Undercooked chicken

Several weeks ago my husband ordered online as usual $30.00 we live less than 5 miles from your store. The food was cold very undercooked. Just Down right nasty. We contacted online support, your MGR on duty at the time and have never received a future credit!!! I have given your restaurant 5 stars in the past told countless friends. If I could I would of given you NO stars!! By the way here is a picture do you not see blood. When are you going to make this right.

Over cooked burnt chicken.

The manager is just awful. I frequent a lot because it's the only one in town. Each time I go the service is horrible and my orders are not correct.

Not sure what this is fried up in my chicken but I am disgusted and going to have it tested.

Looks like a worm or maggot is fried in my chicken-I am going to have this tested and will update this post.

Clean restaurant, they weren't busy but service was slow, the chicken was bland. Don't think I will be going to this restaurant again.

Chicken tenders were terrible, felt like I was eating beef jerky. Do not recommend. Service wasn't that great either.

The customer service is subpar. The food is subpar. I give it two stars because they got my order right and it was warm.

On my first visit, I stopped…read morein just before closing and was impressed with how friendly and attentive the service was, even at the end of the day. I tried the wings and a cod sandwich--both had good flavor, though they seemed previously frozen, and the cod was a little chewy. The wings would've been perfect if I had asked for them fried hard. Dessert that night was a slice of cake that was absolutely delicious. Since then, I've gone back twice and left just as satisfied. For breakfast Friday morning, I had eggs over easy with home fries and bacon--everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Saturday's lunch was a massive Italian sub (or "hoagie" as they call it in Delaware) that was so big I couldn't finish it in one sitting. Their baked desserts are amazing--my personal favorite is the yellow cake with chocolate icing. Service can be a bit slow at times, but the staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the food keeps me coming back. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Smyrna.

I often had seen this establishment, never went in. Thanks to friends, it was suggested and as I…read morewent in, it looked like a mini version of a New York/busy deli in the middle of a massive city. I found that when you ordered a sub, they simply called out the #, and that reminded me of the Hot Dog Shoppe in Butler. The subs themselves didn't look unique but the freshest vegetables., meats, cheeses made this sub EXCELLENT! I would easily rate this a 5, and only reason a 4, I was unaware of the selections of breads and other extras that were available, and wished I had known this better. A reason to return for sure, this location, service, and taste? Nostalgic like Bob's Subs in Slippery Rock, this was DELICIOUS! (Sorry no pic of the sub as it was that good, it was gone in seconds!)

Yeah, it's fresh, however, it's getting skimpier and skimpier. At this particular location, I asked for more meat because..... look at the picture. The veggies are the sandwich, basically. They told me that they have to only slice a particular number of meat slices for each sandwich, based on the size you order. The thing is, if the slicer is on super thin, those 3 or 4 slices, equal to 1 whole slice cut a little thicker. I'm a fan but it's not cool to skimp on the meats that we are paying big bucks for for a sandwich. I want my sandwiches to look like what is portrayed on billboards and commercials.

A super cute little gem of a place located in the heart of Dover. Super quaint and tucked away with…read moreplenty of on street parking, as well as a parking lot in the back. Tons of seating! Lots of intentional planning went into this design. There's an indoor bar, dining room, outside seating of all kind (under tent & not), as well as a bar that has garage doors that can open to the outside. There's corn hole and other things to do. This place is a vibe with a German touch! Plenty of beers on tap, as well as some clever cocktails! They even have beer cocktails that feature their drafts. Service was exceptional! We sat at the indoor bar as it was raining. Stephanie was terrific. Very attentive and friendly. Ordered two drinks...Drunk in Love (delicious), and Beerloma (delicious). Highly recommend both of these. They had lots of other seasonal options as well that sounded delightful. Nice to see a pub theme place also craft some great drinks for the non beer drinkers. We ordered the burger on a pretzel bun and the German Street Diner. Both absolutely delicious!!! Impressive that we have both food and drink on point! No notes. The fries are great too. Don't leave without the cinnamon and sugar pretzel bites with the Carmel and white icing dipping sauce! We got out to go. Don't leave without them. Awesome!!! Such a terrific find. Wish we lived closer. Well worth the stop! Not far off of Rt 1 on way to beach too! Don't skip this place! It's amazing.

Loved the concept and setting. The beverages came out fast and they were nice and cold. My wife had…read morea Strawberry Mimosa and I had a .5L Warsteiner German Pilsner. Both were tasty. The food was ok to sub sub par. My wife had the bratwurst sandwich and she enjoyed it very much. I had the schnitzel sandwich with a German Potato Salad side substituted for the fries. Well, I didn't care for the puddle of liquid that completely soaked the bottom of the sandwich bun - I had to pour it out onto the pan that it arrived on, and there were not enough napkins to keep my hands dry and clean. The pork schnitzel was over cooked, not pounded to make it tender, and the breading was dark brown, almost burnt. I was hungry so I ate it. To make matters worse, the potato salad was a fail fail fail. The fingerlings were good, but, like the sandwich, it was sitting in a pool of liquid. In this case it was oil. Tastless so it added nothing to the dish, and there was at least a 1/4" of it under the potatoes. To say it was unappetizing would be kind. I had to pour out the oil onto the pan. There is no excuse for a kitchen to make pair of mistakes like this. Sadly, no wait staff came by to check on us, which was probably a good thing. While the QR code thing is "cool" it cannot replace the customary service model where waitstaff takes the order, and either a runner or the waitstaff brings the meal, and checks in on the table at some point. I was taken aback that we had to include a tip before even seeing the food or the waitress. For a little background, my wife is a German citizen, but born here. I was a hospitality consultant for a few years. We both know what constitutes good food regardless of ethnicity. I have been to at least 5 beer gardens, and even more German and Swiss establishments. I have prepared many schnitzels, and many German potato salads. Aside from the oil slick the flavor was ok. It would have been better if they used a little of the bacon fat, together with some white vinegar and a little beef stock, as a dressing for the salad. This is really easy to make and hard to mess up, but somehow the kitchen didn't get it right. I didn't give it a one star rating because the beverages, the ambience, and my wife's sandwich was ok. I may come back at some point since we are often in Dover. But I will not be ordering the potato salad or the schintzel. To be fair, a second visit would have to be a game changer for me to not give a one star rating. Wishing you guys the best of luck. The place has potential but someone has to pay more attention to both the kitchen and the front of the house.
