Always insanely helpful and they don't resell your muriatic acid when you leave it in the counter.

Ask the Community - Scott Pools

Does Scott only service Hamilton County or will they come to Madison County in Anderson?

Good morning Stephanie, thank you for reaching out. Currently service Hamilton County but not Madison County. Since our recent move to Fishers last year it is something we are looking at. Thank you.

Royal Spa - Drained Spa After 1 year

Royal Spa

Royal Spa - Pendleton Pike - Ask for Todd Johnson…read more Todd Johnson has truly gone above and beyond in his efforts. His dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail are unmatched. I picked out a new Royal Spa. As a female, I was treated with complete respect, and Todd took me seriously throughout the entire process. The sale was easy. Todd answered all my many questions. I had everything planned out for the placement of the spa. Todd reviewed my plans and verified. The installation went well! I have rusty well water at my home. Todd was willing to tackle this huge problem. He has spent countless hours giving me tips on how to bring down my PH level, alleviate foam, and clarify the water. This is the best the water in my Royal Spa has ever looked. I absolutely love my Royal Spa. I've especially enjoyed relaxing in it with Epsom salts for a perfect soak! Originally, my mom and dad originally purchased their Royal Spa in the early 1990s and gave it to me to use. I moved it to my house and used it for 19 years. Remarkably, it lasted over 30+ years before starting to have some electrical issues last summer. This is a true testament to the durability and quality of the Royal Spa brand. I ended up giving the spa to a person who was an electrician, and he was able to fix the wiring problems. Now, he's enjoying this 30+ year old Royal Spa at his home! So, without a doubt, I knew I wanted another Royal Spa! As soon as I walked into the Royal Spa store, I was welcomed by a professional salesperson, Todd Johnson. From my experience, The Royal Spa brand has proven to be top-quality and is built to last for many, many years! I highly recommend asking for Todd Johnson! He will absolutely make sure you get the assistance you need! Thank you, Todd Johnson

Great service and a great product! Highly recommend!…read moreWe've had our Hot Tub for over a year, and it gets used at least 12-20 times a month! The cost to run it is barely noticeable. If you're in the market please stop in and talk to Derek Kitchen.

Pates Pool & Spa - This is the poor workmanship, which came with a non-customer experience driven contract they believe absolves them of all responsibility.

Pates Pool & Spa

As soon as Lori left (not sure if she was let go or left intentionally), the customer service…read morenoticeably declined. Up until that point, I would have rated Pate's 4 or 5 stars. I specifically emailed Pate's on September 13, 2024, before the pool closing, requesting that they ensure the hot tub was set up properly for the winter. I even flagged concerns about previous issues and mentioned that it was part of the process the team had consistently performed in the past. Despite this, the spa was not winterized, which led to a cracked filter cartridge when freezing temperatures hit. When I reached out in December about the damage, I was met with dismissive responses. They claimed the spa setup was not part of the contracted service and suggested that the issue must have been caused by factors unrelated to the pool closing. This was despite my email explicitly requesting the service, and their prior assurance that notes on my account should guide the process. The lack of accountability and dismissive tone made an already frustrating situation worse. What's most disappointing is that this level of customer care has become the norm since Lori's departure. I hope they can address these gaps, but until then, I cannot recommend them as confidently as I once did. A few observations which back up my original review: 1. Zero accountability. They don't respond to a simple email that was sent in advance of the closing to communicate with me any of the details that David is now communicating. If they were communicated before, problem solved. They just didn't respond instead. This is 2024. If you run a business and don't know how to respond to basic emails, then you probably should look at your own operations and take a little ownership of the problem. 2. People are busy. That's why we outsource these key elements of our home. We use our spa sparingly, thus the long lapse in time that went by (12 weeks). If David the owner wouldn't have been so dismissive and said at least "hey, we can do better...you can do better", I never would have felt the need to fill out this review. As I told him on the call, we both could have communicated better in this situation. However, I'm the customer, not the business owner. I shouldn't be the one to recognize that.

Finding a pool cleaning service for a rental home is difficult; many businesses are full and have…read morehad their clients for years. I called at least 5 places and got turned down! When first calling Pates I was told they were filling up quickly, but that they would try their hardest to get me in. I received a call less than 2 days later to schedule my weekly cleanings. I knew nothing about pools, chemicals, anything, which is needed to know what chemicals to bring, and how to clean it. The customer service rep took the time to help me get the details, and had me scheduled. I have been using them for three months and my pool is spotless even being covered by trees! I highly recommend Pates!

They have just about everything there for the entire home. The layout basically takes you through the whole store and it feels almost like a maze, but you follow through it in one direction. However, if you look carefully, there are shortcuts between sections. I enjoy the journey, so I got my steps in! There's service counters available around different parts of the store for assistance. They also have little gadgets, gizmos, and treats to add to your cart around there too. I found a sleeve of chocolate cookies for $2! Of course, one must visit the cafe when visiting IKEA. One must get the meatball meal. It's under $10 for a dozen meatballs, mashed potatoes, and peas. It is very delicious and filling. IKEA family members can get free tea or coffee from the cafe, but their coffee machine was down. :( I'm sure I'll be back for more home finishings before too long!

The employees are very knowledge and will guide you too. Today I went to redeem my IKEA Family birthday rewards which are some of the best loyalty perks I've received all year. They issued me a $10 coupon off a $10 purchase and a free slice of cake on top of that! I love all of the unique and fun items they offer. It's really easy to get distracted by all the cool stuff. I felt inspired to redecorate my entire house lol. Stocked up on some kitchen essentials--all of which are quite reasonably priced. Can't leave without checking out the "Last Chance" products as well as the "As Is" and other discounted items near the exit. I also had a budget friendly lunch which didn't taste like typical bland cafeteria food. I'd go back again. They have so many interesting things to eat, drink and home goods to purchase. Perfect for last minute holiday shopping!
