What a perfect hidden spot to go on a date. The food was exceptional and the service was good. We love the patio area here and can't wait to come back when it's warmer.

we've been excited for a new spot finally opening at this location. we love the walking distance casual spots. Goods first -location is cute and convenient -plenty of parking -indoors outdoor but well conditioned -TV's around for watching sports -happy hour -good wine selection -friendly owner and staff Could be better -food items ordered were just all underwhelming. -happy hour menu is not that great. -Focaccia pizza was just thick bread and that's mostly what you tasted. Needs more sauce and cheese. didn't really taste the truffle on carpaccio. And Caprese was also very bland. We tried a pappardelle pesto and it was just very mild in flavor. However we are gonna give this place more tries since it's new and we wanna live it! :) I'll update my review base on next visit!

This little place opened two months ago right next to Americana. They are a little rusty on service, but they just have to work the kinks out. At the table we got two pizzas and two pastas. My pizza was not super flavorful but the pasta is worthy of going back. I don't even like red sauce, but my husband's ragou was delicious. I'm going back to try the vodka pasta. They also need bread service of some kind. When I have Italian k want some bread. The hostess and owner were very personable and it was lovely to meet them. I look forward to going back and love that we have a new restaurant in the neighborhood.

I'm already mad for the culinary pleasures at Aromi. That's the Italian restaurant in Summerlin North owned by chef German Castellanos who previously worked his magic for 12 years at the old Valentino at the Venetian. And now, just four minutes away from the Aromi mothership, comes his latest place, Vino Aromi --a casual, moderately priced Italian bistro + bar offering a tighter menu, happy hour, brunch + outdoor patio. It's located in Lakeside Village within Desert Shores, next to the elegant Americana restaurant. Our three choices on a recent evening were just as striking as the food at the original Aromi: the Pappardelle Pesto, the Rigatoni Vodka with Italian Sausage + the Porchetta pizza with caramelized onions and truffle oil. The environment here is warm and cozy, with brick, wood, and circular red leather tufted booths. It's wonderful to have two different Aromi's minutes from where we live.

My husband and I had dinner here last night and it was a delicious experience! Started with the Caprese salad that had very fresh mozzarella cheese and an array of tricolor tomatoes. My husband had the rigatoni and sausage and I had the rigatoni with Bolognese sauce. Both were excellent, extremely flavourful. To drink, we ordered the Lambrusco, which was perfect on a warm evening and a generous pour! Our server, Alex, was informative, prompt and friendly and told us that the space they are occupying was a wine club at one time. It is a light and airy room with large windows and a patio area. We will be back!

The food here is very good just like at their other restaurant. I do wish the portion of the carpaccio was larger, it is a bit small. The pasta is made in house and cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was flavorful and the portion was filling, I couldn't finish it. Also had 2 nice glasses of wine and the owner, German, brought me a few to taste. German is absolutely lovely and it was quiet in the restaurant so he kept me company as I dined alone. Very charming. One odd thing is their bathroom is shared with the restaurant next door so sometimes people will walk in, go to the bathroom, and walk out. It's a little odd but other than that the ambience is very relaxing.

Great place to watch some NFL games and enjoy fine dining. I had the amazing seafood pasta and my wife got the vegetarian pizza. Our kids got their gelatos and chocolate mousse cake. Will definitely go again. The staffs are very inviting and ensure you've got everything you need or want for the dinner to go well. You can walk around the scenic lake after your meal too.

A delicious new addition to Desert Shores, Vino Aromi does an amazing job with service and its menu. The wine selection is great, and accompanied the charcuterie really well! We had the Caprese Salad and the Rigatoni Vodka for the meal, topped off with the Triple Chocolate Mousse cake! Highly recommend you check out this new gem in town!

The restaurant is nicely decorated, it gives modern Italian vibes. We went on a random weekday, wasn't overly busy. The service was excellent, prompt and polite. The menu spans most traditional Italian fair from pizzas to pasta to meat entrees. We ordered the calamari to start, was delicious and fresh served with marinara. The wine selection is pretty provost offering bottles and glasses. I ordered the lamb chops and player 2 the seafood pasta. I was barely able to get a picture in before we dove in. The food smelled excellent and tasted even better. The lamb wasn't gamey , always a fear of mine, and cooked perfectly. I would 100% come back here for a nice easy dinner. 2 entrees , appetizer and 2 glasses of wine. Out the door for 100$, was a good deal for sure.

