Poolside and staff are great and knowledgeable about all aspects of pools. Please understand they have in my opinion VERY LOW expectations of what a satisfactory install should include.
I expected that I would need to rake out and seed the dirt they needed to excavate, and perhaps seed and water around the pool, instead I was left with a hackjob of an install.
By this, I expected after the actual pool install that minor grading with a hand rake would occur by the installer, perhaps even a bit of grass seed. Instead I was left with dirt piles in my flower beds, sod in my flower beds, dirt in the driveway from the installer's trailer, a partially falling down liner, not installed Ozone water treatment system, pump bolted in with what appears as non-factory screws (making part of it sit on dirt). Also, the installer apparently cannot install a pool ladder for liability reasons (something I expected as part of an install), all the more for them to do in case the liner is cut.
Other than that all was fast, they accommodated the install date we wanted and were in and out in a few hours, perhaps too of few hours for my standards. If you want any photos of the install that I am not satisfied with please email me at stanharbold@gmail.com.
In conclusion, I am not saying to not use Poolside as they are great, but be aware of a horrible install if you have high standards, again my opinion, my standards. If you expect a pool to be tossed in, leaving random dirt piles, your are all set, enjoy your summer read more
