    Hot Cheeto Carne Asada Fries

Hands down 5 stars for the paletas! I have been here many times since they were at the old location and will keep coming back for those frozen treats! They have all of the typical flavors made with real fruit! Occasionally they come out with limited edition flavors that are always worth a taste. They have a nice outside patio to enjoy your treats as well as a small indoor seating area. The owners are very nice and always up for conversation. This most recent visit I tried the food for the first time ever. The Hot Cheetos Carne Asada Fries were calling to me. They were mostly delicious except for the insane amount of salt on the fries which made them inedible. The rest of the concoction was otherwise good. I wish there was more meat for the price. I ordered a side of regular fries for the kids as well and those were over salted as well. My fry loving children didn't eat more than a few each. I'll stick to the sweets next time I'm there. That is where Pop Fizz shines!

Chocolate dipped coconut paleta. Tastes just like an almond joy. Chunky, creamy goodness.

Our favorite spot for the summer. Great service and nice military discount or Yelp discount for checking in. We were lucky enough to be there for some live music, not sure how often they do that though. My favorite is the chocolate dipped coconut paleta. Tastes just like an almond joy. So good! My kid's favorites are the mango paleta in the chamoy and chili salt, they also are obsessed with the coffee paleta. The Mexican chocolate paleta and Jamaican raspberry are pretty yummy too. Tried the carne Asada and that was so good too. Extra chipotle mayo please! Yummy!

I frequently pass by this place on my way to school so I decided to stop by one day after class. The staff is friendly and help if you're not sure on what to order. I initially ordered the mango habanero paleta, wanted to try a hot and cold combination. I then remembered to check in and that's when I found out there was a check in offer for a chocolate dipped paleta. So I got a pineapple flavored paleta dipped in chocolate. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the mango habanero paleta. Something about the hot and cold just made it weirdly delicious. My chocolate dipped pineapple paleta was not bad but I was not too sold on a sweet on top of sweet combination.

What popsicle shop do you expect to have a drool inducing loaded fries??? Pop Fizz!! Not only they offer a delicious variety of Mexican style popsicles (coconut, watermelon, strawberries, strawberries & banana, and tons more), but also ice cream, ice cream Tacos, burritos, and. Those. Delicious. Loaded. Golden. Fries!!! Yes. Fries. I'm going gaga over it because they are topped with meat, cheese, some secret sauce with a tiny kick and comes with legit guacamole and sour cream. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!! After I gobbled up my mango popsicle I shamelessly inhaled two heaping servings of those fries, pushing aside the fact that my husband just told me he wanted to go out for dinner AND I don't regret it because my belly is very happy. Yup. I'm coming back. Oh they are generous and will give you a check in discount offer so don't forget to use your Yelp app

Service: the working was super cool and really helpful! He was all around awesome and helped me set up my Apple Pay because I forgot my wallet. Food: so I ordered the churro ice cream with chocolate and coco pebbles, ummmm yeah that ish was delish! The churros were so fresh and tasty! Me and the three girls I came with were able to share my dessert. The girls got a popsicle with Chile on it? I am not sure what it was, but they really enjoyed their snacks too! We for sure will be back!!!

Yeah, this place is awesome! We were the only people inside, which surprised me. Carne asada fries were like the best guilty hangover food.... Hot cheetos fries with nacho cheese sauce was freaking awesome! Popsicles were pretty cool too with some fun flavors. Even got a free one with Yelp check in! Highly recommend!

This place deserves all the five star reviews that it's gotten. The two brothers running this business (one is the chef, the other the cashier) are very nice. The place is clean and small and tucked right "inside" the Hispanic cultural center. After all the top reviews my wife and I ordered a pair of carne asada burritos. These come with: sour cream, guacamole, carne asada, french fries, cotija cheese, cheddar cheese, beans, and chipotle mayo. The tortilla was grilled on the outside and a little crispy. All these flavors meld together for a delicious taste and topped with some fiery hot sauce, are a true winner. After eating this fiery food, a cold treat is made to order. I tried the avocado paleta and was pleasantly surprised. It was refreshing, smooth, and not too sweet. They also had a kombucha, ginger, lime paleta that I was eyeing. Next time it goes in my belly!

