We have an 18-year-old Jacuzzi hot tub that lost water and tripped the breaker. We expected the…read moreworst, but the SDAS folks troubleshot the problem as a blown tube fitting and bad circulating pump. They fixed the leak on the first visit and replaced the pump several days later. Back up and running well again. Great folks to work with and they communicated well throughout. Highly recommend.

Oddly, I felt like it took weeks for me to find a company that serviced spas/hot tubs. I finally…read morecalled Royal Spas who referred me to Stewart Dixon. Scheduling an appointment was easy. Stewart is super friendly. I opted for a Monday appointment at 1:30 and had to reschedule for a later time due to a conflict. Not a problem. I was told there would be a $80 fee for them to show up and do a diagnostic check to determine the problem. If it was minor, they would likely have parts on hand to fix it right away. If major, they would order parts and fix it later. Knowing nothing about this new hot tub that came with my house, I was concerned when it kept shutting itself off. I googled and googled for a DIY fix. Nada. Second concern, "I really hope this doesn't cost an arm and a leg to fix". So, my fingers were crossed... Stewart came out and determined it was a small maintenance issue that I was unaware of. My skimmer (something I didn't even know existed) was full of debris. This prohibited flow and signaled the spa to shut itself off. While I felt just plain silly, he fixed the issue and continued to spend time educating me on my spa functionality, maintenance, etc. Much appreciated. They had used my garden hose to fill the spa and Stewart mentioned that I really should disconnect it for the Winter. I said I agreed, but it was connected so tightly that I could not get it off. He responded, "We got it disconnected for you and will wind it up and put it in your garage for you." Also much appreciated. Honestly, this was one of the best service calls I have ever had in my new home. Stewart only charged me the $80 to come out for diagnostics and left me with a wealth of knowledge. If you are in need of aquatic services, PLEASE give Stewart a ring. You won't be disappointed! Professional, knowledgeable, great testimonials, Angie's List approved and very nice. My hot tub is almost warmed up for use again! Can't wait.

Awful Service, Takes Money and Runs, VERY Expensive…read more Service crew has no idea what the hell they are doing and do not stand behind their work at ALL! Had already replaced something on the hot tub that didn't even need replaced and broke part of that in the end. Terrible!! Quoted me ~$500.00 to repair/replace a piece of equipment to a hot tub that I ended up fixing myself with no knowledge of hot tubs for less the $75.00...Poor communication, poor service, and awful care of its customers. Avoid using this company if you can!!!

Caution!!! When using these guys. Earlier this year I had to order a new pump in which they…read moreinstalled. The pump was fine, it ran with no issues and I was happy with their service. I decided to use their services to close down my pool this year, and this has caused me a huge headache. My pool has a dial timer in which there are two screw-on pegs that turn the pump on and off. Just under the dial is the on/off switch that those pegs interact with. The technician manually turned that on/off switch to the off position instead of the breaker that is on the same panel. Since he turned the wrong switch off, the 8am setting turned the pump on after it was winterized. The next day around 2pm I walked outside to see my roughly two month old pump smoking. I called Splash and was informed that the tech had to turn the unit off to winterize the lines. It felt as if I were being accused of turning on the pump after it was closed. She explained that this was out of her hands and she would have someone call us back. Later that day a man called and said basically the same thing.
