Cute, very quaint cafe. The food is always good and the service is amazing. Nothing fancy, but very nice and homey.

Had a great Sunday breakfast. Hot cakes were fluffy and not too heavy. Eggs benedict was delicious and amazingly cooked to perfection! Service was very good. The home made hot sauce is excellent. All in all, very good and highly recommended. read more

Local place with solid breakfast. Each component was cooked perfectly (hash browns nice and brown). At first I thought the waffles were over-baked but they didn't become a soggy mess once syruped up. Very pleasant wait staff. Very reasonable prices. read more

I've come here regularly since they relocated to this location. The ham and cheese omelette is the best. I love this place. About the only thing they should change is add a soda fountain. All soft drinks are served in 12-ounce cans with a large glass of ice. Refills and to go would be nice. read more

First time i came i loved it. Had the ultimate omelet. Best ive ever had. Very friendly and attentive staff. Second time i came a little less pleased. I had the pancake combo. It took a while for my food to come out despite it being kinda empty. They also gave me bacon when i ordered sausage but i let it slide since the bacon was delicious. The pancakes came with a ball of butter close to being the size of a ice cream scoop. Went here yesterday because all of the high marks on Yelp. I was greatly disappointed. I suppose this place is fine if you have very low expectations. The server was friendly and polite, and the place seemed a bit cramped, but clean. I was pleased to not find a large crowd on a holiday - but there's usually a reason for that. The food is well below average. The pricing wasn't bad, but I've gotten much higher quality food in larger portions for the same price or less. My recommendation is do not order the Salisbury steak breakfast if you're expecting Salisbury steak. A dry, tasteless hamburger patty is NOT Salisbury steak. Nothing is seasoned, and most everything overcooked, served in smallish portions. Not likely that I'll be back. read more

Service is not so good.. place is always dead.. they are so concerned with profit, they would not let my wife order a kids milk instead of a regular.. my wife was on a special diabetic diet that anything more than 8oz of milk would cause her blood sugar to spike.. tried to explain this to the staff.. was not concerned with the welfare of the customer just their bank account. Food is not great. Edible., filling, little over priced.. $3 for a cup of coffee.. really need to examine business practices to encourage customers patronage. read more

Have been coming to this cafe for close to 30 years if not longer, the owner children are close to the same age as my children. We were having breakfast at the old location before they moved years ago. About the friendliest family owned cafe you'll ever visit. Food is always excellent. Omelettes are our favorite. Ham & Cheese over a bed of hash browns, your choice small or large, and the small is a lot. Our kids have grown up and we are still going there. As a special treat we travel the 40+miles one way to go have breakfast whenever we can. read more

A great Mom and Pop restaurant just off of the highway and next to Costco! We had a skillet breakfast and an croissant breakfast sandwich, both were delicious! They only serve breakfast on weekends though- no lunch! The service was great, super friendly! read more

i have been coming here for about 5 years now and its easily one of the best breakfast restaurants in the Inland Empire,, They have a huge omelet selections with very cool twist and traditional styles. Its family owned and the owners/staff are great. Very roomy booths too!! read more

Had breakfast here with my hubby Tuesday morning after dropping our son off at school,. I've always seen the parking lot pretty full so we decided to give this place a try. He was very satisfied with his food (eggs over biscuits and gravy and a side of sausage). I however was not. I had the house pancake combo which was 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and 2 strips of either bacon or sausage(I chose bacon). The bacon had a funny smell and an even funnier taste(hubby tasted it and made a strange face too) my eggs were not cooked the way I asked for them and I'm not even sure how they got the pancakes to have the texture they did, they were hard to cut through and felt rubbery. All I ended up eating were my hashbrowns and half my pancakes. But on the plus side , I did leave full because my water and coffee were never empty! Waitress came by every 2 minutes to refill us lol. This place was horrible would not recommend to anyone the country fried steak was rotten meat it was sour and rotten!! Service was horrible and the owner there is incompetent she charged us the wrong bill and on top of all that overcharged. If I could put no stars I would. Where do I start. If i could leave no stars I would. A place with this many stars has never steered me wrong this bad. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. They brought out our toast 10 minutes before our food was brought out. Once our food finally came out my egg scramble wasn't cooked all the way. I lifted under the cheese to the middle and it eggs were really runny. The server tried to tell me it was the cheese. They took it back and it came back 2 minutes later after warming it in the microwave. I picked at the sausage and only ate the hash browns. Once we got the check I told the lady who seemed to probably be the owner who then proceeded to argue with me about maybe next time I should tell her I want my eggs fully cooked because most people like them runny. Really? Are you kidding me. I'm the odd person who likes my eggs cooked all the way, worst service and experience I've ever had at a 4 star review resturant from yelp. I eat breakfast here once or twice a week for a year or so. I really liked it. Yesterday I ordered breakfast and I noticed a black hair in my food (I have a shaved head). I had eaten a 1/3 of the breakfast when I noticed it and quickly lost my appetite. So I discreetly notified one of the owners (also the waitress). I showed her my food. I thought she might appreciate that. However she told me it must have been in the potatoes and that they come from an outside source so it's not something that is their fault......ya right. She then took the food away, came back with the check and gave me 15% off. She acted like it was no big deal and I was annoying her....I sat there stunned. If that is how she choses to handle food with hair in it I will never ever go there again and I drive right by it every day. What else is contaminated that isn't "their fault".....crazy. read more

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat but after this last visit its definitely my last. Me and my family ordered a country skillet and three rib eye steak breakfasts, out of the three steaks non were good, they had gone bad, definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I was introduced to Popular Cafe by my hairdresser. This place is like no other restaurant around. The selection is abundant, the service is amazing and the price is lower than you would find anywhere else for the same quality and quantity. Liesy (? spelling) knows what you like and how you like after your first time there. Her husband, Ming, cooks everything to order and always comes up with exciting and new specials. My favorite is the salmon cake benedict with just enough cayenne pepper to give it a little punch (and I don't like spicey food). I hope more people try this restaurant. They are really good people and deserve more clientele. Give it a try...you won't be disappointed! read more