Pop Fizz is amazing! So happy my wife and I found it. Everything on the menu looks delicious. We just came for something sweet. Next will have to come for something savory. We had wonderful customer service experience. It's super clean inside, I love how colorful it is inside. Today we tried a vanilla chocolate taco and a lemon lavender popsicle ! Both were extremely amazing!

Nice dairy-free & egg-free concoctions. The cucumber & chile popsicle is my favorite thus far. This time I had the mango & habanero popsicle (dragon's breath.) I'd definitely have the cucumber over the mango. The menu also indicates snacks and light lunch items. Items are pretty pricey and not quite up to par for cost but hey it's the only place I've found like it til now. The staff is nice.

That's Piggy Smalls sitting atop some carne asada fries. The food was tasty although the portions are small for the prices.

We visited this little restaurant in Albuquerque today located in the New Mexico Hispanic cultural center on 4th st. We had read how it was in a ghetto area but I beg to differ as I have been in much worse areas near the downtown central area. Let's start with the service. The service was very good and friendly. Next the food. The food was good nothing extraordinary but good. Portions were not large but were filling. Prices were a bit on the expensive side but were not outrageous. We had been wanting to visit this place for sometime and although it wasn't super it was not bad. It's a neat place to visit at least once.

I have visited Pop Fizz quite a few times and most of the time I left disappointed, but this most recent time, the Mexican Chocolate Paleta I ordered was amazing. Because of my previous experiences I didnt get any chocolate or toppings on it, ai just had the paleta in itself and I was very impressed. The food is pretty average. I have yet to try any of their agua frescas or any of their alcoholic drinks but I definitely will be coming back.

Waffle taco - it's a shareable size if you're not super hungry.

Sonora dog was great. Can't go wrong with avocado and bacon on a hot dog. We also shared an ice cream taco and I believe we got a flavor that was the last of its kind. I think it was white chocolate raspberry and - wow - it was good. It had big chunks of white chocolate in it. The waffle taco shell stayed crisp. We'll be back. You should go, too. We want to try the boozy shakes. By the way - it's very close to the bike trail so you can burn off 13 calories before you consume several hundred, if that's your thing.

I've lived in the South Valley for ten years now and I love having Pop Fizz down the street! This sweet shop is an absolute must. I was so excited to bring my three year old niece with me, she also gives 5 stars! After a nice lunch we arrived at Pop Fizz for a treat. We ordered the cinnamon churro vanilla soft serve topped with Fruity Pebbles ice cream, a Cookie Monster soft serve with Oreo's, and a kids scoop of chocolate ice cream with sprinkles! The soft serve is so sweet and yummy. I love the different combinations and toppings perfect for any sweet tooth craving. Their paletas are also amazing and come in so many different varieties. The staff was friendly helping us with our ice cream, the restrooms were neat and clean, and we also got to sit outside and have a fun ice cream photo shoot!

It's difficult to find good restaurants that can cater to young adults and have REALLY good food and service. We came first on Sunday for brunch. The food was very good. It was a bit small on the portions though. We had breakfast enchiladas and omelet and blue corn pancakes. Then we came back for dinner. The chicken mole was divine, tacos, sea bass, pork steak etc. absolutely perfect. Good portions. Food tastes like it was homemade. The cuisine is Mexican...not New Mexican. The server was great about answering any questions and willing to omit something if possible. Our server was attentive and so gracious. The wine list was surprisingly good. We had a French Viognier for less than $50. Finally the owner came out to talk to us and thanks us for coming. I'm in the business and haven't had this kind of service for a long time. The property seems massive and it's really beautiful with all the cottonwood trees. The food is authentic New Mexican cuisine. They brought out delicious tortilla chips for us to snack on while we decided on what to order. It really felt like there was no wrong choice to make. They were very accommodating for food allergies and restrictions. There was great flavor in everything our group tried. I split the half order of chicken nachos and it was a hefty half order! I was so stuffed, but then, hot sopapillas appeared and I couldn't say no to those! Especially not since the tables had their own sourced honey. There is also a full tequila bar, but since we were traveling with kids, didn't get to take too much advantage of that as an option.
