Just the best! Love all the people, service, the ambiance + of course, the delicious food!! :)

Our first time here and first thing we notice is that this is a neighborhood spot and a lot of regulars which was really cool to see! We ordered the baked Brie, yummy and the pastry pouch was unique, the penne a la vodka with shrimp, this was above average, the pasta shrimp was too seasoned for my liking and I like my pasta cooked al dente, which it wasn't here. And lastly, the sausage, onion, jalapeño pizza, which was not bad either. A bit on the sweet side for me, but I still enjoyed it. The service was great and very friendly. I really enjoyed the vibe here!

If you're looking for a nice, quiet spot (we went on a Monday, 4:30, and for the first little bit were literally the only ones there) to catch up with a friend and enjoy yummy food, this is the place! We shared a bottle of half-off wine, and I had the chicken piccata--scrumptious! Add in the table bread and we were quite happy. Server was attentive and never rushed us, provided great menu recommendations, and was friendly. It had been many years since I'd been here, but will be back!

It was a bella notté at Grape Vine. Better than I expected. Reservations were made a couple of days in advance. A special Valentine's Day menu was featured. A saxophonist highlighted the music playing to set a mood. The customer service, ambiance, and food were all excellent. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. I noticed Branzino listed on a menu posted on a wall. We shall return.

Excellent family friendly cafe. Our waitress was wonderful. Our grandson loved the family atmosphere and the spaghetti.

We went to Grapevine for the 4-course wine dinner featuring Cakebread Cellars wines--- all for $125/person. And what a fabulous experience it was! We signed up to be alerted for the wine dinners. We were so impressed with everything: * We were warmly greeted at the door and led to our table * Our table was visited by so many people on the staff --- the owner, the manager, the servers, etc. Each one was friendly, accommodating and conversant. * There were several glasses for the different wines, and each pour was very generous * The menu for the evening was excellent. Wish I had taken more pictures, but we were enjoying the meal so much which started with the most luscious salmon appetizer, followed by heirloom tomatoes with goat cheese. Main course was perfectly cooked beef tenderloin. And dessert was a a delicious mango/guava gelato. Every single bite, taste was outstanding. * Very good choices of wines to go with each course. Having the sommelier on hand to give us a background on Cakebread Cellars, and say something about each wine was both entertaining and helpful. * AND! There were several raffle prizes (wine, of course). We are most certainly looking forward to the next wine dinner. But in the meantime, we plan to go and try their happy hour (3-5, Tues/Wed/Thurs 3pm-5pm, featuring half priced glasses of Wine & Beer and discounted appetizers). The menu for dinners as well as their happy hours is incredibly appetizing. As for the ambiance --- it's truly a wine cellar. There's a bar in the middle of the restaurant, and there are walls of wine bottles. For the most part, they like to feature California wines. Made in the USA, yeah!

What a wonderful local find! I came here with one of my friends on a Friday and was so surprised by everything-this a wonderful restaurant. The service was spectacular. The sauce, the sauce, the sauce, the marinara sauce is all of that and so much more. I must admit I had a whole loaf of bread by myself, and ate it with this amazing sauce that went along with it. They have an remarkable selection of wines that pair very well with each dish. I definitely will be back.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in town (this location) because it reminds me of old Las Vegas where it was more about good meals and good conversation in a nice ambiance (if you know you know). This place has brick walls and a wine area that adds to its charm. The bar area is my favorite place to sit because you get a view of the whole restaurant, and the service is best there as well. The bartenders are usually very friendly and will strike up a convo with you. The rest of the service is subpar. Now let's get to the food. Let's start with, I've never had a bad meal at this location. Authentic Italian meals that are flavorful, rich and delicious. My favs: calamari, mushroom ravioli, blackened salmon Caesar salad, or fettuccine alfredo They will help you pair your food with one of their many selections of wines- there's a huge list and I've never been paired wrongly.

Check out Grape Vine Cafe and their music venue. In addition to delicious food and wine pairings you will enjoy the singers that show up and keep everyone entertained.

