They've been out to leak at leaks, correct my DIY mistakes with opening or closing, provide vacation service - anything I need, I know I can call them and often get a prompt response. Brian and Alecia both are always very prompt with follow-up and responding to me. I went to open my pool yesterday so I could get it up and running before I left for a week's vacation this weekend. I should have known that sort of situation never goes the way you hope! I encountered a leak and what I hoped but knew, was going to be a major problem. I called ABC this morning, Alecia called me within a few hours to get more info, Brian called me less than 30 minutes later to go over what we were looking at, and had someone there within the hour with another guy on the way! From the first phone call to the guys leaving with the problem repaired was less than 6 hours. They really saved the day for me today, I was so worried about having to leave town, but even if they wouldn't have been able to get to it today, I know I can also trust and count on them to take care of my pool and any needs while I'm out of town. I'll also add that they support many fundraisers in the area. I see their name often supporting different local events and schools. Thanks again for everything you guys do!

TERRIBLE!! STAY AWAY!! Our family purchased an item that they had to order (not one mention of it…read morebeing a custom order). Once we got it home, it was determined the new fireplace wouldn't work for our space and we had to return it. They are charging a 20% restocking fee!!! Never once did they say anything about it being a "custom order/20% restocking fee." I tried to understand why the restocking fee; they said it was to mail the fireplace back. WAIT!!?? It's going to cost them $500 to mail it back to the manufacturer?? I offered to pay the shipping to return it to the manufacturer if that was the issue. They weren't interested in that; they want to collect their $500 "RESTOCKING FEE." We have done a lot of business with this place in the past. In fact, this past Spring, we purchased a large chimenea that is already cracked straight up the middle. It's ready for the trash. This place sure has gone downhill over the last 5 years that we've made purchases with them.

We received delivery of seven skids right away, along with the other material we needed. It had rained the morning of delivery, however, that didn't stop the delivery driver from proceeding right up through the side yard, partially into our neighbors yard too, and tearing it completely up (approx. 12-14" ruts). Our neighbor called us first to let us know what had happened, then we received a call from Tom Curley. Tom said Curley Bros. would send in a professional landscaper to fix the damage once things dried-up, and he was contemplating on firing the delivery personel as well. About a week later they did show-up and rototilled, layed minimal top-soil, and grass seed. They also cut the internet cable going into our house we would later discover. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to know. We were very pleased with Ryan Curley, who spread the top soil. We met him in the yard and he siad after the new top soild settled, and we removed the pallets from the yard, he would come back to repair the ruts underneath the pallets. Once the yard settled and we got the pallets moved, we called Ryan to come back to spread more top soil to fill the ruts. Ryan said he would be out that day. Tom Curley called us immiedately after hanging-up with Ryan to tell us the pallet damage to the yard was part of construction and our responsibility. We explained it was not the damage from the pallets we were concerned about, but the ruts underneath the pallets caused by the moffett. We compromised and agreed that if Ryan brought the top soil, we would provide the grass seed. That was almost two weeks ago. They never showed. We have since hauled-in the top soil to repair the damage ourselves. What started out to be a pleasant experience ended with very poor professionalism and customer service. We were not asking for anything unfair. We just wanted what Tom Curley had told he was going to do and we simply wanted our yard put back the way it was.

However, this past spring, it took over 4 weeks of trying to get him/his worker over to get them back on. Fall was a struggle too, but not nearly as much a struggle as it was this time. I was calling all the time, texting, my husband stayed home from work and his guy didn't show up after he promised me on several occasions he would show up and get it done for us. Don't get me wrong I get being busy and having jobs - we were just disappointed that he was quick to take our money when we paid for our sprinklers and get us signed up for a 1 year service plan and then didn't show up for what seemed like forever to get them on. Not sure if we will proceed with a service plan in future after the run around we got recently.

So, on his second and final day of work, Chris completed the initial project and also completed the additional work. Chris Peters represents the very definition of "professional". He is responsive and takes personal pride in his work and satisfying the customer. I am eagerly awaiting for the next downpours so that I can admire my new drainage system. Chris offers a full warranty of his work, so, I have no worries. Please know, that if you require any drainage or irrigation work, you will never find anyone as honest and professional as The Peters Group.
