was definitely the sliders although I wish they put the sauce on the burger, not just on the side smared on the plate. The wing flavor (Thai peanut) were delicious. I just next time would get the wings crispy because they lacked a crunch I like. Lastly, the martini flatbread was tasty as well but def lacked a little more sauce it felt a bit dry.