First time coming here and it's very cute. White table cloth but comfortable dining. People were wearing all different attire. Some dressed up and some people dressed down. We were sat in the very far back, right under the tv. I'm not going to lie... it made it not so cute n romantic. I wish we got sat somewhere with a light not shining down on us. The servers were awesome, very attentive with great recommendations. I was hoping the food would have been exceptional The food was a bit underwhelming. I hope it was just an off day for them

We visited on Thursday for lunch with a party of four and it was a nice experience. We entered and were greeted and seated right away. The dining area is large and clean. The waitress arrived and took drink orders. We started with appetizers; Stuffed Shrimp and Baked Brie. Both were very good, be advised that the Brie takes a while to prepare. From there we went with Seafood Fra Diavolo, Baked Manicotti, and Mushroom Ravioli. All the food was excellent, the Fra Diavolo was the best I ever had. The side Caesars salad were also excellent. The reason they lost one star is that there was only one waitress and one busser for the entire dining room. The waitress was also answering the phone and getting takeout orders, so she was spread way too thin. There were excessive waits for refills and the check, I would suggest putting more staff on the floor. Overall, excellent food.

Oh boy! I was so excited to try this place. We ordered the stuffed shrimp (which didn't come stuffed), we also ordered the mussels which we thought would come in a bowl like most restaurants, but it came with only six mussels which was very chewy and fishy, the calamari we ordered wasn't crispy enough too. Honestly, the only thing we really enjoyed was the clam chowder soup. The service was slower. I asked for a lemon with my beer and the waitress brought a lime. She didn't come back for a while so I had to ask someone else for a lemon. All in all, I didn't enjoy my experience and probably will not be back.

It's fair to say I miss the Old Grape Street, while the menu hasn't changed in years and there's still daily specials some of the little things that made it unique are gone. The house chopped salad in no longer chopped same ingredients but the presentation is different. The service was still fast and friendly with the waitress, the busser was a little inattentive bordering on intrusive at times reaching in for plates etc. The restaurant itself is still clean and well maintained, great for a special evening date or otherwise. Grape Vine keeps four stars since the main courses still came out well. It would be nice to see items labeled GF etc but we understand not every restaurant feels the need to. So it will probably be another five years before we return.

We made reservations for 12:30 p.m. on a Tuesday, though there didn't seem to be much point since the restaurant was more than half empty at lunchtime. After being seated and looking over the menus, we noticed that several items were gone, including the Bistro Burger and the Turkey Sandwich. The menu overall seemed much more limited than before. Our server took our drink order: two Kir Royales. For appetizers, we ordered the charcuterie board, and for our entrees, the Chicken and Brie sandwich and one of the Eggs Benedict dishes. When the charcuterie board arrived, the server simply placed it on the table and walked away without explaining any of the cheeses or pâtés included. When we asked about one of the cheeses, the response was, "That must be the bleu cheese." Not exactly helpful or knowledgeable service. We later ordered another round of drinks -- two more Kir Royales. The sandwich and Eggs Benedict were okay, but nothing memorable. Honestly, it was food we could have gotten at Snooze or another breakfast spot for much less. We decided to skip dessert. Then the bill arrived: $26 PER Kir Royale -- $20 for a glass of champagne plus $6 for a splash of cassis. OVER $100 for four drinks. Seriously? What made it even more frustrating was seeing bottomless mimosas on the menu for $25. Why didn't the server mention that? It will probably be quite some time before we return. We will miss sitting on the patio, enjoying the beautiful view with a meal and cocktails, but this visit was disappointing enough to make us reconsider coming back.

I first visited in May 2023, and after more than twenty visits since then, that combination is exactly why I keep coming back. The escargot arrived sizzling hot with a rich garlic butter that carried the dish well. Escargot itself is naturally mild, so the sauce determines whether the dish works, and here the balance was right. The duck breast was the highlight of the evening. The skin stayed crisp throughout the entire plate and the meat was extremely tender. In fact, halfway through eating I realized I had been cutting the duck with the regular table knife instead of the steak knife they provide, which says a lot about how well the dish was executed. This was also the best version of the duck I've had here so far. Service pacing was also handled very well. My server noticed I was still working on the escargot before asking the kitchen to fire the duck, so the timing between courses felt deliberate rather than rushed. Throughout the meal the staff also checked in regularly, and I never felt forgotten even though the restaurant was very busy. Small hospitality details also stand out here. The bread arrives warm, and the butter is properly tempered rather than cold and hard straight from the refrigerator. The dining room itself is memorable too--chic, slightly eccentric, but cohesive. Chandeliers hang overhead, one wall features black-and-white pinstripes with actual framed animal skulls mounted as art, and the bar area has a marble-style sign with silver lettering for the restaurant's name. Upholstered booths complete the room and give it a polished bistro feel. After more than twenty visits over the past few years, this review is long overdue. Restaurants that maintain this level of quality and service--even on a busy night--earn five stars.
