    Wine tasting

Highly recommend this hidden gem! My husband and I came because we saw a post on instagram and decided to check it out. All of the wines that I have tasted were delicious. We left with three bottles of wine and will definitely be back for more !!!

This winery is the first of its kind in the heart of Las Vegas and is owned by a sweet couple from the east coast that brought their passion for unique wines and flavors. It is located in an unassuming part of town in the same place as Frijoles, and the space is designed for painting events and wine tasting. John and Barbara were great at answering all our questions, even though most of us were not knowledgeable about wine. They offer wine tasting with either 6 flights or 8 flights; the 8 flights came with an additional wine glass as a souvenir and a peace of dark chocolate. They also supplemented us with a bag of soup crackers to cleanse our pallets. The tasting experience was quite affordable; I think this is a great date night or group date experience. They offer a variety of sweet wines with different flavor combinations and the owner John was happy to share his journey and knowledge with how he got into the business and what his process was for coming up with these different flavors. I was happy to see many options for sweet wines, which is my preference. The flavors that stood out to me were the Tropical Splash, the Monkey Business, the Strawberry Fields, The Raspberries, and the Blackberry Zinger. I left with a bottle of their Blackberry Zinger (classed as semi-dry but was easy to drink). They host paint lessons in their space as well, which I would one day love to do once I find a group of folks willing to do it with me. The ambiance is relaxed and suitable for all ages. Overall, we all had such a positive experience and I highly recommend coming here even if you don't know much about wine. There is no judgment from the owners, as they've had many visitors come in with zero wine knowledge; you might even develop an appreciation for wine after visiting!

Attended an event here yesterday. What a beautiful winery! It was very spacious with lots of different wines to choose from. I met the owners and they were both very nice and welcoming. This would be a great venue to host parties, bridal showers, etc. At the event I was able to taste three wines. My two favorite was the Niagara, and Toasted Joe! I also purchased a glass of the strawberry fields , Naughty Noiret, and The after midnight! The after Midnight was a little to dry for my tasting, but I loved all the other ones. I can't wait to come back and try some more. Thank you Pine Hollow and YelpLV for hosting an amazing event!

I came here to see what the winery was about. . My friends were in town from DC. Wanted to do something different. This is an amazing place, cute, but large enough to have a nice time. The employees are wonderful, helpful, and know their stuff! I'm having a great time. More pics to come

Nice little winery in the heart of Las Vegas. Saves having to drive out to Pahrump to do wine tasting. The owners are super friendly. The vibe was nice. I highly recommend trying this place out.

Amazing wine and an intimate environment! Pine Hollow is my new favorite go to for a delicious glass (or bottle) of wine and good conversation. The couple that owns this establishment are so sweet and the husband actually makes the wine! So many surprising and tasty flavor to try so I definitely recommend grabbing a flight for variety!

There is this wonderful place dedicated to everything wine. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. The atmosphere provides a wine tasting experience away from the typical strip vibes, which is refreshing and different, almost like a change of scenery. Come and try their unique selection of wines, as they are not your traditional varietals. They are all uniquely crafted to be easy to drink and distinctly unique.

If you like supporting cool businesses that are locally owned and operated, this place is worth checking out! All of the wines are crafted by the owners. There are some very unique flavor combinations that range from sweet and fruity, to dry and bold, and even some that are made spicy by being infused with chili pepper. The prices are super reasonable, so trying a flight of 6 or 8 doesn't break the bank. Among my friends the blackberry zinger was a hit. You can taste and smell the blackberry, and the wine is super smooth. I personally enjoy a bold red, and I liked the naughty noiret- I ended up buying a bottle of it. The ambiance is nice. You walk in and the colors are warm, the place is clean, and the sound level allows for conversation where you don't have to yell talking over loud music. The owners are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine making process. We were told they also have a great happy hour weds-fri from 5-7pm. I will definitely be coming back here!

Today my wife and I had our wine tasting experience and it was amazing to say the least. We had an hour to try 16 different wines and enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board. The experience was a 10/10 and we definitely want to come back. Barbara and her husband were very kind and welcoming which made everything even better. We don't know much about wine and they are very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We went home with our favorite wine which was the Warm Fuzzy! Thanks again for the great wine and conversation!