Their menu is mostly Italian but is also accented with some Greek and offers a nice selection of meats and seafood. Inside is rich and comfortable. They also offer a nice partially enclosed dog friendly patio. For our first visit we decided to try lunch (M-F). There is a lot of offerings on the lunch menu. They also happen to offer at least EIGHT different salads that all sound delicious so I thought this would be a great choice to dine here. Even at lunch time they started us off with fresh baked tasty bread and creamy butter. My husband wanted to try the soup of the day and tried a soup called Toscano. It was a creamy soup with sausage, potatoes, and kale and he said that it was very good. We decided to try the baked brie appetizer because that sounded super tasty. The brie was embellished with hazelnuts, caramelized onions, apricot preserved, and was wrapped in a crunchy pastry crust. It came with sweet pear slices, grapes, and buttered toasts. It was tasty and substantial. It ran a little on the sweet side. I think some people could also enjoy this as dessert. For us this seemed like maybe four servings so we had half and brought the rest home. I tried the Beet and Grilled Salmon salad. They don't ask on how you'd like the salmon so I was a bit nervous about it but thankfully it came out reasonably good. The salmon was prepared well done but it was still very moist and didn't have that over cooked taste so that was good to me. The salad was very nice and freshly made. It was adorned with with generous pieces of cooked beets that were topped with goat cheese. The soft mixed green salad had fresh roasted red peppers and sweet candied walnuts so it was tasty. My husband enjoyed the Chicken Parm. He already wants to come back again. We were too full to even think about dessert. Our server was very nice, helpful, efficient, and friendly. It's so nice to find a new one for our local rotation.

You can purchase one of the 950 choices and they only charge you $10. over the price to enjoy the wine with your meal. This restaurant has won some awards but also has changed hands several times. It's written on Yelp that celebrity Master Chef Alex Statta and his executive chef wrote the menu but they are no longer with this business. We've been here several times and we find some HITS and some misses. The biggest HIT might be the French Dip. This was really great on two different visits. I also remember that the beef bourguignon was also very good. Desserts are always worth the calories and have been very good. The biggest miss might be the HK Burger. I was expecting a phenomenal burger since there is a $500. option for it (that I didn't try) I tried the just HK Burger $28. I asked my server if it was ground in-house. She said that it was. I also asked about the blend of meat it was and she said that she would have to ask the chef. She came back and said that it was Linz meat from Chicago. So that really didn't answer my question but that is what I got. I order my burger medium and with the salad side instead of fries because I know to have dessert here. My burger comes out almost well done with a kinda burnt roll. My server does check on us and I do tell her that my burger is cooked past medium. She insist on making a new one. During the wait the manager comes over and offers to get me some fries while I'm waiting. I declined (because I'm saving room for dessert) He also questions me about the medium cook and asks me if I mean pink or red. I said I mean pink. We wait what seems like a very long time. I finally get the new burger. It is cooked much less and can pass as medium-rare but I'm happy that it isn't well done again. My peeves are that this burger has very little beef flavor. It also can use some salt and pepper because this burger seems completely unseasoned. My other peeve is that the truffle brioche bun is served slightly burnt again. This came with some sort of sauce that came separated with an oily top. It wasn't for my taste so I used some of my husband's ketchup. I eat 1/2 and take the rest home to my dogs so I have room for dessert. I was surprised not be checked on but I saw my server was too loaded with tables to check on us. We tried the chocolate tart with orange sorbet and it was delicious. The manager spoke to us on the way out. On my next visit I will get the French Dip and dessert.

I first visited in May 2023, and after more than twenty visits since then, that combination is exactly why I keep coming back. The escargot arrived sizzling hot with a rich garlic butter that carried the dish well. Escargot itself is naturally mild, so the sauce determines whether the dish works, and here the balance was right. The duck breast was the highlight of the evening. The skin stayed crisp throughout the entire plate and the meat was extremely tender. In fact, halfway through eating I realized I had been cutting the duck with the regular table knife instead of the steak knife they provide, which says a lot about how well the dish was executed. This was also the best version of the duck I've had here so far. Service pacing was also handled very well. My server noticed I was still working on the escargot before asking the kitchen to fire the duck, so the timing between courses felt deliberate rather than rushed. Throughout the meal the staff also checked in regularly, and I never felt forgotten even though the restaurant was very busy. Small hospitality details also stand out here. The bread arrives warm, and the butter is properly tempered rather than cold and hard straight from the refrigerator. The dining room itself is memorable too--chic, slightly eccentric, but cohesive. Chandeliers hang overhead, one wall features black-and-white pinstripes with actual framed animal skulls mounted as art, and the bar area has a marble-style sign with silver lettering for the restaurant's name. Upholstered booths complete the room and give it a polished bistro feel. After more than twenty visits over the past few years, this review is long overdue. Restaurants that maintain this level of quality and service--even on a busy night--earn five stars.

The server took the SAME glass I had already been drinking from -- a glass I had literally spit back into -- and poured it into a communal pitcher that they use to make red sangria for other customers. I'm not exaggerating. My used wine, with my saliva in it, went straight into something they serve to other people. That's not just gross -- that's a health risk. Saliva can carry viruses like COVID and infections like herpes, and the fact that something like that could end up being served to multiple tables is honestly terrifying. There is no scenario where that should ever be considered okay in a restaurant.
