Euro Cafe is one of those local gems in Claremont that feels like a community staple. The moment you walk in you're greeted with that relaxed European-style café energy and the smell of freshly baked pastries! The staff was friendly and welcoming, feels like being served by someone who genuinely cares about your experience! Gave great suggestions for this 1st timer! Food was delicious! I'll be back to try the pastries

Avocado toast with spring salad and Hazelnut latte

My first time here. Needed to kill time before our next appointment. Ordered a hazelnut latte and the avocado toast. Did not disappoint. Service is great. Presentation is great. Indoor outdoor seating. For a moment, I felt like I was sitting in an outdoor café in Italy. We'll definitely be returning it.

Super cute brunch place with an outdoor patio that's dog friendly! The indoor was super cute but since we had our dog, we opted to sit outside. It's a cafe ordering style so you order food first with the cashier and then you sit down. Food came out very quickly for lunch service on a Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich on focaccia bread which came with a side (I asked for fruits, but you also have a choice of cottage cheese or side salad) and my fiancé ordered the steak sandwich on a brioche bun (this one does not come with a side), but I would say the steak sandwich is a must! They were not stingy with the size of the steak and definitely felt of value for the price. Both were really good! I'd definitely come back.

I stopped by Euro Café in Claremont for brunch, and it completely exceeded my expectations. I ordered the linguiça omelette, and wow -- it was perfection. The omelette was fluffy and full of flavor, with just the right balance of smoky sausage and melty cheese, and the seasoned potatoes on the side were crispy and golden. Paired with a fresh mimosa, it was the kind of meal that instantly puts you in a good mood. And then there was the butterscotch cake -- easily one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. Moist, rich, and beautifully balanced between sweet and buttery, it was the perfect finish to the meal. The vibe here is warm and inviting, with friendly staff and a relaxed European café atmosphere that makes you want to linger over your drink. Whether you're grabbing a solo brunch or catching up with friends, Euro Café hits all the right notes. Can't wait to come back and try more from the menu -- this place is a true Claremont gem!

My first time here with my friend Ray , his recommendation for us to meet here to celebrate our birthday lunch . Euro cafe has indoors and out doors dining , pet friendly outdoor spaces. Place your order at the register, and a waitstaff will deliver food to the table. Each staff we encountered were friendly. Two stop by to check in on us and to clear some of our dishes and offered to refill my soda. I opted for ratatouille omelette with mushrooms, bell peppers and onions , a side of toast and assorted fruit bowl. I was hoping for more mushrooms in my omelette . Either way it was good. My husband and I shared Tudor soup , a tomato base broth with cabbage , carrots , potato and a few slivers of collard greens. It was a tad on the bland side for me and lacking flavor . It could use some herbs to wake up the flavors. Other than that a great place for breakfast and lunch with a charming family oriented feel ambiance .

Jan 2026 - Yummy breakfast panini with ham. Big enough to share.

Girls brunch on a Saturday at 11 am was tricky for seating for four, but we did get an outdoor table on a gorgeous January morning. The food is cooked to order so always fresh. Lenny and Yvonne were patient and kind with our egg whites only omelette request. The hot Spanish latte was perfect, the iced Spanish latte with extra cinnamon was equally perfect. The atmosphere is casual and the staff is friendly. Ample parking in large plaza. If you enjoy the Claremont Loop or surrounding trails, brunch at Euro Cafe is a nice way to end your hiking adventure.

This is one of the best brunch spots I've ever been to! Euro Cafe is a family owned business in Claremont serving up Portuguese brunch and the food is incredible! The service is amazing, the servers and cashier are super friendly. The food came out quickly and the prices are fair especially for the quality of food you're getting! I had the chai latte and the Linguica omelette and both were spectacular. Everything is fresh and delicious. The latte was spiced to perfection, the omelette and linguica sausage were seasoned perfectly and they even have Portuguese hot sauce upon request. I would dine here again. Check this place out for sure!