We had a confirmed reservation for Friday, December 19, 2025 at 6:30 PM for a party of seven. The reservation was made online, accepted, and confirmed by email. I even received an email the day before asking me to confirm that we would be there, which I did. On top of that, I called the night before with questions about the menu. Although there is no direct phone line to The Wine Cellar, I was connected to a concierge who, while not fully familiar with every detail, took the time to review the website and menu with me. At no point was there any indication that the wine cellar would be closed. Everything showed as open, normal hours, reservations active. We arrived on time for our reservation and found the place completely closed. This was not a casual drop-in. It took effort to get this group together. We had friends in town visiting who Ubered to the location from The Strip, we drove in from North Summerlin, and others came from Henderson. We dressed up in holiday attire and planned this as a special night out leading into Christmas. It mattered to us. Instead, we were left standing there confused and disappointed, and ended up spending the rest of the evening sitting at another bar in the casino eating nachos. Not exactly the Napa-inspired wine experience we were excited about. If a business is closed, it should not be accepting online reservations, sending confirmation emails, or asking guests to reconfirm their attendance. Employees and concierge staff should be aware of closures. And if something truly unexpected happened, a facility issue or last-minute closure, then someone should be contacting guests with confirmed reservations. That would not have been difficult. We relocated to Las Vegas from Northern California years ago and were genuinely excited to visit a Napa inspired Wine Cellar because we miss that wine culture and wanted to share it with friends. As locals, it is incredibly disappointing to see a business handled this way. I want to support places where I live, but this experience left us frustrated and upset. This was a big letdown and, honestly, a shame.

We walked right in & the place was dead with only 2 other tables filled. We got seated right away & service was polite & attentive. The ambiance felt like you're in a vintage cave similar to one of the wineries we've been to Napa. It felt relaxing & personable. Hubby ordered the worldwide red wine adventure which included 3 flights...a Malbec, Tempranillo, & Chianti. I had the Joe's the best of the best Cabernet which included 3 different pours of Cabernet. I'm from LA & have always been into cabs but recently have transitioned to old world wines bc it pairs better with food in my opinion. However, hubby suggested we have an open mind & order both the old world & new world wines. Surprisingly, I thought the cabs tasted better than the old world wines. The cabs listed on the menu are ones that I've never had before & it was bold as expected but solid. I've had better old world wines so it was just okay. With that being said, I don't mind coming back to try other wines on the menu.

The event came with a wrist band, a souvenir wine glass, a punch card and a raffle ticket. The wine walk had 20 tasting stations, everything from Riesling, to Merlot, to Muscat to Shiraz. Each wine ranging from $10-$20 per bottle. I have to admit, I only liked about 1/2 of the wines. But what a joy it was tasting everything anyway. It seemed like all of the red wines were on one side of Town Square while all of the whites were on the other. I wish they would have mixed it up a little bit more. With 20 tasting sessions, Yelp was hosting 2 of them. It was fun to meet so many of my friends such as Mel C., Terri R., and Tracy P., plus see other familiar faces like Ron L, River H.and Molly T. With my Yelp check in, I received a wine charm, another added bonus to the evening. I'm told each event has different wines, but from the 4/29/13 event - The best wine by my book? By far the Truffle Merlot at stop 15. The worst wine?? The Ed Hardy wine - *bleh*! This was the only wine that William tossed in the bushes (it was one of 3 I did). Atmosphere is smaller restaurant with tables close to each other that offer a view of kitchen or window. Despite table proximity, noise was manageable enough to have conversation. It was fun to seek Kay, co owner energetically checking in on every table. Will be back!

I've been fortunate enough to enjoy several meals at Ada's, but this was my first visit (on…read more4/29/26) to their new location in downtown. To be honest, my party of two had already imbibed a flight of beers at CraftHaus across the street AND eaten a basket of their loaded tots, so we were kind of already full before we decided to pop on in for more food. - Whipped brie with blackberry and honey: smooth, dare I say light, sweet, creamy, served with triangles of toasted brioche... this was a delightful dish. We ended up running out of bread so the waitstaff generously brought us another round. - Lemon pepper pork ribs + house ranch: GET THIS! I was kind of stuffed by the time this dish came out, but the ribs were FALLING OFF THE BONES and the ranch was the perfect dip for them. SO freaking flavorful. - Mick's royale with cheese: I am a huge fan of burgers. The waiter confidently told us there isn't a better cheeseburger in town, and I think he might have been right. It was GIVING everything one would want in a hearty burger. Meaty, juicy, crispy edges, cheesy, saucy. DELICIOUS. I can't wait for my next visit, except next time, I'll make sure not to pre-eat beforehand! ;D
