I had Wineaux on my list for a while and finally made it after receiving a buy 1 get 1 free drink from the Resort at Summerlin. I arrived at 5 PM and the place was starting to fill up. I chose a comfortable booth for two people with a great view of the entire room. The décor is beautiful. Joseph my server helped me choose the wine, a Pinot Noir from California and a Grenache from Spain. Both were excellent. My food choice was Hummus & Crudite which had a variety of vegetables, olive tapenade and hummus. A great dish to pair with wine. Wineaux is a great concept in a fine location. I had previously been to the Wineaux by Durango Casino in the UnCommons and had actually forgotten a second location opened inside the JW Marriott so was stoked to see it during my recent stay. The sommeliers/bartenders are great here. I also love that they have a nice variety of wines and not all are overpriced! Because we were staying at the Marriott, they had given us a coupon booklet which had a free glass of wine from Wineaux. I went with the Line39 Chardonnay which is great for a free wine. We had dinner plans so didn't get a chance to eat more during our visit, but they have really tasty bar bites here as well that are perfect for sharing. I got a New York Sour as my second drink and it too was made with perfection. The venue is spacious, modern and elegant. You can even buy bottles of wine to go if you'd like. This was our absolute favorite spot at the JW Marriott. Pascal was such an amazing server his attention to detail and suggestions were spot on. It's just what we needed as a little romantic evening. We had the Hamachi and it literally melted in our mouths. All the same plates were delicious. Compliments to the chef. The wine selection was perfect and we can't wait to come back. I went to have a nice time with my gf everything was fine, I had Púa as my server. It was me and two other ppl, 9:10pm came up... we had just ordered our last glass. Our server comes up and says we're closing at 9:40 tonight when their time said 10pm. We would had never ordered the last glass... 5 mins later comes up, "are we done" as like ready to pay at 9:15.... Literally never felt more kicked out of a place 30 minutes before closing ever in such a rude way after ordering so much. I was invited to an engagement event at Wineaux Summerlin at Rampart, and it was such a great experience from start to finish. The food and drinks were amazing, and the staff truly took care of us in every way. Jeff, the manager, was awesome and made sure everything ran smoothly. I tried the Island Vibe (I believe that was the name) -- a tropical rum drink served with a huge square ice cube, an umbrella, and ginger candy. Such a fun and delicious cocktail. I also had a Moscow Mule, which was perfectly made, as expected. We ordered the bread service, Gotham flatbread, Tartufo flatbread, and the chef's tasting. Everything was delicious, especially the meat and cheese selections. The only thing I wouldn't necessarily recommend is the bread service -- two sourdough rolls for $8 felt a bit steep but the quality was still great. The flatbreads were outstanding, and the ricotta was OMG amazing. The space itself is beautiful. The room to the left is especially charming, with a mix of tables and booth-style seating, plus marble Connect 4 and chess boards that add a really nice touch. I was so impressed with everything that I didn't even stop to take pictures, which says a lot. Can't wait to come back! read more

I will say this and take it for whatever it is. I have been coming here since this spot opened, I live in the neighborhood and my wife is a very experienced player with status ( I am also a business traveler under Marriott). Here is the deal the old Manager was fired or let go. I don't care about that, what I care about is the current state of this place. I love the team but the new Manager walks around like a Dictator. He is far from hospitable and sits behind his laptop during my entire duration of being there. It is not the staff that is failing it is the manager Laurent. The customer experience sucks to be honest as he will put himself in every conversation or interupt every server/bartender that talks to you. He does not want to interact with any guest. He told me yesterday that he has a job to do and he is too busy. Then he said if I am that bad tell them to fire me. I also know that he has been applying around town. I will make sure he does not sink this ship or another one. We are local, we protect each other and community. He has no interest in this and the reason for the 3 stars is because of the STAFF that cares and loves what they do. They are just being misled and if they are gone, I will follow. The service is great, the ambience is beautiful, and many dishes are wonderful -- the hamachi and caviar, several of the cheeses, the bread and honey. The reason for four stars instead of five is after a couple of months the crust on the flatbread changed to very doughy instead of crunchy and crispy which was delicious. I can't understand why if something was working they changed it. I ordered it tonight, hoping the change was only temporary and got the same chewy doughy flatbread, which is not very good and pales in comparison to the original crunchy crispy crust. read more

We had the charcuterie board and some incredible wine suggested by Pascal.... He really made the experience as he guided us through our entire evening .... I will definitely be back as this location is so close to my house in Summerlin. I definitely recommend you ask for Pascal as I'm sure someone as hospitable as him is very rare to find in Las Vegas . This is a great addition to the Summerlin scene! We stopped by recentlyon a Tuesday evening. The room is beautifully decorated with lots of windows and comfy seating. We were taken great care of by Pascal who offered wonderful knowledgeable service. with a smile. He asked about our wine likes and recommended a wonderful Rioja. We also enjoyed a great tasting and attractive cheese platter. The manager, Jeff, stopped by and cbecked on us, and Pascal was always available if we needed a fefil! My review is based solely on the Galentine's event. I purchased my Galentine's tickets about 5 days in advance. Upon confirmation, it states "thank you for your reservation". However, when we arrived, there was zero inclination that an event was happening. There was no sign, no decor, no reserved seating. I was at least expecting a sectioned off area of the venue for those of us participating. Maybe a placement or decor some sort. There was nothing. We were greeted and basically treated as a walk in with one available table and a lounge area available to choose from. We were given "drink tickets" which made the event feel very cheap. Hard to understand how a waiter could not figure out what pour we were on when each pour was very distinct, and we could also just inform them on which one at any time. It would have been nice to have an actual flight of the wines, but they just refilled our glasses each time, with the exception of the moscato at the end. The charcuterie board that was included was good, but we were on our second wine before we even received it. The wine bar was incredibly LOUD. We shared a small table for two, and basically had to shout at each other to have a conversation. The wines included in the Galentine's event were ok, nothing to write home about. Will I come back? Maybe. I am excited that a location in the northwest has opened. I would definitely want to be seated in the back of the bar in the little alcove, hopefully it's a little more quiet than the rest of the bar. I'll give the regular wine menu and food a chance. Would I go to another event based off Galentine's? Definitely not. read more

I have been to this location a few times. It is located within rampart casino, which is trying to revamp the "old folks home" vibe, "the resort at summerlin" is the new new name... Service is spotty at best...servers lack wine knowledge...and service knowledge really. Last visit was first time I ordered a flight at the bar. The bartender (def not a sommelier)...had ZERO knowledge of wine, was not able to provide any tasting notes on wine insights. Basically I pad $60 for 4 little glasses of wine. I tried to engage with the bartender...he was really nice...but no clue of wine. I commented on one and then asked what he thought of it and he told me he had never had the wines before...???? So...don't come to this place thinking it's a real wine bar....it's not...it's just a bar. Don't pay for a tasting...in fact don't go....just sit next to great grandma at one of the bars in the casino and get a free glass of wine...also, I don't know if it was social security check day...but the casino was full of walkers and mobility scooters... read more