I went to the Euro Cafe located at the country club. The vegetarian panini was delicious! It has zucchini, mushrooms, squash, pesto, and cheese in a banh mi baguette. The detox smoothie was filled to the top where even some of the juice came out from the top. It was so refreshing on this warm mid May day. The Mac salad was pretty good too. They also have little carrot and celery pieces in it too. The service was quick and no one was in front of me. The ambiance is nice too. I can see myself eating here while waiting for people to arrive. It's pretty close to where you enter the country club so it's a nice place to grab a quick bite while waiting for someone or if you're done with your workout.

We went to a coffee ride last weekend and we found this Euro Cafe and yes I like it ! The pastries are so good and the coffee. I missed the breads in Europe but not now beacause I found here and close to our place ! Bonjour !!!

    Oatmilk cortado

The best cortado anywhere! This is my favorite espresso drink and it's hard to come by a good one. They consistently create an excellent cortado--and with oatmilk, which says even more. The drip coffee is also delicious. They have a stunning array of unique dishes as well. I highly recommend the Vegetais soup and the Azorean Tuna Salad. The staff is also so friendly and accommodating and make you feel right at home.

    Pampered Breakfast Panini
    Chloe M.

I went here yesterday around 9:30-40ishwith my mother for breakfast after my doctor appointment, turns out that the food was good, I had a breakfast panini while my mother had an avocado toast but I want to add a small complaint about the panini. I ate the first half at the cafe but when I had it the next day, I opened it up because it didn't taste like an egg panini since there seemed to be less eggs and cheese. I noticed the day I was eating the panini, it was good but I didn't see any visible cheese but when I took a bite there's cheese. So what I did was cooked another egg and added more cheese, I even added Japanese mayo to the panini because it was a little boring. And service was not great but good. Just reminds me of Mt. Sac's cafe 91. Ambiance looks okay like a normal cafe but I think they need to change their furnitures but the front desk was nice. Also the cinnamon roll is huge, my mother ordered a cinnamon roll to go for my brother at home and from the looks of it, it's actually big

My last meal at Cabrillo was actually last fall during a rainy spell when the Cara Cara menu was being served here due to the weather. I recognized my server, Carlitos, who has been with the restaurant since the hotel opened. The menu was and still is a bit bougie, certainly not your "basic diner" or prefab Holiday Inn Express breakfast buffet. I ordered the Proper Breakfast--eggs, potatoes or tomatoes, an arugula salad and toast--and it was very good. Note there is only one omelette choice (oyster mushroom), and not every egg dish comes with potatoes and/or toast. The pecan sticky bun I've had in the past is also nice. Service was a bit sparse at first because they were setting up for an event in the Dahlia space. Overall a fine and convenient breakfast choice, especially for hotel guests. Other nearby options are Moonlark's Dinette at the Hoxton Hotel across the street, and Pine and Crane, a Taiwanese spot that's a fave of mine for any meal.

The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, especially when sitting down with a coffee and taking time to look through the wide selection of Portuguese specialties. The pastel de nata is the main highlight and the reason I would make a stop here. The custard tart has the perfect combination of textures, with a crisp, flaky pastry shell surrounding a smooth egg custard filling that has just the right amount of sweetness. The lightly caramelized top adds a deeper flavor that makes each bite more interesting. Beyond the classic natas, the bakery has a great variety of traditional Portuguese desserts and savory options, including items like coxinha, bacalhau croquettes, and Portuguese sandwiches. Having both sweet and savory choices makes it easy to put together a full café-style meal rather than just grabbing one pastry. The coffee selection pairs well with the pastries, especially the espresso and galão. A warm pastry with a strong cup of coffee makes for a simple but satisfying experience, and the outdoor seating is a nice option when you want to enjoy your food at a slower pace. The combination of the bakery items, coffee, and relaxed setting gives it the feeling of a traditional neighborhood café. The service was friendly and helpful, especially when looking through the display cases and deciding what to try. The staff was welcoming and made it easy to ask questions about unfamiliar Portuguese items. One thing to keep in mind is that hours can vary, so checking before visiting is helpful if you are planning around a specific meal or picking up pastries for an event. No one came to check on us or refilled our water not at least till the very end of our dinner because they wanted to see if we wanted to order dessert. Now, we watched them bus other tables out in the patio with water and frequent visits. There were only a few tables occupied at the time so the restaurant wasn't busy and definitely has the capacity to serve. I will not be coming back again sadly. Customer service is what makes or breaks a restaurant for me.
